Although 1.8 is better, the crop factor on that sensor size won't make that much difference for background blur. Just a tiny bit.

Nice job, you summed things up nicely! I especially liked your explanation of the CPU issue. I have seen a fair amount of input on the 808 vs 810 debate, but little actual performance data :)
I JUST got this phone as my first smartphone, and I absolutely love it. I love how big the screen is because it makes it really easy for me to type! I was worried about typing because I have big fingers, and small keyboards are the bane of people with large fingers.

Still rockin my G4. Going on year 4. No regrets.
Have the G3 and can upgrade next May. My G3 was replaced when it got so hot the speaker blew. I changed battery and never had the problem since although I keep the screen no higher than around 65% brightness. This looks like the next phone for me but we'll see in 5 months!

from my two weeks of experience with the g4, the buttons at the back are actually falling into disuse since you can lock and unlock the phone by tapping the screen or using the knock pattern feature

I had the lg g3 and LOVED it, but sadly, since I'm clumsy, I dropped it and the screen cracked and stopped being responsive on that one side. After watching videos, drop test and comparisons of this phone, AND the camera shoots RAW images, I'm sold. This would be perfect for my blog! Great review :)

Does the LG G4 have a touch screen issue though? I heard its not always registering touches? Will this be fixed in a software update or is it a hardware issue?

Great review. I like how you are being realistic about it. Everyone makes a big deal about the processor. I'm currently using S3 and it's quite fast, i don't think i'll be missing out that much if i choose to go with LG G4 rather than S6.

what video camera you used? the table on which the G4 was placed looked very crispy from edge to edge
how do you get those spinning shots of the products is that all in camera or in post?
I have an LG K7, planning on upgrading to this phone. The LG K7 was the first phone I've had out of a very long history of owning phones to have buttons on the back and since getting to experience it I don't think I ever want to go back to having buttons on the side.
