Can also get a brand new t19 shifter cane. They're available. Just have to measure the "finger length." Also, these older 4 speeds often get worn on the slot on the shifter cane. Be sure to take a gander at it whenever you pull the top apart. It's a common source of felt slop/play.

will the t176 t177 shifters fit ito the t18 t19 trans got a 85 f350 diesel with a t19 snappped shift lever
I believe the ball is the same but the finger going in to the transmission is slightly longer. You might be able to cut it down though to match your broken t19 shifter lever.
