      @@johnguelfo4840 I ended up tapping the wires to the front speakers at the front kick panels. There's only one single wire for each speaker's positive and negative there. On the forums, there's lots of talk about the rear speakers not giving a full range signal plus the car uses the rear speakers to compensate for road noise so you really don't want to feed the rear signal into an amp.

    • @xfiringsquadx
      @xfiringsquadx 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@johnguelfo4840 Yes, the amp pushes the sub only. Don't know what remote you're talking about since this isn't my video. What I used for my installation though was an audio control lc7i. You don't have to use a crossover to remove the highs because any amp designed for a subwoofer would have a built in high pass filter.

Can I simply run high level (from sub output) to rca adaptor into the processor then rca to amp inputs for the sub? This seems fairly simple if that’s is how I’d do it. I’d love to install my components up front but wasn’t sure how. Do I just tap into door/tweeter speaker wire then to processor just like sub connections? I’ve been reading that the factory amp this car has makes things a bit harder when trying to upgrade.

      alright I'm back. so I see that these are actually component and not coaxial speakers. Meaning, tweeters are separate from rear speakers and they have their own wires(2) going to it. So I'm bit stumped regarding 4 wires. I hate to tap in to all 4 wires on each side and have only 2 wires run to line out converter. Anyone with solution?

    Thanks for the video, this is awesome stuff! Did you have to cut into that rubber hole to get through the firewall??? Or were you able to just push through with the factory wires.....it looks like your power wire is running to the right of the rubber hole opening...

      Jarvis Sparks thank you ! And I pushed the grommet out so I can slide the wire to the side of it and I loom the wire so it doesn’t get pinched between the metal and the grommet. I don’t like to cut through the grommet where the factory wires are for the fact that I don’t want to damage any factory wires and cause a problem

    Hello,
    I installed a kicker hideaway under the passenger seat,
    Now I also bought the kicker converted,
    And when I accelerate turn on the car and drive it and the RPMS go around 2K the subwoofer makes a loud HUMM... bass,
    Did you happen to know what wires to get them from on the back speaker there is 4 wires on each speakers,
    Not sure if maybe my converter I got from kicker is not the one for that cause.
    Or something is not hooked up correctly.

      Bryan Margain hey Bryan. You have to disconnect the anc to get rid of that noise. Watch my second video for an explanation !
