Hey MotoGeo , How do you compare this to the Multistrada you took around the isle of man ? I am looking hard into these kinds of bikes and have test ridden a 2010 multi, 2015 mv agusta veloce but both of them have their pro's and cons. Looking to take a 2015 caponord out next week to see how it goes, price wise its a bargain compared to new multi's and even the bmw xr but what do you think I like going for blitz by myself during the week and my and my missus go for longer rides over some hills in NZ on the weekends.
not sure I would call that a review. almost a commercial. they are nice bikes, and very attractively priced. you would probably be pleased with it, unless you came off a multistrada. they're simply no other bike like the multistrada. My all-time favorite. 2010- now. incredible machine 1200 s touring for what it's worth, Aprilia makes fantastic motorcycles. very reliable great engines. I've had a couple of tuonos and a shiver. not a single issue. The rear brakes are absolute garbage though
It wants to be like the Multi. My Multi was in for service over a weekend so my dealer gave me a Caponord loaner. I found it softer, too soft for my taste even with the electronics turned up, but I'm a big guy. It has gobs of torque down low but lacks the top end rush of the Multi. It did strike me as a well designed high quality bike and well worth the price, but it's not as exhilarating as the Ducati.
Such an overlooked bike. I'm buying one. They're awesome.
nice little review
i'm looking forward to see the new caponord rally in action
Nice Review as Usual !!!
And good looking Bike...tho,
the MultiStrada would be Choice,
Due to the weight and style, IMO
;)

MotoGeo Any plans on doing a BMW video soon? Loved the scrambler videos btw.
Can you talk a bit more about off-road? How would it stack up against a 1200gs?

Is that based or derived from the Multistrada at all?
Love the videos!
it's derived from the Dorsoduro 1200

Longer vids!
Get some oil on that chain!
good lord! Look at that rust 0:24
Alberto Knox Not rust guys, just the dust from Baja's off-roading.....come on, we ride bikes here at MotoGeo, not wash em :)
MotoGeo That is the best comment of 2015!
But that music though.
so... no flaws at all basically?
A bit on the heavy side but overall, a great touring bike with bags of power and comfort.
Couldn't help but notice the chain looked rather nasty.
That's what you get when you go off-road....
true that
That was a presentation not a review at all.
