Hi Tim. Thanks man. I have a 2015 and cannot remove the oil filter without moving the ABS unit. I sure wish we had some instructions on that. It's not even in the service manual.
+Tim Harrop : +Tim Harrop : It turns out that you CAN remove the oil filter, you just have to manhandle it. They must have packed some additional gear in the ABS control unit as the cover is nearly an interference fit.
Tim do you know if the 2016 Caponord 1200 takes the same filter and oil...update: After pulling the skid plate I can actually see the filter # 10335 and the location of the plug is exactly like yours. Thanks buddy🍻
Did you put in 3 quarts only? I just changed mine, and 3.8 liters is equal to 4 quarts, and now the glass is filled past the max line. Please let me know when you can. Thank you
Drain some of that new oil to bring it below max fill. There may have been some residual oil from original drainage. I tend to measure what I drain before putting new oil in to avoid overfilling.
Well done Tim. Just purchased a 2016 Capo Rally, and this fun activity (i.e. oil change) is on the to-do list. Thanks for a very informative video.
Hello Bruce.....I have Aprilla Capanord and I am planning to do a Oil change. Can you help me out on what oil to use.
I just got a 2016 Caponord 1200 Rally. Do you know if it takes the same oil filter and same oil as this one?

Hi Tim. Great video. Is there a way to reset the service light on the dashboard ?
I have a 2012 Dorsoduro 1200. I hope that I will not struggle to change the oil filter.
