- Adventure bikes; all the rage at the moment and if, as a manufacturer, you don't have one in your catalogue, you're nowhere. Aprilia's Caponord is a good street enduro but if you were in the market for a full-on Italian adventure bike you had nowhere to go; until now. All hail the Aprilia Caponord Rallye. Harry tests it and comes away impressed.

I was waiting for him to go into more detail on the way it rides, both on and off road, but it just kind of got glossed over. The most I could draw from it is that the on-road handling is "good", and the offroad handling is at least acceptable.

What do you use for clothing when you ride the adventure bikes?
How long did you end up keeping the bike for in the end and how was the service experience/costs? Reason I’m asking is I’m looking at a low mileage 2nd hand one currently and the price is very tempting.
The KTM 1190 or the Aprilia Caponord 1200 Rally? I can't make up my mind :(

Rob Mitchell Harry had a comb but it got lost in his hair, along with several pens and his first kitten. Could still be in there for all we know...
How does it compare to the Ducati Multistrada?
Boodieman72 The Ducati is not really an Adventure bike; it looks like one but really it has no off-road pretensions. I'm not sure the Capo would in any way trouble a GS or KTM off-road but at least Aprilia have had a try. Both the Italians are spectacularly good on tar, though.

238kg for a 1200 is pretty light as well….
In my opinion, it's not pretty enough. Compared to the RSV it doesnt feel as.....Italian.
Such is my opinion.
I would love to look at a new iteration of this bike. Something on par with the s1000 xr and Duke gt.
Civilization is decreasing at an alarming rate.
Ducati Multistrada And BMW 1000XR , KTM 1190 Adventure ,Look better And all are lighter and have more HP !
