The one good thing about Tom Ford is that it can be found at Cosmetic Company Stores (Estee Lauder owned brands) where they're 40-50% off items. That's the best way to try the brand.
In this episode of "Never would I EVER" lol im just here to listen to talk about make up. No way I'm spending that much on makeup 🤣 but I love you videos!
Ok that’s my favorite foundation of life. I put the brush onto the stick not the stick on the face. Which is how I’ve seen everyone else use it. Then I buff it into the skin and yes it stays kinda dewy all day but never breaks down on me and looks better and better all day long. It’s the only foundation I’ve ever used where my partner, who hates makeup, has complimented me on how good my skin looks. FYI I’m 40. Live in Colorado (dry) and have normal to dry olive skin (the undertones are killer for me).
@@kackie I think so but I’ve never been able to get the WA to blend into my skin. For some reason it just looks like powder and wax sitting on top of it 🤷♀️.
OMG!!!!!! MIND BLOWN!!!! I had no idea about this issue with carmine. I went through an entire blush having the red dot issue and never knew why! Now I know!
I think you'll absolutely love the Tom Ford Cream and Powder Eyeshadow Duo in 'Golden Peach'. That cream color is to die for for someone who loves warm pinky eyeshadow colors.
I actually think you'll like that lipgloss with another look. 😉 That first shadow pallet is so pretty, but I'm addicted to the ColourPop formula and price tag. Thank you for trying all of these goodies for us. ❤
I love the cream eyeshadows and powder blush. But, I only purchase at the Cosmetics Company Outlet. They usually have them for 50-60% off and if you spend a certain amount there’s an additional discount.
The closest I ever came to owning Tom Ford was during a holiday in Ireland with my parents, my mum caught me deliberating over which nude lipstick would suit me best, took a look at the price and pretty much grabbed me by the scruff of my neck like a misbehaving kitten and marched me out of… I think it was Brown Thomas. To be fair to her even at that time I had more than enough makeup, and I ended up getting nicer longer lasting things to commemorate the trip. I totally get what you’re saying about the pigmentation of eyeshadows, I like smoky eyes enough to do soft versions daily, but I’d much rather layer the colour a few times to get intensity. I recently got a couple of viseart palettes, the ones that come with the clear lid, one matte, one shimmer and oh my, it’s such a relief not to have to be on high alert while doing my eyes because I didn’t tap out my brush enough so now I look like a whole palette exploded on my face. I’m just not skilled enough to use high impact eyeshadows I suspect.
I have been WAITING for this follow up after your haul. I'm fascinated my this luxury price point because it's something I will likely never buy. I did think it made a gorgeous all over look
Oh thank you I feel so much better about not being able to afford this, I often wonder if I could spend a ton on foundation could I find that “perfect” one but I’ve being trying to focus more on skin care and less on boujie foundation and that’s helped my skin to look better with more foundations anyway 😂🤷🏼♀️
You know, I have three of Tom Ford’s eye quads because you know, Tom Ford. But tbh, I *never* really wear them. Occasionally, I feel compelled to pull them out and they’re nice but I really wonder why I needed them. They could disappear and I doubt I’d notice. That’s $264.00 in the bin.
🤣 okay you put on the first lip gloss and I immediately went 😳 and was thinking “I hope she doesn’t like it…” and then your reaction confirmed my opinion 😆 can’t WAIT for Dior video - the airbrush foundation is my fave for summer (I’m too dry in winter for it - a damp sponge is best for application IMO, the brush they recommend just tears my skin), love their glow highlighter and lip glow and sugar scrub!
I have the TF Golden Mink quad and I do really like it. FYI the glittery shades (the two top shades) are best applied with your finger and with a Hannah Louise Poston level of aggressively pushing your finger into the shadow. It has a tendency to “seal up” if you don’t give it some elbow grease when you dip into it.
I loved hearing your opinions on these products!! It would be nice to hear your thoughts on the Shade and Iluminate cream bronzer and highlight at some point!
Duuuuuude. I own Body Heat and the wet swatches you did still hot me all hot and bothered 😹 I will never tell anyone else in my life that TF quads are worth the price, but it is worth it to me personally. I selected Body Heat as my one perfect Tom Ford quad and it’s just gorgeous. I feel like you need to be someone who loves makeup just for the sake of it if you plan to buy one of these
I know you did a video on your decision recently, so im cool with it. Been here thru the shifts since clean beauty year haha. But I was wondering if the deluxe brands like dior and tom ford are like “grey area” cruelty free or not at all?
I’ve actually had my eye on the Tom Ford stick for a while, because when you break it down by price per ounce it’s way more affordable than both the Merit AND Westman Atelier sticks. You get a full half ounce of product with TF, which is a lot for a stick formula and way more than either if the others I mentioned. I just can’t get down with a non liquid formula though so I’ll probably never buy it. It looks beautiful though!
Fantastic Presentation! I own & enjoy a smattering of TF..I ‘think’ you would enjoy the Lipgloss: Soleil Sunlust..”Nice & Peachy” after application..Unique❣️
"We're all working to Tom afFord this *fart*" 😂 yeah......... I got a sample of Lost Cherry today.......... yeah.........I can fart but I can't Tom afFord this.
I appreciate this video a lot to hear expectations vs reality. I don’t buy super pricy makeup much anymore but i do own 2 eye quads and totally agree that they’re a more mature style, i prefer these type of shimmers as i get older, but at times i do still want something more flashy, so i love the wet/dry formula for that… or another brand lol. i don’t think you’d like the pot shadows, idk but in regards to longevity, my experience was such a disappointment. your dayquil sip was hilarious
FYI, if by "pewter eyeshadow" you mean the cream eyeshadow in Platinum, it's not pewter at all. In fact, it's almost identical to Marie Antoinette/Oyster Pearl. Charlotte Tilbury developed Tom Ford's make up line before she came out with her own brand and then replicated some of the products.
I tried a sample of a lipstick and adored it. I go for reds, and the color was gorgeous, it felt balmy, and had staying power. I wish I hadn’t tried it because I loved it. But. But. I just am not going to spend almost $60 on a lipstick- especially since I have a selection of lipsticks and not just the one I use every day
I’ve gotten the red dots from some products as well, most recent was the Phytosurgence Fervor blush (although not the second time I wore it…) so not sure what is causing it! Maybe the pigment settles into the pore and stains it? 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
When I'm thinking about purchasing a product I'm not familiar with, I always read the most negative comments first. This way, I can reel myself back from being overly giddy from the hype. Especially with high priced brands. However, the TF lip glosses look great. I will probably wait for another sale to pick up one. I think $58 is just too much.
I love the Tom Ford shade and illuminate radiant foundation. It is a lovely shade match for my skin tone. I do have difficulty with shade matching. Nordstrom helped me last year in November. I kept ordering the wrong shade online. I have Double Indemnity. I ordered it during the Black Friday sale for $44. It is so pretty. It is the wet dry formula. The picture makes it look so dramatic. The taupe colors are actually quite wearable.
Our Sephora only has TF online, so you can’t swatch in store. 😔 I did buy the quad that was on sale for half price and is very neutral, but I haven’t had a chance to play with it yet. I will definitely try the shades wet, though!
I have the exact same thing (the red dots on my face) with the Dior Backstage blush! I don’t know if there’s carmine in that one too..? It has made me stop using the blush and that makes me a little bit sad, cause it’s a pretty blush, but I can’t stand those red dots! Makes me look like I have the chickenpox 😱
I was so sad, brazen rose was very cool pink on me. Looked odd. The sunburst was too bright. I give up but that TF blush formula is so nice. Hopefully, they come out with some more colors.
I loooooovvveee Tom Ford products. Only luxury products that have impressed me. I love his bronzer (small compact, old formulat) in Terra. I think Gold Dust would be super pretty on you. I could wear Body Heat every day and be perfectly content. It’s my favorite of the 7 TF quads I own (but I got them all on sale). I love PML lip glosses too much to ever pay $58 for a TF gloss.

Nude dip is one of the most gorgeous palettes! I have a large luxury palette collection and it’s one of my favorites! If you have a cosmetic company outlet near you it’s often almost half price there !
Tom Ford lipsticks are amazing. Indian Rose is pretty perfect for pretty much everyone. Very moisturising, not matte and not satin, the formula is beautiful and lasts. I think they're well worth the investment, so long as you get the right colour. (I bought one spur of the moment in Duty Free a few years ago and have never worn it, groan.)
the thing about luxury is many times luxury has a color that ca not be duped. and the most subtle color can make you look 10 years younger or just extra pretty. Maybeline NEVER makes me look extra special. but tom ford color does, some things are not worth it like a lot of spendy blush but foundation & certain colors on the lip are worth the price.
Tom Ford's eyeshadow palettes are the best quality in cosmetic industry because they have absolutely no fall out. These eyeshadows are investment, not just a purchase.
Oh man, I am bougie and have a lot of luxury makeup and a decent amount of Tom Ford, but even I could not justify the new blushes. But to be fair, I have like 5 of his lipsticks, because I like most of his lipstick formulas. I am curious about the blush though!!
The shadows are okay however the Traceless stick foundation is in my top 3 and has been for awhile now….. I did purchase the Shade and Illuminate and was NOT a fan but it could be that it was way to light for me…. It also has way to much SPF in it and the smell is to overwhelming so I’m stuck with it ( waited to long to open it ) and plan on gifting it to a friend with that skin tone ,) I feel like Pat Mcgrath and even Natasha Denona are all around better brands with only a few hits for me when it comes to the $ of Mr. Tom Ford
.....I bought an $8 ColorBob lux gloss the other day and got annoyed when Ulta announced a 20% storewide sale the next day. But yeah, go off with your $58 gloss😶
Personally I’m pretty much don with Tom Ford. Since he sold out to Estée Lauder I’m not sure if he’s even involved in the brand anymore. Plus, the price just seems totally crazy.
The eyeshadows are good and so is the waterproof foundation which I can’t find anymore. But the eyeshadow packages and lipsticks gets so ugly fast. My lipstick will look beat up and raggedy after some months in my cosmetic bag. I don’t carry rocks in there
I know you do great makeup and I love your videos so I am confident this look will turn out great, but watching you apply the foundation stick while taking DayQuil and using the ‘sauce’ gave me so much anxiety and I have no idea why. It did make me laugh out loud though…maybe that new mom brain energy I share.

@@Bl4ckSquirr3l I believe they're in Canada and the US. They're in outlet malls. Unfortunately, they don't have a website you can purchase from.

OMG!!!!!! MIND BLOWN!!!! I had no idea about this issue with carmine. I went through an entire blush having the red dot issue and never knew why! Now I know!
