I totally agree about the Rare Beauty concealer brush! I find it useful though for touch-ups like around the nose and under the eyes when it gets a bit crinkly... Works great for that!
Congrats on getting PR from Rare! I was also laughing because you are usually a "More Blush" kind of person but with the super pigmented formula you went lighter on the blush today. I have four liquid blushes in the small size packaging, and I love that size because the applicator is small so it is easier to control the pigment on the blushes that way by applying it directly to your cheeks.
This look just came together RIGHT. 10/10. About the blushes, I always use the back of my hand as a palette so I've never had a problem with the pigment. Granted my skin is a bit deeper, I mix 170w & 230n rare beauty shades.
I love watching your technique and would love to see you apply makeup on someone else using your technique. Then it occurre to me: Would you and Amanda consider doing a video where you apply makeup on Amanda using your techniques and Amanda applies makeup on you using her techniques? I think it would be an incredibly super fun and super hilarious video!

Rare beauty removed the blush brush from sephora so I'm hoping they're gonna redo it. The foundation and concealer brushes are amazing so hopefully they can remake the blush brush to be just as good. Omg, I literally cried from laughing so hard at the Amanda skit. Love both of your channels.

I use it like Matilda on Video recommends - wiping off the applicator on the edge of the tube, two tiny dots, and then I use the Elf Airbrush Precision Blender brush (which is AMAZING). Ok so I didn't read all the comments...however, I put one small dab on my finger. Then put my fingers left and right together so it's 50 50. Then apply in 2-3 dabs directly on my cheeks from each finger. Then use a brush to spread. It's just the right amount. Super easy!

I've tried the brand, but I have to be honest I ended up putting it in my box of costume make up because that's how I rated the quality. Its good enough for my neices to play with and for halloween.
I was really eyeing those Makeup by Mario quads, but when I swatched them the first two were way too light! The mattes in the 2nd one barely showed up and I'm definitely light. Don't get me wrong, I do appreciate when you acknowledge that certain shades are meant for different skin depths, but just know sometimes it's deceiving. There's still a lot of diversity theater, where lines can seem inclusive bc of the number of shades or range, but the quality/nuance of the deeper colors make them useless.
