I can give Sega this being the least perverted outing for the Vinesauce full sauce channel think Sony and Nintendo are tied in this one and some of them are not even commercials even though I agree great one liner from p*rn Link pretty certain that someone said that beating one of the N64 Zelda games that took them a while I did when beating majora's mask the first time

We've had louder and more bombastic Vinny laughs, but I think this stream had some of the most _genuine_ Vinny laughs we've ever heard, it just makes me so happy

Weird because Kirby itself is such a Wholesome and heartwarming series, even with the whole eldritch horrors that keep popping up.
They were the times where advertisers thought games were for boys only and therefore couldn't be cute by that "logic," so there was a heavy push of "Kirby's got ATTITUDE!!"
I had no idea what kind of game was being advertised once the snail nipples showed up on screen.
This part of the stream seems like such a fever dream now. 😂 I have no idea what I was more disturbed by, the weird old game commercials or the Zorn parodies that I feel the need to scrub my brain completely of the thought of their existence. 😅 Either way I did have a lot of fun laughing along with this and couldn't think of a better Sunday Stream closer. Thanks for the Stalgia and the trauma Vin lol this was a trip.

I have heard that Milk's healthyness is often greatly exaggerated in marketing and media so they legit have a point, its like the same way Diamonds aren't actually rare, just we've been gaslit by corporations in an attempt to make us value and support their industry more than we would've otherwise.

As a non-american, the 'Got Milk' campaign is incredibly weird. The fact that is was a campaign, though, seems incredibly telling of its nature. If it was truly done with the health of the public in mind, wouldn't it have been taught in schools, rather than on the same platforms that exist purely to shove products down throats?

From what I can tell the Québec kirby ad at the beginning is kind of unique in the sense that a lot of the video game ads that got aired in QC mostly were either dubbed ads from the US or just the exact same ones from France. But afaik its one of two video game commercials I've seen from that time have a decent production and also use actors from Québec.

Not really. Sometimes you'll see some French people say that they can't understand the québécois accent but honestly the only explanation i have for that is that those people are kind of stupid. Obviously like with any languages you'll have some accents specific to some places that can be hard to understand (the Acadian accent comes to mind) but it's still the same language. But quebeckers really dont have any trouble understanding european French. A lot of the dubbing done in Qc, minus some exceptions like the simpsons which is done with the heavy QC accent, is done in the "standard" international French with some minor changes to some pronounciations. Like for exemple there's two French dubs of the Raimi Spiderman films, the French one and the Québec one. One of the huge differences between the two is the way the word "Spiderman" is pronounced. In France they say it "Spi-dèrre-manne" while in Qc people here simply say Spiderman like in English. But a lot of the dubbed stuff you'll have in Qc will the identical one used in France, it's not everything that gets Québec specific dubbing.

I fucking loved this stream. Chat's always clowning on Vinny so it was amazing to see Vinny flip the tables and have US trembling in fear that some people in shitty costumes could be the next video. This made me wonder if Vinny really didn't like the segment initially, and so inserted "alternative media" to make us experience his suffering.
I'd like to nominate this segment for stream of the year. Never in all my years watching Bipyort have I ever been so damn SCARED of what the lad was going to show us next, knowing it was wholly out of my control.

Nah, it was actually totally random. I just happened to have watched the clips from a twitter that posts out of context videos with some friends a couple weeks ago and after the last video game commercial segment I realized how weird/sexual the game commercials actually are and thought it would be funny if he looked over the clips alongside the commercials. The clips were submitted completely separate from whoever submitted the game commercials. He cut some of them off quickly, but they actually contained no nudity. Sonic one was pushing it a bit, but I'll be more careful next time.
