The only good mobile games left are usually ports of other good games on other platforms. Like Dicey Dungeons and such.
That "horse-caring game" ad seems like exactly the kind an unsuspecting child would see and then then feel scarred for life, and would scream at the ending. It's got the unsettling voice, the voice crying for help, and unsettling noises and imagery. Hell, most of these mobile ads are made for shock value, just to show people or to get people to download their (secretly match-3) game, and then we have this kind that is SPECIFICALLY FORMULATED to scare people.
Someone 15 years from now would find this video and go, "yup, that's the one I saw, and I had nightmares about it for months."

Every question Vinny has about these ads can be answered thusly: They are psychologically crafted to get the attention of kids. Random mashups, old and new memes, bodily functions, sexuality and other topics that are taboo for children. Whatever they can get away with, the advertisers use. There's no doubt that psychology is employed to prey on the target demographics.
One of the most consistent things I see in mobile ads is people failing at very easy tasks. This is because it preys on your instinct to go "Well, I could do better than that!"

These ads are either: 1) used to activate sleeper agents like Vinny said, 2) specifically being made to end up in cringe compilations which would give more publicity to those who made them, or 3) simply psychological warfare.

I think the craziest part, to me at least, is that 37:26 is *_EERILY_* similar to a dream I had when I was younger. It's like looking into a mirror that reflects your past, it's so surreal. Hell, it's basically a one-to-one of what I remember of it. The main difference is that the horse in my dream didn't talk and her death was more dramatic and in slow motion than instant and jumpscare-y.
