Vinny, the other foreign Robocop you were thinking of earlier on at around 1:11:10 was from South Korea. That was where the fried chicken ad was from. Also, why was the Only Hawks Fans ad cut from this video? :(
1:32:26 These chat members aren't wrong, tbh. Obviously, Andy Secombe will always do the most accurate Watto voice because he's literally the actor, but I feel like Vinny's Watto is impressively flexible for general conversation and going on strange diatribes while still being very faithful to the essence of the character. It's like Andy is Watto while he's on the clock and Vinny is Watto during his time off
50:11 Normally, sound effects like this sound so crusty because the commercial audio quality is just horrible, but my grandparents had this exact "Puck-man" game and that start-up jingle sounded every bit as shrill and warbly in real life as it does here. And, yeah, the buttons were an almost indescribable mix of mushy to press and yet somehow crunchy, like a trash rubber membrane and super cheap plastic snagging on itself
I've watched every fullsauce video that has been posted in the last 5 years and somehow Commercial Chaos segments are my absolute favorite. I'm about Vinny's age so I share the same nostalgia for 90s commercials and i love it. I came to this channel for video games and somehow Vinny has me excited to watch hours of back to back ads more than anything else. What the fuck lmao.
1:15:27 that's his real name, he's also famous for having politicians sign his (base)balls. his mother's name was dixie bigger, I KNOW it sounds fake but this is all real i swear, they all were born and raised in biggsville Illinois. and he's at the state fair every year to get signatures on the balls.
looked up "watto one currency" and the video description claims that it's fake and the uploader hired the OG watto VA to make a "tone poem" commercial similar to real "tone poem" commercials that were aired using other characters. basically, just as described at 1:31:53
Before that, there was an Atlanta Hawks ad for the NBA In-Season Tournament that was called "Only Hawks Fans" which was parodying OnlyFans of all things. It was shared live on Twitch.TV, but wasn't shown here for some reason.
12:58 General Sam actually cooked a whole thanksgiving dinner including a big turkey in only microwaves, it came out surprisingly edible but looked horrible
I know Vinny said he's going to wait until next month to provide credits for this video, but I figure I might as well comment to say I'm one of the commercial contributors for this month. My friend, JusticeWellerColde, also submitted a couple of ads himself. I might as well give myself the explanations and fun facts for the ads that I posted, with me listing times for my friend's ads after the end of my trivia posts. The ad for "A Very Public Service Message" at 6:47 was mainly had because I figured it'd be good to share some ads that TV Tropes would consider funny, awesome, or heartwarming (sometimes multiple options at once) to MadClown that should be shared onto here. After all, it's not just the bad ads that should get recognized so much as the best or better ads of the world at hand. The Neo Geo and Art of Fighting 2 ad at 42:15 was something I submitted also because I wanted to let Vinny see an ad from the Neo Geo in Japan that I thought he'd enjoy. I'm certainly glad to see Vinny had some fun with it, at least. You can consider me someone that's a fan of the Neo Geo ever since I played some of the Neo Geo's games on the Wii via Virtual Console. (R.I.P.) Now the Turok 3: Shadows of Oblivion ad at 48:21 is something I actually need to thank Vinny for with reminding me to submit the only ad I could find for it on TH-cam as a part of this video for November. Doubly so since he informed me that Turok 3's remastered version is coming out a few days from now, and I never played that game at the time due to how young I was. I remembered briefly playing the original Turok when I was a young boy and got frightened by it due to the heights of the Treetop level and how daunting it looked. Since then, I actually beat both Turok: Dinosaur Hunter and Turok 2: Seeds of Evil on PC, and I hope to complete Turok 3 as soon as I can. It truly is incredible how much Acclaim put into Turok 3 for the Nintendo 64 late in its cycle, though. Also, fun fact, I actually played against Vinny on the last multiplayer stream he had for Turok 2. He was my only kill there, and to be honest, FPS games aren't my genre of specialty. Continuing with Turok there, the ad at 54:33 was also my inclusion because of Vinny's stream from last month, though this is honestly for me because when I first saw it, I was like "Fuck, I wish I knew these toys existed! I would have loved to play the shit out of them as a kid!" Still feel that way today, and I echo Vinny's sentiment in that had Acclaim not dropped the ball with the franchise like they did, Turok would be much more highly regarded as a franchise, kind of like Invincible is right now, relatively speaking. Hopefully Nightdive Studios do become the new owners of the series and potentially are able to make a new Turok game that fits the original series or even the 1990's rendition of it. The only thing missing from the Turok stuff that might not have already been streamed earlier on with the Turok animated movie that I think Vinny might give a shot at watching someday. I know I would love to watch it myself at least once. Now for one of the big ads I was hoping to see sooner than later! The Robocop ad from South Korea promoting Lotteham fried chicken at 1:01:33 is an absolute classic for me ever since I first discovered it back in the late 2000's around the time I was really into TH-cam Poops. The incorrect captions for it with Robocop saying "Oh, what the Hell? Fried chicken!", "Could I get a dessert?", and "Yo, I'm about to eat." were gold to me when I was young, not to mention the idea of an ending slogan being "What the Hell? Ding dong, shit cum." It's kind of a shame the ad immediately got overshadowed by an ad with animated asses afterward, but I'm at least happy he finally got to see such a classic ad here. For a fun fact on this one, this was one of the ads that was originally supposed to be shown in the local and international ads section for September, but was cut for time and hopefully will be seen properly sometime next year (maybe January at the earliest). However, due to the Robocop video game, it's understandable why it was moved for this month instead. Also, to remark to Vinny at around 1:11:10 or so, the Robocop you were thinking of was the one in South Korea. There was also an Atlanta Hawks ad for the NBA In-Season Tournament that was there when it was shown live, but wasn't there at all for TH-cam for some reason. Basically, I saw them put this up on Twitter like it was a good idea, and I was like "what in the fuck?" at first, only for me to realize that it's perfect for Vinny to stream with chat being baited there. Of course, it worked since at least one of the chat members reacted with an OwO there, but I genuinely wanted to see it being seen here on TH-cam properly. :( Anyways, my friend Justice provided the ads seen at 15:31 and 18:31. He's primarily proud of the second ad being seen here from a talk I had with him. Also, keep your eyes out for December's video. Some of it considered typical Christmas affair with the sweet sounding stuff in mind, but trust me when I say there's one ad that'll be there that I submitted months in advance that's going to blow you away when you see it in action... ;)
THE WATTO COMMERCIAL IS FUCKING REAL. I remember seeing this video from the special unlocks on the Jedi Starfighter game on PS2! It was made BY Lucasarts as an intentional easter egg. The problem with inflation, is people don't look at it outside the bubble. Because the minimum wage has not kept up at all, and we've gone through recessions, while something in the past sounds insanely expensive when adjusted via inflation. Back then, it would not be seen as the same as we're seeing it.
by that logic it is insanely expensive by modern standards because minimum wage hasn't kept up at all and we've gone through recessions, there is no point here lol
