Q 10, point 2, If the sea water temp drops, the rate of condensation will increase thus the production should go up. But you said water production will reduce, please explain.
This discussion is debatable. If you have considerable reduction in sea water temp, then your water production definitely increases. But if you have huge temp drop in sea water, then in that case, water production reduces (Think of water production in polar areas)
Bro the Jcw in and Out temp drop difference on the evaporator side should be atleast 12-15c so in the diagram it’s 25c so heat transfer in the evaporator for the SW to get evaporate is more then is it a problem?
Sir, What troubleshooting measures can be tried out on ship's fresh water generator which is producing far less output in Laden condition than in Ballast condition ? During Ballast Production 33.0 MT/day, During Laden production 12 MT/ day. Please advise
What type of paint is that? In ques number 5....Because of that paint we are asked to set limit of 60 degree cel... What is the purpose of that paint?... Can't we avoid that paint?
Brother, sometimes Dg ask a question about FWG. why the condenser S.W inlet and outlet temperature difference should not be more than 10 degree? can u pls help us? this answer i didn't find anywhere
It is related to Heat transfer calculation in Evaporator. Inlet temp and Outlet temp for effective steaming. So for a general Marine FWG, this temp diff of 10 deg is needed. Also thermal Stresses are taken care of.
Excellent video, sir.
Please, if possible make some video regarding IG SYSTEM , N2 SYSTEM AND FRAMO PUMP.
best ever explination , keep it up sir
Thanks alot

Very informative sir...keep sharing
Thanks alot
And one more doubt brother.. if the salt concentration is higher then will the 3 way valve will send it to overboard or back to evaporator side?
back to evaporator side
thank you
Most welcome
Great video sir
