Pressure test carried out in my ship at 5 bars at pipe duct / duct keel level. In bunker manifold the pressure was 2.4 Bars only because we have to consider the hydrostatic pressure of the liquid (there is about 28 meters column from Duct Keel to Bunker Manifold). I will appreciate your comments in this respect.
Also using compressed air as medium will not help. If there is a leak in the system it will not help in finding the leak. Instead if use D.O we can find any leak because we can find the leak easily.
sir, can we carry out pressure test while vessel is in anchor at US waters. vessel stayed long at anchor for more than a month and our pressure test was already due. as per your instruction vessel should not be in port?
Bro when you open the filling valve after finish the bunker line test system is getting air lock without air came inside how the fuel will drop to storage tank, 1st need to open 1S filling valve then open the purge valve to allow the air then only fuel will drain to storage tank
I think doing test with oil is more dangerous as it is not a clean method which can lead to spillage and leakages if any cracks. Usually it's done with nitrogen gas, i guess.
Correction - at 7:30, 'Air is Compressible in Nature' . Pardon for that.🙏
Bro,the explanation in the video with your hand written stuffs with good.Thanks.Keep rocking..👍
Thanks alot Sudharshan Murthy.👍👍

Thanks alot Marc C for your kind words. Much appreciated. 😊😀😀
excellent performance sir
Thank you
BROTHER, you are not mentioned the bunker line reileif valve.
Good explanation. Indeed helpful for many. Even 4th engineer's on-board.
Thank you so much Purnaprasanth Palli for your valuable feedback.👍
@@CLASS4ORALS you're mostly welcome manu.
Well explained
Thanks alot

Yo thank u so much u made it so simple n easy to understand.
Most welcome Lokesh Gouda.😊👍
Excellent explanation , sir. Please make some video regarding IG system.
Okay Pratik ..will try to make some day about IGS too..thanks for your interest
Well explained.....thank you 🙂
Most Welcome👍
how about closing valve no.9 after filling bunker line on deck !!, should the line be opened till the pump after pressure rising the manifold?
Thankyou so much bro ❤️❤️❤️...
Any time
Thankyou for your hardwork🙌🏼
Thanks alot 👍

True. 👌 thank u for adding your valuable information here.
Please be so kind to explain about blinding of bunker line safety valve/s
Very good, can you explain how to carry out cargo line pressure test and COW line?
Yes I will soon explain it. Thanks

1P Tank has F.O. or D.O?
WHAT IS THE IMPA CODE TO ORDER GRACO PUMP OR TROJAN PUMP? I WANT TO ORDER.
Air is compressible, and medium of test can also be air, we did the bunker line test with air only.
That is Bunker line Integrity test

Where will you get this much huge qty of Nitrogen gas on ship??
For cracks check only we r pressure testing
air is compressible in nature....please correct
Yes Corrected. Thanks
