Something of note is that battle beast injured himself fighting thragg, although thragg was also injured,we’ve seen that viltrimites are extremely resistant, we’ve seen them hold their own guts in their hand and still able to fly and fight,so that cut thragg got probably didn’t make him that much weaker l,while battle beast most definitely made him weaker,and still fought till the end

Honestly, Allen is the one who fumbled. If he had just let the ragnars be released after battle beast died, they would have killed him. He knew Battle Beast wanted a 1v1 so he should have known battle beast would help thragg rather than fight with the ragnars.

That’s not why Allen backs down. As Thragg already stated, Allen didn’t even want to release the virus but felt pressure to. He backs down after hearing Thragg out, not after the first, second, or even third threat.

I think Allen could have been stronger than Mark at the end, but he probably stopped training and getting into fights. I imagine Allen started being a politician and stopped fighting for the most part, unlike Mark who was maintaining peace across the galaxy.
Allen only reached Thragg maybe after second power boost. Thragg is confident in easily killing Allen after the Viltrumite War, and it’s implied he wasn’t lying.

Nolan and Allen we’re losing to weakened Rognarrs, with Nolan saying they only survived because the Rognarrs were weakened. Battle Beast kills Rognarrs casually. Allen was struggling against Dinosaurus, Thragg no diffed him. Allen has struggled in fights against the Viltrumite general, who is weaker than Thragg by statements and feats.
So no, Allen doesn’t match Thragg by scaling. At all.

I think Allen could go toe to toe with Thragg but that he would ultimately lose as it would turn into a battle of wills. Mark beat Thragg because his spirit is indomitable and he was willing to die along with him if it meant he still died.

Allen could take any viltrumite other than mark in the future and thragg to my understanding. Would have been interesting to see battle beast at full strength fight thragg at full strength. The fatal wound handicap made it “even” but there’s still no real way to tell how badly it hindered one or both of them.

I think it was intended that Thragg and Battle Beast be even, that’s how I think of it at least since they both have similar injuries, I get viltrumites are resistant to damage and can hold their guts and still fly off but Battle Beast is highly resistant to things like that too.

Allen being as strong as Thragg at the time he wanted to release the Scourge virus, would mean Thragg couldn't decapitate Allen and would mean he shouldn't have been affraid to battle him.
Which for a narrative perspective doesn't make sense.
I do consider him to be maybe stronger than Anissa at the time.

Generally agree with the video but just wanna clear up a couple points.
Thragg didn't get a huge power boost, it's just that initially he was caught off guard and swarmed, while when he was showing an example, he was in control and using his far superior intellect and BIQ to beat the Ragnarrs. Also keep in mind that Battle Beast with his weapons cleared the Ragnarrs away with relative ease before their fight, meaning that according to this theory BB with weapons scales above Thragg.
It's never explicitly stated if eos Allen is his strongest. Neither Mark nor Allen were taking that fight seriously and since Allen is a different species, we don't know if his aging works the same way as Viltrumite aging and makes him stronger (if anything, he'd be arguably similar to every other species, which gets weaker as they get older).
If only got crossover from Invincible Universe and Image Comics Universe. I totally wanted to see a fight between battle Beast vs Pitt, but I'd be happy to see a video on who would win between the two.
Idk man, the feat of the destruction of Viltrum would be Multicontinental at best.
Space Racer's gun did most of the trick as it can virtually punch through anything, and it was the thing that made the core unstable enough for Mark, Omniman and Thadeus to punch through.
And even then they as Thadeus said they almost died.
The planet is much bigger and denser than earth. If you wanna argue the calculation, then go do that with the person who made it.

Again what did most of the trick was Space Racer's gun.
It's unknown if they can indeed Punch through a Planet's core because:
1.- They only could destroy Viltrum because the gun Made the core unstable enough for them to punch.
2.- Had they been caught in the Blast radious, they would've died. So even if they can indeed Punch through a Planet if they don't get away fast enough the Blast radious can caught up to them and kill them. Which would mean their attack potency exceeds their durability.
3.-As i recall Viltrum was an old planet, the core was already unstable for them to try and do that
@@CameraPunk5049 sure but Thaedus is weak, like he pretty much got one shotted by Thragg right after they destroyed the planet, and Omni man was somewhat able to handle him even if they lost. and at that time Omni man>invincible. meaning Thaedus is the bare minimum needed to do that feat, and generally none of them were close to dying and even fought right after so they could do way more. so the others already scales higher. and Viltrum is way denser then Earth.
@@CameraPunk5049 weak as in he died instantly to Thragg and only has that one feat so saying he is relative is pure assumption. still Omni man>Invincible even if it was little, and he still had to save Invincible a few times when fighting Thragg. and as showed the Gun mostly is like a laser or beam so it goes in a straight line, they are the one that blew the planet by going behind the path it made. so the issue is their AP exceeding their Durability which well is pretty damn normal in Invincible since the average Viltrumite can decapitate or punch through another Viltrumite rather easily.

The thing about the battle beast vs thragg fight is, I can never get over the fact that thragg only seemed to be able to kill battle beast because of the wound that he gave himself, and the parts of the fight that we do get to see battle beast always seemed to have a slight advantage
sure after battle beast died, everyone leveled up and he got left behind, but I'm not sure it's a big gap, thragg went from almost dying to one shotting the claw beasts, sure, but nolan managed to escape those beasts with much less injury than thragg had, does that mean nolan was stronger?

The viltrumites who destroyed Viltrum could only do it by flying directly behind the projectile of Space Racer's limitless gun.
The limitless gun did most of the work - it carved a clean hole in the planet and they raced behind it to widen it before the pressure of gravity could close it back.
Considering that thragg implies that he could pretty much one shot allen + the fact that allen never tries to engage with thragg in a direct one v one i find it hard to believe that hes on thraggs level, if allen was equal to thragg i simply think he would have fought him, especially after weakening thragg with rognars. Id genuinely say pre mark v thragg mark is already about equal to allen by then, just a bit weaker than thragg as it is, and afterwards mark is undeniably stronger than everyone else without it being close, the issue with allens feats and strength is that other than a weaker nolan and mark earlier on he pretty much never fights anyone top tier except end of series mark who deals with him easily

Allen is brutally strong and durable. The only reason he doesn't shine more is his character. He is no warrior in heart, more like a kind dude.
Just a note on the sun thing -- is it really a fair comparison when superman's powers come directly from the sun and viltumite's powers don't? Not saying mark wins or anything but it doesn't seem like a real direct comparison.
I just want to point out that Battle Beast casually - CASUALLY - one hands a sword that looks like it's the size of Guts' Dragonslayer.

The problem with the superman vs invincible argument is theres only 1 mark but 100s of varients of superman. Its not really a fair argument to use only the best qualities of multiple superman. And as you stated in the video invincible or mark may not be sun proof but battle beast wasnt immune to the vaccume of space but he still held his own against thragg. What im getting at is just because the sun hurts mark doesnt automatically declare superman the victor. Infact superman regularly loses fights against physically weaker opponets. Not to mention mark may be weak to the sun but superman is weak to a green space rock. So yeah i do think mark can beat superman especially after the time skip. But you are right we should see more feats of mark. Its also good to note that mark regularly survives body dismemberment where as i dont see superman doing the same

I think it's unfair to base so much off how they compare in a space fight. Battle Beast cant hold his breath like Allen or the viltrumites, nor does he have any leverage (so he cant necessarily move with hits to reduce impact). Battle Beast is clearly at a different level entirely from the space fight when he's fighting Thragg planetside. Allen 100% wins a space battle but on planet I think it's definitely a contest.

Allen is like that one guy who honestly could beat the big bad yet for some reason always looks for a reason not to do so or is more than willing to send other people to end their lives so he doesn't have, real shame too when you realize every one of his wins is against somebody much weaker than himself
It's cause he can't beat Thragg. Allen isn't dumb, he knows he couldn't win against him.
@@fmrc93 if he and battle beast jumped Thrag it would have been over, and not to mention people like hype up Allen at the end of the viltramite war and say he could have beaten Thrag instead of mark just because he jumped into the sun to save mark from dying, but you make a valid point that I didn't consider that being Allen making the smart choice and not fight people he know he can't beat or is unshore he'd win against
I think BB would win before Allen’s bomb boost, since BB has way higher battle IQ. Allen would overpower him after the bomb boost tho.

I wanna know end of series Eve vs Allen. We know Eve Allen and Mark are better than combatants before but whether Eve beats Mark and Allen is interesting to me. I think hax give it to Eve but it is close.

Hot Take, and I know this channel basically focuses on that.
But over time I grew disdainful and exhausted towards powerleveling and hypothetical fights. As a comic book fan I feel that it reduces the complexity of the story and the depth of the characters to a feats contest, which in many cases are not...the point of the story.
What I appreciate about this channel is that it at least tries to find a clear foundation, and that it keeps the fights within the same universe. So at least there is concrete data and it is not just impartial opinions based on what people believe about the characters based on the 12 seconds of information they saw without context in a TH-cam short.
I'm agree with Allen being stronger tho. In my opinion is most likely in the top 3 of more powerful characters in the comic, and Battle Beast is not in that top.

Battle Beast didnt even use his weaponry and Allen has never shown the endurance to go all-out for 10 days against anyone. Plus, if he were on that Thragg tier, why not go fight Thragg himself?
