Steve Young Horsemanship in the UK is great to watch also, since you are in the UK. He also does demos. And Warwick Schiller (not in the UK but has the same approach). They both focus on horse behavior, influence of your gaze, and talking in a language the horse will understand. As a new horse owner, I enjoy watching all of these types of trainers because I learn from all of them.

Yup, the majority of Europe has no clue about these methods. The East and South live in the Middle Ages where you fight the horse physically into submission and keep it chained beside the cows and the West tortures horses in their own way without any ground work.
And, Steve Young is really good indeed.

Watched Remy with Ryan and thought she was going to turn out great…not a horse for an amateur, by any means, but the only thing that went wrong in her life was the unfortunate fact that she started out life with the wrong humans. Glad she has a second chance at life (literally) and that she was saved from the kill pen. Love watching you and Ryan. Thanks for all you do for horses 🐴 ❤

THIS should be a PRIMER for ANYONE that has anything to fon with horses!!!!!!!!
If anyone doubts the sensitivity of these animals, all they need to do is watch this!!!!!!!
This was a beautiful exhibition of how to push/not push a horse's sensitivities....
For people that have a bad day with their horses - think of how YOU came into the day's relationship!!!!!
They READ EVERY LITTLE MOVEMENT/LOOK WE MAKE😳😳🥹🥹
THECWAY YOU BREAK THIS HORSE AND HER INTERAVTIONS WITH YOU IS JUST BEAUTIFUL🥰🥰🥰
THANK you for what you do with these great animals.....
Like i said - REQUIRED VIEWING - for anyone that works with horses......❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤👏👏👏👏👏
I love RR's talents/philosophies......and im very happy that relationship has brought me here....
To read a horse (REALLY read a horse) is sonething not many people do - and sadly, mishaps happen (truly, they are not 'accidents ') it is generally NOT the horses fault cause the humans are NOT listening to their silent language!!!!!! We humans are verbal/horses are silent observers and process what they see silently....
Bravo for a GREAT piece of video that should be required watching for ANYone that has anything to do with horses👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Yay! Long, in-depth videos! I love to watch paint dry and see the hues slowly change. So glad that you took her back to the very beginning - basic haltering. Glad I'm not the only one who noticed vision/focus in this horse. She looks to me like she's trying to bring your hand into focus by tilting her head. I mentioned it on Ryan Rose's channel that she reminds me of a friend's horse who had one of those feathery growths on the edge of his pupil, where it blocked his vision looking downward on one side. Also glad to hear you singing to the horse. It probably sounds silly, but I've often found singing calms nervous horses. Great job. She was really enjoying your company, and you will probably be able to do that in half the time tomorrow, and a quarter of the time the next day. She is a very nicely put together horse. If you can get her past this, and I'm sure you will, she is going to make a tough, sound working partner for many years.

She looks like she has a Mustang nose; is she a Mustang Paint? Wow, it's very nice 👌 to watch her training. Is she registered as Mustang? I can tell she has a gental demeanor. She's going to be a sweet ride.🎉

This is the second video I watched of this Horse.
After watching both videos, and me being around horses.
This horse has been mistreated earlier in his life.
That's why this horse doesn't trust no one!
I've been around horses that are jumpy or easily spooked.
That's because I've seen the way their owners treat them.
If you get treated a certain way, you too would have trouble trusting others!
This is a really good horse, it doesn't trust people because of something that happened in the past.
Animals and people are the ssme.
If you've been mistreated you're gonna have a hard time trusting anyone else!
    It's that simple.
You have to have patience with animals and people as well.

I learned so much about patience with the Parelli Program. Sometimes it is like watching paint drying. Nice job Jake.

Jake and Ryan explain things so much better to me than Parelli.

It took 32 minutes to catch her, day 1. And the owner wanted to just jump on and ride and was shocked she bit and bucked... So many holes, a grand canyon amount of knowledge and experience she needs before a saddle is even involved.
Anxious to hear how long it takes to catch her on the successive days.

Your patience is so important. This is a highly frightened horse and you gave her time. She needs to learn how to be a domesticated horse and you are helping to rehabilitate her.

@@peartreeranch I had absolutely zero experience with Horses. I never even road a horse. Let a lone train one. My wife and I adopted 4 wild mustangs, yeah it may not have been the smartest thing we’ve ever done🤷🏽‍♂️. Nevertheless our journey began. we tried to learn why the horse does what a horse does. Only ask a horse to do what it can handle and no more. (Ask a little , get a lot ).the approach and retreat with timing method. I see it’s the way you and Ryan train and it worked for us. Two of our horse are now under saddle and one probably within a month the last one is a special case. He’s an extremely scared horse, he going to take a bit longer to get ride of the fear. A appreciate videos like your 👍
