Congrats! Gold fever is the only "illness" I have found to be therapeutic and healing. The stress of the world disappears when you go back to basics and play with dirt. Gold is a nice reward, but being out in nature, seeing the real world and escaping the confines of humanity... That's heaven on Earth.

What is Gold Fever?
Gold Fever to me is like going on a hunt. You search for where it is, much like tracking an animal. You search for where it's best concentrated, much like looking for an animals habitat or its den. Though I can hunt for that trophy gold all year round.
It's also the feeling of being in nature, digging in the dirt feeling close to mother nature and finding something that no one has ever laid eyes on.
Congrats on the 1k. What an awesome accomplishment. My gold fever is what takes me and my pups deep into nature to enjoy the gifts of mother nature.

Having gold fever for me is amazing, this is my therapy my get away from any stress, when I looking for gold at the river I forget my problem relaxes me and have fun makes me happy to find gold and enjoy the beauty of nature

Searching for gold for me encompasses hope and history by walking in the footpaths of those before us who had that thirst of possibly stumbling upon a nice pocket of gold that could change their life. The feeling of being in nature, many times by yourself brings on a feeling of peace, a peace so many of us have forgotten is out there. Sometimes you get this feeling your walking with the spirits of miners long lost in the gold fields. At the end of a day weather you found a small 3 grain picker or a multi gram nugget your satisfied because you have just spent a day in the shadows of old time miners searching for that elusive metal called gold.

Gold fever for me, began by watching gold recovery shows, which has me with my 1st metal detector ever (4 days ago). I have been out poking around in the yard since I live 1 mile from an old fort in Ohio. I get it..I get the rush, the "Fever" that's something closely related to a concentrated feeling of "Hope" for me. 😊
I get that same rush of hope! It makes me feel alive!
I for sure have that gold fever i have only panned pay dirt so far but it is so exciting, i hope to go to cali and pan some soon
