If you process 100 buckets of pre-screened material, you have actually already produced 200 buckets. You have to add the overburden to get a value per ton.
Just had 4 days out in the bush! 2 days detecting for about 3Kg of scrap iron and 2 days of panning for 0.01 grams of gold fly poop. My mental health improved dramatically!
you're videos are fantastic. Zero chance of ever trying gold prospecting in my area...... but love your humor, the fact that your outdoors having fun, and doing what you enjoy. It shows in the vids and that makes them awesome dude!
Bro, the quality of your vids have improved dramatically since I first discovered your channel a few years back! Your editing and chatter is on point and super entertaining. Thank you 👌
On your next 100 bucket challenge Chris try this. You could easily floated a heavy bucket of pay dirt down or up stream to your river sluice if you are wading in deep enough water to float a thick piece of Styrofoam insulation. Let the water work for you and not your back, but you are a very strong man and much younger than me too. From a 72 years old not as strong prospector in the State of Washington, in the USA. I loved your 100 bucket challenge it was great. I watched all of the videos on it. Good job! Hope to see more challenges like this.
Awesome video here Chris. Definitely awesome video of the gold and the 100 bucket challenge. Crap, I work at a manufacturing plant that deals with a alot of sand that we use for making molds to pour melted iron into and it is ridiculous of the black (burnt) sand and some of the crystal type sand that is used to make our cores for multiple products and at the end of day somehow I end up getting all of this types of loose sand in my pockets after a year of me working at this plant. And I have thought about doing an actual test to see if there is any gold in this but I don't have the right equipment to test like fine gold recovery at the moment. It would be nice if I had the equipment to do so and run tests to see about how much gold is actually going through my jobs plant.
Amazing , you've taught me quite a bit, even though I'm all the way over here in Montana, but my area has a mostly or at least a lot of really fine gold . Thanks for taking us with you again , oh and I really think the no brand bucket company will surely sponsor you yet 😉
You know that the pan classifiers fit onto the top of a bucket. If you have a bucket full of water and you place the classifier with dirt onto it it washes the dirt and gold into the bucket. The dirt displaces the water as it falls into the bucket meaning you dont have to keep pouring water into the bucket. you can wash the dirt with the classifier until you fill the bucket. Try it. Its much more friendly on the knuckles than the contraption you have there. (by the way gloves are your friends either way.)
At least you have good ground. It took all day to get 0.1g last time out! Good luck, even though you don't need it. You're good at it. Good ground, equals good GOLD! Cheers Andy
Hello Chris, it's good to see that you finally got the gist of it. I offered you a similar sieve years ago.Let's hope ,You soon realise how faster this method is,regards George, get heaps.
Hello VG, well I guess that ya know about "Murphy's Law", right? Well I've pretty much lived that all my life so that I've realized that if Murphy hadn't gotten there first they'd certainly have called it "Randy's Law" by know!!!😊 Good stuff for sure. Keep up the good work and vids. Be safe and take care, "God Bless", sincerely, Randy. 😇🙏👊
I can't believe the nameless brand bucket company would not sponsor you ..... but the classifier fits nicely, that is a great bit of kit I reckon you might get over the stated amount actually lets say $3950 or atleast I hope so.
Correct. No motorised equipment. Hand powered only. Hence the use of shovels, pans, classifiers, yabbie pumps, rocker boxes. You can use a pump for water for sluice boxes of various kinds.
I was out panning / sluicing on the Skykomish river in WA, yesterday... what you got with 7 pans might be what we got with 40 buckets lol.. We probably got less.. We got with a single pan maybe 1 fines and 5 micros. You aussies have it so good there. One dude found a really nice flake like your pands are littered with but those are rare and fare between there. If I ever saw a pan like the one at 9:30 I think I would shit my pants.
Nice work. It’s funny how the geology changes. In my area, the creeks with granite bedrock and what I call “aquarium sand” ( the tiny bits of broken down granitic sands) basically have 0 gold in them. The other creeks that have normal basalt type bedrock host a lot of gold, anyway food for thought. Keen to see the 100 bucket results.
Here's a suggestion. Instead of dumping the larger washed pebbles, take a few buckets of them to Bunnings and exchange them for a new Bunnings bucket 🤣🤣
Still an improvement to be had and think you could be the fella to built it, or maybe I should wait till have time myself, hmm maybe you might ask for more information
Well your a better man than I am gunga din I think I’ve barely cracked 100 buckets total in my prospecting career (ya I don’t get to go much that’s why I watch you and gad zee lol) thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏼👊🏼
That basket is literally better than any of the Arbor classifiers. It’s deeper, meaning you can move more dirt faster. I should know…I have all of the Arbor classifiers and their gem sieve.. lol 😉👍
Oh the yellow diamonds, apparently the oldest in the world, I managed to pull a couple tiny clear yellow bits last time I was out I’ll have to do a test on em 🇦🇺👍
what is the SG? somewhere between 2.7 and 3.3? trying to work out grams per tonne - if you get an ounce and the SG=3 then that is 5g/t - pretty rich compared to modern gold mines in Australia that run anywhere from 0.8 to 2.5g g/t on average. mind you, 1g/t is one part per million...

It's so cool to see hard work, if you wanna know there are a Few prospectors out here in Arizona that keep their secrets, because it's hit & miss as you well know...Most that I've run across have delusions of grandure thinking they're gonna get rich detecting Sand filled washes (Lol!😂). It's been really hard to find anyone that has the patience to learn, but after seeing my specimen pieces & nuggets & gold even not being able to be out much, I have a friend or two that just love being out there...Not as out there as you goofballs are, just being out in nature. Out of 100 buckets? Id guess close to an ounce

16.2g.
31.000g
Great video Chris. Thanks for the shout out.
Really appreciate it. I can’t wait to see what you get after 100 buckets.
It's a good product mate
94 buckets from Bunnings to go, 94 buckets to go, classify down and sluice it around, 93 buckets from Bunnings to go
i will be humming this at work im sure.
