Some movies are so dumb when handling an overpowered ability like super speed. Even if Apocalypse could track his movements the stuff he use to trap quick silver's feet would have been moving in slow motion which means it would not trap him and it would have moved as slow as every thing else. Unless Apocalypse can activate his abilities and force that ability to move at light speed

Sasuke eyes could see lee super fast movements but his body could not react in time to do anything about it. Likewise even if Apocalypse predicted Quick silver's movements the stuff he use to trap quick silver's feet would be moving too slow to form around his feet

As much as we all love this Quicksilver, the depiction of his speed here cannot exist in the MCU simply because it was just too OP. Maybe it should be a bit faster than Age of Ultron's Pietro but never at this speed, this would easily become a huge plot hole in any MCU shows/movies that would include him, simply because he could solve whatever problem that they're having in a matter of seconds.
Remember how Fox left him out and made stupid excuses in the movies just to keep him off screen? Yeah, because they made way him too powerful that even them had to make an action just to prevent him from finishing any struggle that the characters were having.

He can outrun a bullet. There's multiple scenes that suggest it, like when Hawkeye shot the glass he was standing on and he was able to see the bullet moving past him.. That should tell you he can easily perceive them and react to them if he sees one coming. The cop that shot him was just a random bullet when he was distracted fighting the Ultron robots

Well, even if I agree the scene is bullshit, I think it's settled that Apocalypse is either moving at the same speed as him, or neglecting his powers. That's how he could catch him in the first place. HOWEVER, that to me is even more bullshit, because it means Apokaypse can do that and never did and he would be OP as fuck. The balance in the X-Men universe is completely destroyed.
That said, we have MCU for that. I really liked the scenes with this quicksilver throughout the movies. I don't expect any upcoming movie from sony to be good anyway, so I'll enjoy more scenes of this super OP character. But PLEASE don't carry this concept of his powers to the MCU now that he appeared in WandaVision

Not to mention stopping QS at that speed would have snapped his leg not just stopped him still. I also hope they utilise him properly in the MCU. I think they may even have to nerf him a tad.

What? No! I mean I LOVE this depiction, but it's impossible to make it work in a movie, it's SO OP. Even here they went to questionable reasons as why Apocalypse defeated him, and in the previous movies they simply cut him off without reason, leaving you wondering "where the hell is quicksilver? He would win this fight in 2 seconds". I love the character, but how can you make an interesting movie and conflict if one of the heroes can virtually stop time?

Nah, he can stay fast even though he stands in one spot. So even if that mud somehow manages to grab him, he would have ....loads of time to breake it. Not to mention that mud would take ages to grab him, which makes grabbing speedster impossible. Speedsters by nature seems to be impossible to dealth with.

Ok, people kept complaining about how MCU's QS can't outrun bullet while this Fox's QS can slap a God easily. Here's the logical comic nerd answer.
MCU's QS or Pietro is an ordinary human that survived Striker's experiments. So he's not used to has the power of godlike speed. He is a man made mutant. But yet, I can't even tell if he's the real deal of a mutant or not. That's why he's a lot slower than Fox's QS.
In the other hand, Fox's QS or Peter is a born mutant. He is a mutant by nature. He has that ability since he was born, I mean. It's not even a contest. He's a lot faster than Pietro duh. How else you can explain that logical storylines. It's totally different.

This is a Fox movie not a Marvel (technically Disney) movie. And the only reason Pietro died in Age of Ultron was because Fox (who held the right to certain X-Men characters) didn’t want to split the character between companies.
Not sure he will really be in anything past Wanda-Vision. He is simply too powerful. Name a Marvel villain shown so far he could not have beat? Even Thanos would have been no match for him. He could get the glove before he even snapped.
