Some says he uses earphones (listen to music), so he can focus more on being faster everytime (remember that, if he is really fast, the music he listens will be really slow since the music is on "normal time", so, slower the music, the faster he is going)

He’d still kill them. If in this universe, he doesn’t have any speed force, and he can break their neck, that means their brains are now mush. You get whiplash from a 30mph crash. Imagine going from 0 to 300mph in a second, and then back to 0 in another second. They are all dead. Period

Another part of that exploding school scene is Quicksilver had never even been to the Academy...how he knew where everyone was, in split seconds, is astonishing....nerves of steel. My favorite X-Men scene ever.

Some ppl have taken the time to calculate how fast he was moving during that Mansion rescue scene & it turns out he is capable of moving many times faster than the speed of light.
Yeah, there should literally be ZERO conflict in any of the movies featuring him if his abilities were realistically portrayed. He should be capable of turning anyone or anything he punches into dust.

Quicksilver from the latest xmen movies and Wanda vison was extremely entertaining and an awesome character! He definitely should be continued in the role!
As for the avengers quick silver, he was a good character as well. I honestly felt robbed of a character when he died so soon.
I'm just so mad he died. I wished he stayed alive, at least until the "avengers: end game". it would've been awesome to see quicksilver in end game fighting together with the other heroes to defeat thanos.

If he would have been a chick they would have kept him alive. End game was nothing but a girl power movie that was so painfully obviously against men(especially white men) that if you realize it, the movie is almost unwatchable.

X men quicksilver is the greatest. He is much faster as well. The mcu quicksilver is stupid as he could have just moved both the boy and Hawkeye out of the way. Everyone wouldve lived. He would have the strength to move them since he is moving at insane speed and E=MC2 proves he would be stronger too
Fortnite Videos if you watched the scene again you would see that he did actually move hawkeye and the boy out of the way, the problem is, while he was moving them he was getting shot in the back. and yes e=mc2 does mean that he’s stronger, but unfortunately that doesn’t mean hawkeye and the kid are stronger too. yes he could’ve chucked them out of the way, but then they would break every bone in their bodies when 1. they move at that speed and 2. hit/land at that speed.
The MCU one gets Ulisses Klaus bullet when he first meet with him , and when HawkEye shoot the glass he sees the bullet in slow motion. The problem with the scene of his death is that he didn’t mind about the bullets but about HawkEye and the boy. If he was in a point and saw the Quinn jet going in the direction of HawkEye and the kid to he get to them he must follow a straight line as the fastest way this means he passed through the bullets and got to the guys before the bullets and the Quinn jet got them. Anyway even getting caught he was faster than the bullets.
@@ricardomachado6792 Understand that a handgun bullet does not travel at the same speed as the bullets that came out of the quinjets'turret plus thicksilver's max speed was mach 4 and the time it took him to see the jet and realise that the kid and hawkeye were in danger was already too late cuz ultron started shooting. He had enough time to protect them with his body and he couldn't push them because at his speed they would explode against the wall.

Both fox and MCU are owned by the same company disney and they were planning on merging then anyway
They aren’t the same though, they are two different characters with similar abilities. Quicksilver is also much faster in X-Men, as he can stop bullets completely, while the Avengers one only slightly slows them down.

Love Scarlet Witch, but wish they could have kept Silver around for longer in MCU.
Your #1 scene was a perfect choice. It is actually my favorite movie scene of all time. Quicksilver went God mode rescuing everyone, showed some sass, and there were a couple of points where you could see him slip a little as the explosion had some quick progress.
Honestly I find quicksilver better than flash all the quicksilver scenes are funny and comedic and flash scenes are all serious and badass quicksilver just delivers that hint of comic relief

the funny thing is, in the comics it’s actually kinda the opposite. flash is a lot funnier and humbler while quicksilver is a lot more serious, gritty, and full of himself (not to say they don’t have their individual moments)

Quicksilver may essentially be weaker than Scarletwitch but they are strong in their own ways. Like Scarletwitch may be able to bend reality but Quicksilver is able to dodge nearly everything.
Evan Peters as Quicksilver is simply the best casting and character in ALL of the MCU. He still deserves a stand-alone movie, which could revitalize the X-Men franchise.

Rescue and quick thinking, I like it. Reminds me of Barry’s scene in Snyder’s justice league. Barry rescued everyone at the end and it was just as amazing as the apocalypse scene with quicksilver

I absolutely adore both versions of the character. Peter ate up every scene of DOFP he was in, and he completely carried Apocalypse. His treatment in Dark Phoneix was so unfair, he deserved way more screentime! Pietro however, god, he owns my heart. His dynamic with Wanda is so good that it made me sad we didn't get her in the X-Men movies and his sacrifice literally made me burst into tears in the theater. I haven't seen WandaVision yet, but I heard Evan Peters plays the MCU version and I've never been so thrilled to hear a spoiler!

I was never a mutant movies kid, I mostly watched the Avengers movies, so honestly I love them both. They each pull off Quicksilver elegantly, it's pretty cool.

Them killing off quicksilver was a terrible story choice, and they couldn’t have picked a lazier way to do it.
I agree with you, but the problem is that the story of Dark Phoenix can't work with Quicksilver. His power would make it too easy to fight Jean and the story would end as quickly as he runs. The Apocalypse guy for example is a vilain that is strong enough to beat Quicksilver, so it matches with a good story telling. The solution for Dark Phoenix would be to make Jean way more powerful, or make the story different enough to avoid Quicksilver to end it too soon.

If we all think together we all think that quicksilver is the most coolest character
I am not dissing Pietro's noble sacrifice in Age of Ultron. However, after a few years of wrangling lawyers so the two versions *could* happen, it also felt like a waste to kill him off in his first Avengers movie. His dying line, "I bet you didn't see that coming," was addressing the audience as much as Hawkeye. Yes, it cemented the awareness that as amazing as these characters are, yes, they also *can* die. Of course, in comics, nobody dies forever. It would be nice to later learn he was severely messed up and likely comatose but did, eventually recover. (He also *looked* truer to Quicksilver.) I say we NEED *this* version of Quicksilver restored to the MCU. (And, while not less heroic, perhaps his near-death has made him a little snarky and ill-6tempered, as in the comics. Hmmm)

You missed a point...Quicksilver also is extremely “strong” because of simple physics. As he moves at insane speed any contact he delivers becomes massively powerful because of the basic equation E=MC2: if speed (C) is huge even a tiny mass (M) delivers huge impact energy (E) as is clearly shown in the “finger poke scene” that turns into a knockout blow at normal speed (at 9:21)
I believe the formula you are looking for is for force (f=ma). E=mc^2 is meant to show that matter can be changed into energy and vice versa. I also don't think that quicksilver's footsteps would cause any earthquake. Since he is relatively light, he is more likely to be shot off into the sky after trying to accelerate. Negating gravity/reducing his own mass would only make each leap much greater. However, while increasing gravity/his own mass may be effective in keeping him more grounded, he would need to produce much more force with each step in order to accelerate. That is where our earthquake issues would start. This all goes without mentioning the fact that quicksilver apparently has the ability to phase through air molecules which would otherwise create sonic booms and intense heat that would incapacitate alot of people. @Jo Fe Maybe he's just so fast, that he moves away all the molecules in his path without us even noticing.
This is why I prefer him over flash and day. Unlike the speedforce he doesn't have anything protecting him. He would have killed himself years ago running as fast as he does from just the wind pressure peeling his skin from his bones. Done properly this dude body is DENSE AF and like all mutant abilities that get stronger his body gets harder as his speed increases through the years.

Most awesome scene - flexing his arms to prepare for saving all in sweet dreams scene. Guy knows wht he is good at and wht is to be done with a confident smile.

I need to say this character is beyond it's power. The story that's in background, his acting in x men is above all.
evans quicksilver just has a better cinematic quality to it because to quicksilver hes the star of his own action movie where he can orient the props actors and effects in almost any way he desires. so his version takes every opportunity to do so.
Quicksilver doesn't 'slow down time', that slowed down state is just how he sees the world. He reacts lighting fast.
The mansion rescue was my favorite! Super epic for a super hero!

Hugh was Wolverine, Michael as Magneto and Quicksilver were the highlights for me from all these xmen films over the years.
