Jaws was the first film that he did that set him apart from the others not discounting his previous ones. And yes I know his music goes way back (jazz, orchestral). I remember seeing Towering Inferno and I seem to remember enjoying the music, and I was young. Sugarland was unique, first collaboration with Spielberg, but for me, Jaws made him a household name. From then on he kept out doing himself.
John Williams score is one of the films saving graces his score definitely brought back one of the best aspects of the first movie
I think jaws 2 ost is even better than the original. He has outdone himself
John Williams is the greatest composer of all time

Awesome! Thank you! Especially loved the opening track with the divers discovering The Orca. Magic. 💯👏🏽
The omnikenesis of the choreography of melody in memory.
CAPOLAVORO MERITAVA L'OSCAR JOHN WILLIAMS GENIUS
Soundtrack Jaws 2 INTRADA 2CD WONDERFUL
John Williams' score for Jaws 2 is on par with the first film. Bringing him and Roy Scheider back made it the only good Jaws sequel.
Williams' score for 'Jaws 2' is fat superior to the original, yet orchestras in concert halls throughout the world never play a note from it.
gee, I wonder why?
For my biggest fan in the world:
Martin Stempel!
Enjoy it...
