I played this build in pve for a long time. Its definitely fun to just run up and chop suey your enemies. The issue i ran into was with bosses. Its just too lightweight and you can get squashed like a bug lol.

If you do a Morgott vid, I recommend you to add carian slicer, carian thrust and the big hammer spell. Also wear the mushroom helmet cause it ressembles the omen's horn.
That is a good idea, an alternative would be to quick-swap/having the other weapons and applying a resin (or the incantation) to the respective weapons (The giantcrusher, the erdsteel dagger, and the lordsworn straightsword (and I was told the treespear he uses when you fight him in the capital)).

recently i've started doing a build which started off as a meme idea but then developed into an actually good build, pumpkin head build, pumpkin helm, Duelist Greaves and gravekeeper cloak, throw in some gauntlets for more defense, chainlink flail +24 with barbaric roar, since the heavy attacks do a 3 hit combo and have hyperarmor without even charging the strike, i literally hyperarmored through storm stomp with 28 poise while with this, on my off hand i had a highland axe which boosts roars, a godfrey icon, axe talisman, and roar medalion,overall i had a fun time tanking through enemy hits, and if they had low poise they got hit by the entire combo, maybe i could swap out a different talisman for the rotten winged insignia for higher damage but at the end of the day i'm having fun as shit running this build
The best builds are the goofy ones, one of my favorite is called the clown, I wear jarrens jester armor, with a goofy face. I rocked the anchor and the golden horn, that build had the funniest invasions
Something valuable to know when using weapons that deals no poise damage, most L1 and all R2 jump attacks will break all passive poise, it will stagger and you get to pressure them

I could be very wrong but at 5:11 it looked like they were bout to use a flask a fraction of a second before the they died, if it wasn't for that chip damage, the fight coulda gone alot different lmao. Rivers of blood and tryna use a flask when close to dead during a duel, absolutely maidenless behavior.
i'm new to elden ring so i don't really understand why rivers of blood seems to be such a problem for people? why is everyone so mad at players using it? and what's wrong with healing during pvp? am i missing something here
@@yikesises rivers of blood is super fast, does very high damage and has super far range. It takes no skill to use and bleed is overpowered in general. Flasks are banned because the host always has more flasks and it makes the duel too long
If you really want to nail the Black Blade build, I'd recommend equipping Maliketh's remembrance items as well. Then you have the entire Black Knife moveset; it just takes a little swapping.
I actually made a Morgott build that could use all of his weapons, you'll basically have to run minimum requirements on all the weapons to run 60 vigor AND use a soreseal but it is possible to run a cosplay accurate morgott build in the 125 level range (you might have to go a bit over 125 though)
Try a prelate build, lotta fun and big boi. Infuse weapon with fire, buff with flame grant me STR and fire physic and physic that restores hp when low health. Shard of alexandr, bull goat talisman, erdtree favor +2, and crimson amber medallion +2 57 endurance, 60 vigor, 15 faith, and 30str, you can put the rest wherever. You can also rock bull goat gauntlets and greaves. 121 poise, 39% resistances, effectively 2,721hp, 1123 ar, and a shit ton of bleed resistance. With the prelate charge, if you tap the l2 once then entire attack strings combos if their poise is low enough, that’s basically 1.8k damage. Trust me, this build is fun af. You are literally the biggest possible boi ever, a smough cosplay build from ds3 basically but better. Works in invasions too. I’ve literally hit traded entire squads and came out on top.
I used a similar build with the shard of Alexander an the holy shrouding cracked tear to maximize the weapon art damage in the arena. Excellent at striking unaware enemies for half of their hp.
The blue dancer talisman may not be helping it has no bonus to AR after 30 weight. Your character is at 30.4 weight, whether that counts as over I'm not sure, as I haven't tested but I imagine it would.
This weapon upsets me in PVP. You can roll through the attack but you still take the 10% hp debuff and 8% damage over time. Even though I can appreciate the design of this build I can't really support it. You can technically win against any player by just spamming the skill over and over again until they die. Super hard to fully dodge unless you are fast rolling from lower equipment load. PS: Mind you, using Darkness and then the skill to catch opponents off guard is truly commendable. My issue is with the weapon itself, because you conducted yourself as maidenfully as you could in these fights. :)
the debuff going through rolls is actually not by design of the weapon, its more of a problem with the state of elden ring's netcode basically, if you dont have a perfect connection with your opponent there's gonna be a little bit of desync between the two of you, if you make an attack that should connect but your opponent dodges it on their end, you'll get a false hit confirm, you'll know this happens when the hit sound plays and your opponent gets an on-hit particle effect (easiest to see with vibrant effects like bloodflame) but they take no damage this is fine on its own, but for some reason in elden ring false hit confirms apply status effects, with the blade of death this includes the health sap and you can achieve the same thing with maliketh's black blade if your opponent tries to roll through it towards you this becomes an even bigger problem with standard status effects, bleed can apply on false hit confirms but if your bleed meter gets filled on a false hit confirm, you i-frame the bleed damage and take nothing, this effectively means if you land every hit *except* the last one on your opponent with a bleed weapon, you get no bleed damage and have to start from the beginning on their bleed resistance, likewise you could false-hit dodge every hit from an opponent and get actually hit on the last strike for your bleed resistance and take bleed damage despite only being hit once this is also what makes rivers of blood such a problem, with the WA's range and speed you'll basically always get false-hit even if you dodge it, and if you get bled even without taking the bleed damage it will stagger you and give the ROB user free hits on you also causes problems with dual sword of st trina users, if you get afflicted with sleep by dual st trina swords the opponent can hit you out of the sleep with both swords to build up 2 hits worth of sleep and by the time they do a follow up, dodging will cause a false hit confirm that gives you 4 hits worth of sleep, it is therefor possible to stunlock someone with st trina swords if their focus is low enough and your sleep buildup is high enough there's also plenty to be said about madness and scarlet rot building up but i think you get the idea, hope fromsoft fixes this at some point

But I know understand the greatest problem with bleed. In other games the bleed proc didn't stagger, this is why in Elden Ring it is now such a deadly status effect. I also think that the reason it hasn't been fixed stems from "code spaghetti". Basically they might know how to fix it, but not how to fix it "and" not break the entire game while doing it so lmao
@@calebheisserer5391 i have never had maliketh apply the debuff when i rolled through it, you might've gotten clipped by the AOE of his sword projectiles you can also test it regardless with the black knife by fighting a humanoid enemy (easiest would be to go down to nights sacred ground and fight the silver tears), spam the weapon art and watch what happens when they roll through it

What level are you? I try to keep all of my characters at level 120 for pvp reasons. Any higher and I feel like defense and HP are even more useless.
