Dude, I felt the exact same way as soon as I got my Jazzmaster Baritone! It's by far my favorite guitar I've ever played and it always inspires me! Btw, if you haven't heard the band Loathe, you need to do that right now. They play these guitars and their music is amazing!
Ray I love your vids man if I'm ever down or need I pick me up I come to your Chanel, your musical ability all ways cheers me up along with your smile that jams along with metal, play on brotha and keep up the work 🤘🤘🤘
I remember discovering this guitar and wanting it so bad. I walk into the music store and ask them if they know anything about it...he snaps his head around and goes" oh yeah we have one right here" its literally on a guitar stand 5 feet away. So i got friggin lucky... And then Just 2 days ago i found the all black standard strat and now have a little brother that lives with my Bari... Squier knocked it out of the park. I dont care if its less lovable then fenders, they are amazing guitars.
That guitar looks very nice!!! Can you maybe do a video about how you produce your tunes. I am having alot of trouble to get from the single guitar tone to a full mix sounding awesome. Any help would be nice :)
This is the video to show people that you can in fact play metal on single coils. Great as always Ray. It’s insane how, if I came into a bunch of $$$ how similar our guitar collection would be. Antiqua for me.
When it comes to riffs and shredding, I think I'm the same way. I like making catchy riffs and harmonic melodies. I do have shred guitars but i don't find it really fun to play fast. I dig that jazz master BTW, kinda thinking on getting one myself. I love "classic" guitars that are more suited to a metal head 😂
A couple of months ago I bought one for a very cheap price. Perks of working in a guitarstore. And now seeing the price of it going up a ton I might be considering selling it. But it’s a beast for sure.
@@xanderraymondcharles thank you for constantly making my day when you upload. You can really see the joy when you do your videos and thats better then anything else.
Can’t do Patreon right now so kinda a PM in the comments, hope that’s ok, sad day for me, I had to sell my only guitar today (the Silvertone with the EMG81) I’ll get through these times and hope to find something cool as my next guitar. Since I can’t play right now I’ll just be eating up all the content so keep it up brotha.
Yup, just watching random stuff in your back catalog some more. The Jazzmaster looks awesome, and the stuff at the end about superstrats... damn I get it. I'm not a shredder at all - rhythm guitar (Rammstein, Metallica, Pantera in particular) is what really grabbed me about guitar in the first place. I've had a few superstrats from ESP and Ibanez, and I've always felt like I'm not worthy of them because I just don't do solos or any of the fancy lead stuff. Even my beloved Ibanez RGD 7 string... I feel like I'm not quite worthy of it, even if I'm literally using the 7th string to bring the br00talz. My Strat, on the other hand... it isn't judging me lol.
Sucka great guitar. You lucky to have two of them. Such rare gems, even if they a Squier! So cool for going low on these guitars with those jangle-y sounding pickups. Very gnarly at hi-gain settings
I'm tempted to start using p90's or jazzmaster pickups because of this guitar, sounds a lot more clear and crispy than the regular humbucker used for this type of music.
Oh no! Im 10 mins late. But btw, thats a very nice guitar like the color too. And of course a very nice demo/video as well. Keep doing this kind of vids cause I love it. 🤘
Hello all, I picked up this beauty and put on new strings (90-20) Unfortunately I can‘t intonate the 3 lowest strings. I know a lot of people use this string gauges so can somebody tell me what I am doing wrong? The Saddles are all the way to the bridge and I‘m still 25 Cents to high?
Axe jealously level reaching critical mass. I freaking almost got one of these back when first announced, and then I had to sit on my hands due to some personal stuff happening at the time. The offset shape is my sickness. I have two modded Affinity Jazzmasters, both the white and black one. Also a silver sparkle Squier Vintage Modified Jaguar HB Bass. The fact that those are actually baritone scaled Jazzmaster pickups, and not P90's like my newer Carbronita Tele?!!! Just nasty. "You have chosen, wisely." LMAO!

hey thank you so much! means a lot
I was thinking myself, that's one happy lil demon shredding away on their Grail.
dude your energy and vibes are SO infectious. you're always so happy and positive even through your worst times and as fans, we all appreciate it 🤍

I just got out of basic training and boy... what a way to be reintroduced to the world!🤘🏼some face melting metal to wake me up right?!🤯

Why did they stop producing this guitar?
I'm a drummer but I am absolutely loving the content mate, keep it up from the UK!
hey same here! seems he's popular with UK drummers
Same here
Great content Ray! Good sounds too 🤘🔥
Ya didn’t find em but their sick guitars, bass vi is also 30” long. Try a squier classic vibe bass vi in black.
Yeah not a bad choice if you’re just looking for a black guitar, long scale length, and considering swapping out pickups anyway!

Not big one jazzmaster guitars (except the jim roots) but I really like jaguar basses. I wish I could get my hands on a troy sanders jaguar.
I love the thoughts you said about writing riifs I can totally relate

Nice video, subbed! Btw this link in your description seems to be dead now: 'Want to learn music theory for metal?'
I really missed out on this one...I remember playing one in a guitar center back in maybe 2016 and I believe it was around $400. 😂
What strings you using to play drop F? Love this video and I love my bari’s too!
That smile will haunt my worst nightmares....in a good way lol
Jesus that thing sounds amazing
Not too rattley and nice and crisp
🔥🤘🏽😈🤘🏽🔥 super solid guitar, I may have to invest in a baritone for my next build
Holy Moses that sounds so good.
They both sound so different but it’s a good different! I like this one way more tho!!! Love the videos ray!!!!
Can you tune it e to e and play it like a bass vi, without any modifications on the bridge, tuners, etc.?
It would be great if I had this review when the first was in circulation 2 years ago

Been looking for a baritone squier not the cabronita but this one is running about 1000 on reverb
