high end Squier are just middle range Fender but 2-300 cheaper , got a Daphne Blue Laurel Jaguar Squier and was definitely stunned by how it sounded and how it is build.

Hello all, I picked up this beauty and put on new strings (90-20) Unfortunately I can‘t intonate the 3 lowest strings. I know a lot of people use this string gauges so can somebody tell me what I am doing wrong? The Saddles are all the way to the bridge and I‘m still 25 Cents to high?
They are sick guitars. And cos of the long scale can go really low. I chucked on a set of 22-105 strings (a combination of bass and guitar strings) and tuned it down to C1. And those pickups are so unique sounding.
I’m so lucky. I picked up the black one right at the end of 2018 before all the hype. I had seen loathe use them and I just had to have one. Paid 600$ CAD for it and I’m never getting rid of it.

Glad you coaxed a decent tone out of this beast.. I'm still waiting for the humbuckie boys tho lol if you put them in this beast it would really rip and have the punchiest tone. I get if you want to keep it stock but at the same time it's a squier dude not a 50s strat lol make it a real ripper...
Don't turn your nose up at Squier guitars, over the years they have released some amazing guitars, some even better than there American counterparts....
I don't know, my dude. I've played one of these a few times at like GC and Sweetwater, and while I like the way they feel and look, I can't get over the tone. Everyone talks about how amazing the stock pickups sound in it, but I think they sound like a bag of smashed assholes. But take that with a grain of salt, I don't fuck with single coils or p90s 🤣
These guitars are super sick, I'm so glad I was able to buy one back after I regretted selling it
