    Thank you! Finally a decent solution to the appalling RC4WD body mount system. Nicely engineered, well done sir!

      I was so mad when i realized how i was supposed to access the battery!

    Thank you for this so cool design! I will print them and finally finish with using little screws that I lose all time in the trail.

      I thought the way they designed this to have screws was the dumbest thing in the world. I mean its not like you need much access to the BATTERY or anything. These are a massive help.

    I just purchased RC4WD's new TF2 Toyota '82 SR5 Hilux and unscrewing the body to access the battery is a pain. I really like your body mounting system. I don't have access to a printer and now that Shapeways is gone, where can I buy Ampro parts?

      Great question. Email me and lets figure out what to do based on your location. amproengineering@gmail.com

      @@AMPROEngineering Thanks so much however I've gone ahead and purchased your stl files from YouMagine and plan use one of the remaining printing services to make the parts. I really should just go ahead and buy a printer but I keep procrastinating. I want a Bamboo Labs but that's a lot of money to drop all at once. lol Anyway, I really enjoy your videos. Thanks for the reply and keep up the good work. 👍

    I have a problem with my HG P407 body where the outside/underside of the body is getting tighter in width from the cab to the bed. Is this regular with the tamiya bruiser bodies? This circumstance makes it pretty hard to fit the body on a chassis with side panels. 🤔

    • @AMPROEngineering

      On my bruiser, the body is also hard to fit. The rails always get hung up. I think it is a bit worse on the 407.

    will this mount work with the RC4WD 4runner?

    • @AMPROEngineering
      @AMPROEngineering  ปีที่แล้ว

      I need to test that one. I just recently got that body and I think it is different from the mounting on the 87 Hilux that I already did. It is on my list. I should get to it in a week.

      @@AMPROEngineering Nice, I know the 4runner and Mpjave mount the same but I think the 4runner body is a bit wider.

    I have a question for you or anyone that can comment with the needed answer. Im curating a collection of vintage cars for a museum exhibit. I myself remember the Turbo Hopper as the big deal but this is only for that generation and "toy-grade" cars. I want to start with the 70s and ONLY cars that would be instantly recognized at a glance. Im not looking for the fastest or best racer, just cars that will make you say "oh wow, I remember that".

    • @AMPROEngineering
      @AMPROEngineering  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Turbo Hopper, Tyco Bandit and Nikko Turbo panther were staples of the golden age of RC. For the higher end stuff, man the list would be long. The Sand Scorcher, Hilux, Grasshopper and RC10 to start.
