As an introvert myself, I can tell you, it’s 1000% true out of 100.
I love to socialize but because I suck at it it’s tiring. And I’m a great listener (besides in school) and I remember the little things about my crush.
And it may seem like we don’t like our crush, but we absolutely do.
It’s twice as hard to talk to them then a normal person, which is saying a lot.
But if we could just break that shell, and come out of our bubble, and be our true selves, we (at least me) would be so good at flirting and hopefully, my crush would like me back. But I know why my crush doesn’t like me, it’s cuz I’m quiet, shy, and can’t look at him in the eyes for more than 1 and a half seconds or I think I might die of emotions. Good emotions. And stupid shyness. And do I need to explain how outgoing we can be on text? Just look at how large this comment is🤭sorry, but I hope it was helpful.

As introverts we take a bit to show our true colors and emotions to others we don't know. If you basically screw up during the start of building trust with them, they will cut to off quickly and completely. Once you have broken trust, or hurt them you'll probably never regain their friendship, unless you get a chance to meet them later... Like years, and character building later.

I'm a total introvert and this does point out a lot on us Introverts. They basically nail me on the head if anyone has a crush on me.
My crush meets so many of these points!!! He once confessed to a common friend of ours that he finds me so pretty but he can't talk to me at all. I found it so sweet, and since I felt the same way, I talked to him and became sorta friends. However, for a couple of months, he has been sometimes distant sometimes gentle, and I was confused... On the other side, that same common friend let me know how he's never had a girlfriend, plus he only hangs around with boys, so it's terribly difficult for him to interact. Then he sent me a heart warming text for my birthday, and that's when I confirmed I have a crush on him. So, I'm having a late bday party next Tuesday and I plan to sort of... Confess?! I hope it goes well cuz I'm so shy myself - I would have never guessed there's someone shier than me. But I'll pluck up the courage and give it a try!!!!!!! *fingers crossed! *

I'm usually an introvert girl but I will describe myself better as an ambivert (even though some psychologist don't accetp that term). Whenever its means to out myself out, my introvert side just comes with me.
I've had struggled to talk to people I have a crush on but during this quarantine I tried to do it. I've just been talking with a guy that seemed interested in what I thought and that surprised me, but now that moment I tried to do things I don't normally do (initiate conversation or talk a little bit more) he just stopped and seems distant. Whatever path this goes into, I know that if he just disappeares, God has something better for me.
But man, it's so uncomfortable doing things that my natural introverted self is not used to.😅😅
Most of these are me for sure. I don't usually make the first move, but a few times I did when it was my now girlfriend before the pandemic. Withdrawn from most, quiet, soft spoken, reserved, I've heard it all. I always listen to one of my closest friends and remain in deep thought over each detail. Wish I could text or face time/facebook my girlfriend. All we can do is straight up call. But I feel relaxed talking to her. It's easy for me to be lost in thought. Not into small talk with most. But we both get a few laughs in every time. And yes, she knows I'm not the most talkative.
Maybe you can determine who made the first move. In February, she asks me if I'm seeing anyone and wants to go steady. I panicked while trying to gently rest my hand on her knee, but still ended up exchanging numbers. A few weeks later, I feel like it's the right move and want to ask her. Then the worst happened, no one was going anywhere. I remembered I still had her number saved. So after finally working up the courage to do it, one day I finally get in touch with her and ask her. She said yes, but you probably knew that.
One last thing, good choice on the girl's hair style. It reminds me of hers.

Relatable AF- I was so outgoing through texts haha and I remember so much which probably helped me excel in school.. also had a journal where I often reflected and wanted to grow. Outgoing guys used to attract me haha but now I prefer someone whose partial of both!

That point where your extroverted due to enjoying being around people, but you keep crushing on introverts and don’t apparently know how to naturally go about with a conversation not starting with small talk, so you get questioned as introvert when the social anxiety kicks in and you run away from people. Which is also why you spend so much time enjoying your own company in the first place.
