It’s missing one. 1. Are you a man? There’s way too many chicks with d!cks & guys with tits & if that’s something you’re not into then it needs to be clarified!
1. Who is someone you really admire? 2. What kind of vacation do you like? 3. What book do you think everybody should read? 4. What do you love the most about what you do? 5. What is something you love doing but you do not do it enough? 6. What do you suck at? 7. Which movie are you embarrassed of liking? 8. How would your closest friends describe you? You're welcome ✌.
Just be yaself Karl. Be a nice and polite man. Make sure you truly love yourself, and you’ll easily get a date. It’s alot of single women sin the world and we’re waiting to meet a good man. DONT JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER. 😉 (some have told me i have a mean look, but I never realize it. And I would love for a guy to approach me and have a nice date)
Good open ended questions. Another question (along with "how would your closest friends describe you") is "how would your siblings and parents describe your role in the family"? This question allows you to see who you are in interpersonal dynamic, ie someone is a caretaker, mediator, the spoiled one, the responsible one, etc... Another... "in past relationships, how did you know you were loved?" Speaks to potential love languages and what someone values in a loving relationship. These questions might be for dates 2,3,4,5.
When you ask those don't go from one to the other, because it would seem you are drilling this person while you came prepared for the test. Some of the questions are better for introverts and others for extraverts. You can either ask a question that the person would probably already have the answer to or challenge the person out of their comfort zone. It depends if you want to break the ice and maybe make that person comfortable to open up about other things or if you want to challenge the person to give you an answer they'd need to think about a bit. The risk is the person might get anxious about not being perceived as either interesting enough or intelligent enough.
I love how much latitude you give to people. It isn't this person is boring or a loser, it is they don't have the same standard of passion that I do. So gracious. Lovely. 💙
For question number one my answer would be Matthew Hussey! Why? He inspires, guides, opens new worlds of possibilities, his kindness, shares stimulating information, he's charismatic, helps others discover their full potential and introduces his listeners to many other wonderful people. I have a great appreciation for your work obviously. lol! Thank you! 🙏🥰😇
these are also great for catching up with friends and family you haven't seen in a while or maybe a distant relative you haven't met yet. these are great ways to just connect with people and get to know each other too
I can't believe I'm the first person writing a comment on my favorite coach!!!. I am a fresh broken heart...and I feel like I'm melting off pain... Mathew's videos helped me to go through a crucial pain. I do not know...his talk sounds so grounded, healthy... equilibrated. It makes more sense.... without sliding in so much drama...
As someone who needs to be more flirtatious on a un first date and less "listening to guys talking about themselves" (or worst their EX!) I'm a afraid I would so be in my head and I will have the impression of interviewing for a job rather than connecting. I have a date tonight and I'll probably go with: "What do you love the most about what you do?" and "What do you suck at?"
This is great - also gave me a bit of anxiety because I realised how much I don’t have in my life outside of running a business and being a full time solo parent. I will use this to work on myself first
But not knowing what you want to do can sometimes be because you’ve never had an opportunity to do something that inspires you. Life can confuse you and you lose yourself x
Oh my goodness! Just looking at your pictures will make anyone who's having a bad day happy. It's obvious you must be very special, what am amazing smile. How are you doing today? Love to hear from you
I didn't know what I wanted to do until my late 20s. Some of the most interesting people still haven't figured out what their passion is by their 40s. Most people have jobs, not careers, and find their passions outside of work.
I started asking 'What's the craziest thing you've ever done'? and it's so interesting what everyone comes up with. Sometimes just because defines 'crazy' differently. It can be reckless, it can be weird, it can be fun... Everyone usually thinks a lot about that one, but it always gave me a glimpse of a 'spark' in a way. Your list is quite interesting, it should keep the conversation going for a while for sure :)
I agree with everything except for the job thing. Many people in the population have no clue what they want to do with their life nor do they care as long as they're having fun and happy. And the moment you take Your passion and turn it into a job, it's not a passion anymore. You just ruined what Was enjoyable to you. Not to mention not everybody's goal in life is to accomplish one thing after another. Some people just want to be with family and friends and make memories.
I love these questions. I’ve got a team building event coming up that I might use some of them as ice breakers for. The answer for the book is Team of Rivals by Doris Kearns Goodwin. Talks about how Lincoln built his cabinet with people of differing views and how that gave him diverse information to create policy from.
I had to rewatch this video today as I used the question about the book and it made the other person say “ oh what a deep question “ so now I’ll put all others in practice. Thank you Matthew, you are incredible and I’ve learned so much from your videos.❤
Hey Kasia, your absolutely gorgeous.I'm 38 been divorced 2years.You would be amazed at the level of men that want to date experienced, mature and older women. My one piece of advise is to not limit yourself and just be open with sincere good intentions.Be confident and true to what you truly need.Good luck girl.
What I really dislike about this questions is how you can easy into them and not make the other person feel lime you are interrogating them. Curiousity about what you are asking is a must but how you transition the conversiation into asking them is a big question mark
This video provides great advice for first dates, with eight questions to help get beneath the surface and build a connection. The last question is the most revealing and is sure to make a date more interesting and likable.
Great questions. I would add one more about their vision for their future, once I know them a bit better. I have been burned by discovering later in the relationship that their dreams are so different from mine that it would mean we couldn't be together unless one person gave up their dream.
I love these. I have often had light hearted “20 questions” on dates. I like books/movies/historical figures + why kinds of back and forth questions. A night will pass so quickly, and many tangent conversations can be had. It’s a great litmus test of compatibility too. ❤️❤️
This is perfect I am going on a first date in two days! I went to dinner with my best friend & our server was super sweet & funny so I wrote my number on the check & he texted me! Hopefully things go well:))
I love these questions! They help to dive deeper and find out more about a person by their responses. I’d love to see more of these kinds of videos. Thank you!
Going on a first date for the first time in forever. Thanks a ton for this. Also, just bought the audiobook of 4000 weeks. Thanks for that book suggestion Matthew!
Great questions when you meet someone (new) anyway. So I'll remember it as PAVBWASED (People you Admire, Vacation, Books, Work, Activity, Suck, Embaarrassed, Describe). Thanks, Matthew
That point about how to respond to someone who doesn’t love what theyre doing is gold. As a driven person who is always eager to learn, it is absolutely terrifying to me to date someone who has no passion for life or learning.
This is so fun!! I really enjoyed Matthew's answers, but I also did it journaling with myself, and it was pretty fun to get to know myself a bit too! 😄
Oh my God Mathew!!! Where have you been all my life??? How come I did not see you before! I love your advices, I am just watching some old videos but I love it!
I suck at building things! 😂 I love Mr. Rogers! People thought I was weird for this!!! Love him 💖 my niece discovered this on my Spotify 😂 Lil Wayne “ Got Money” My Type Saweetie. I literally had to give the explanation it’s because I use to manifest money 😂 i was embarrassed and I don’t really get embarrassed, but she thought I was cool! For whatever reason! She’s not a hugger and all she wanted to do is be around me and actually gave me a hug! 🥰Fun video!!!
Question number 1: Matthew Hussey.Because he has shown me true connections are made by being open and willing to give, expecting nothing in return but what the other person is ready to give back.
If you're getting ready/on a date and stealthily looking for the questions: 1) Who is someone you really admire? Why? 2) What kind of vacations do you love the most? (If you had to spend a year in a different country, where would you choose?) 3) What book do you think everybody should read? 4) What do you love the most about what you do? (Is there something else that you're working towards that you would love to do?) 5) What is something you love doing but don't do enough? 6) What do you suck at? 7) What is a film that you are embarrassed you like so much? (If I looked at your top 25 most played songs, what would be the most embarrassing one among them?) 8) How would your closest friends describe you? Also don't forget to actually watch the whole video and give Matthew those views for helping us!

I think that these questions are amazing, especially because I need a connection to the person before anything else, but I am finding people that sit with me at a bar to have a talk and drink and they are empty, they respond almost in a monosyllabic way... Of course I cannot connect to them, but these cases are piling up... Why dont they like to think? I find it scary that so many seem zombies like this 😮
Very smart and fun questions, Matt, thank you! I enjoy your attitude and the style of offering the tips you came up with! Very suitable for my type of mind:)

Many of these are great job interview questions also. (Though there are some that would be bad - even illegal as they are - so be careful>. Or repurpose and rephrase it).
Thank you so much, Matthew! This video came at the perfect time, right before a first date I'm having this evening. Can't wait to try out these questions :)
Question - I have men constantly making off the cuff comments that suggest interest in me. I try to engage them, but they never, ever follow up on the first comment and they eventually leave. I’m hardly going to grab them by the arm and ask why did you act interested and not even begin a conversation with me? I have smiled at them or said something, but it seems they get stuck after the first remark. How should I deal with this? It happens at least a couple of times a week and it’s incredibly frustrating!

I’m back on the dating scene, being 40, and it scares me to death! Love this vid M and timing was perfect! 💛🤗 thank you for all YOUR work!!
Kasia Kwiatkowska. Ur words are so soothing.
Good luck wishing the best in your journey of finding true love 💯❤️🔥👏

Great questions ideas, Matt! I am all covered for a date now. Loved that you responded to all of the questions! Lots of love to Audrey!

One that I use: "If you won the lottery, what would you spend the money on?." Very revealing.
I love these kind of practical tips I can use on a date, thank you! It’s good to have things in mind especially when you’re nervous. Keep them coming.
Really good topics, and glad to hear someone who can speak without saying "You know", five times per sentence!
This is perfect I am going on a first date in two days! I went to dinner with my best friend & our server was super sweet & funny so I wrote my number on the check & he texted me! Hopefully things go well:))
Good luck!☘️
Good luck!
After watching this video I feel fully prepared for my first job interview and I will surely get the job.

I like acronyms too
Thank you so much. These really are brilliant questions
Love each question Matt. Thanks for the inspiration.
Absolutely Fantabulous video as always Matthew 😁
My experiences in the world of disability dating are slightly different but great questions 👌
That point about how to respond to someone who doesn’t love what theyre doing is gold. As a driven person who is always eager to learn, it is absolutely terrifying to me to date someone who has no passion for life or learning.

I agree, loved this!
Finally a video which suggests TRULY revealing questions

If you're getting ready/on a date and stealthily looking for the questions:

5) What is something you love doing but don't do enough?
6) What do you suck at?
7) What is a film that you are embarrassed you like so much? (If I looked at your top 25 most played songs, what would be the most embarrassing one among them?)
8) How would your closest friends describe you?
Also don't forget to actually watch the whole video and give Matthew those views for helping us!

I do really like the number one question. ty for the tip. your answer is adorable! Also like #6 and #8
Happy Sunday Matt, and everyone in the comments!
These are just good questions for a lot of situations. I could tweak them for friends or networking as well. A great video!!
One of the things I live about Matthew is that much of his dating advice is applicable to all kids of situations.
Brilliant! Thank you for these! 🙌❤️
These questions were inspiring to me. Thank you!
We love that you love Steve ❤️ that's Australians enthusiastic and optimistic
These are great questions! I'd like to do these with my family and friends as well!
I love vacation chat. I definitely want to know if we're compatible in that area.
I find it scary that so many seem zombies like this 😮
What a fun idea! It breaks the initial awkwardness.
Very smart and fun questions, Matt, thank you! I enjoy your attitude and the style of offering the tips you came up with! Very suitable for my type of mind:)
These are really great questions! I am taking notes.😊
Love this video and topic! Thank you 😂🎉
Can we just be true to ourselves if they don't like who we are then don't, I want to be with someone I can comfortable with
This is more about how to get to know them better, if they don't bother to ask you the same things then you're getting to know them very well and in that case it depends on what you want.
Deep Blue Sea is my movie!
Literally going on a first date today so perfect timing! I’m taking notes over here😅 ✍️
These are a great roster of questions I'd like to keep in my back pocket the next time I go on a date! A question I've enjoyed asking is 'what do you consider to be your red flags?'
Definitely using these questions on my next date. Lots of fun!😁
Come to Japan, Matthew! Thank you always for insightful videos.
I was looking for excatly this by you, can you help me with more questions to ask ? or even activites youd recommend with a partner? thank you so much Matt! legend
I really appreciate your expertise!!
Great video and great questions! Thanks!
Awesome video I absolutely loved it! I have a question: How can I build a relationship with someone leaving in a month to join the Navy? I've only been on one date with this guy, and we're about to have our second one. I want to build a connection with him, but I want to know if it's possible since he's leaving soon. I'm still trying to figure out how many more opportunities I'll have to see him before he leaves. Right now, I'm focused on getting to know him better and letting things unfold naturally.
These are brilliant! 100 more please 😂❤🙏🏼
2024 the first video I saw, so blessing! Loves these questions, but about the eighth one, whey if if they heard how their friend described them??
Love these! Thank you!!
These are great for research questions.
I think we should ask ourselves these questions first.
Hey Matthew Hussey do you have any videos of advice for men?
These are actually quite good!
Cool! Deep blue sea is a good movie! Watched it like 10 times at least😄
That was my favorite question!
Thanks! I'll definetely use it
I feel like this Video actually taught me that I should prepare for the answers for myself……
Love the questions! Perfect to keep the date interesting 😃
Thank you....
I’m going to write these down & take them on my next date (assuming I have one!)
Many of these are great job interview questions also. (Though there are some that would be bad - even illegal as they are - so be careful>. Or repurpose and rephrase it).
Gracias por estar tan bueno 😊
Love love these questions!!!
Thanks Mathew!
Great questions, thanks for the inspiration! :)
“4,000 Weeks” Just got on Audible. Thanks. 😊
I want to travel more but life gets in the way x
Thank you so much, Matthew! This video came at the perfect time, right before a first date I'm having this evening. Can't wait to try out these questions :)
All the best
Good luck!
Hi!! How was your date? 😀
@@alejadiaz It was great :D didn't even need the questions tbh haha
@@katarinavila hahaha great to know! :D
Love this video! My answer to question number 3 is “Get the Guy” 😁
Great questions Matthew!
I'm so glad to finally be in that place where this video will actually help me cuz I've actually got a date😂
Undercover guy here, sleuthing for Intel. Solid questions I'd love to answer as well as ask myself.
💜 the questions!
Matthew, Deep Blue Sea is one of my top movies as well LOL
Question - I have men constantly making off the cuff comments that suggest interest in me. I try to engage them, but they never, ever follow up on the first comment and they eventually leave. I’m hardly going to grab them by the arm and ask why did you act interested and not even begin a conversation with me?
I have smiled at them or said something, but it seems they get stuck after the first remark.
How should I deal with this? It happens at least a couple of times a week and it’s incredibly frustrating!
This video is fun ❤ Thank you handsome 😄
Greetings from Brazil 🇧🇷
