Beautiful restoration, I just recently got an 86 F250 Lariat Trim, manual transmission. Body is in decent shape. Your videos are an invaluable point of reference. I know I will be coming back often. Thank you.
I used to hate those trucks but now I love em…😂 It’s funny how your opinion changes over time… I still don’t really care for the brake lights but I guess you could find some good looking aftermarket lights…
Excellent video! I have an 1984 Ford F150 XLT extended cab two-tone brown/ tan. Your videos keep me inspired to keep working on mine. Perfectly produced and edited video for learning from you. Thanks!
You have such an awesome truck. My brothers and I have the same truck that my dad had and we want to do a whole rebuild with the engine and transmission also just to the whole body.. 1984 Ford F250 7.5l 460 big block, 2 Wheel Dr.. we want to convert it to a 4 x 4 drive. Love your truck man.
WOW! My first new vehicle was physically JUST like yours, except mine was a manual/inline 6! This brings back so many memories. I used mine as a plow truck in Minnesota and a tow vehicle for my boat. Nice job on the truck!! I never had trouble with my truck, that was when Ford built SOLID vehicles! Before they had recalls every couple weeks!! LOL
That has to be a western truck? I e got an ‘86 that is extremely clean for a New York truck, but this thing looks like it’s practically new! What a beauty!
Beautiful car. May I ask you where you got the rubber door gaskets? I exchanged the ones on my F250 and since then the doors do not shut nicely. I am living in Germany and i am prtty sure that I got some china copy cats if you know what I mean. Again, congrats to tht beautiful square body. Looks awsome!
@@DickShawI love it. I would do anything to have a bullnose exactly like this one you restored. I bet you could fit some 33’s on with minimal issues haha
Hello Dick.. did you upgrade the starter on this truck to the smaller high torque starter? If so can I get you to send me a picture of how you wired the solenoid on the fender under the hood?? I can give you my cell #. This would help me 10,000 x over!!!
I can’t find 84 I can find 85 looks the same dash and bench seat! I think I like the 84 it has 60 influence behind the design. And I like the red dash and seats always have I’m 41 y.o

Yep, in my home shop. Thanks for watching. Good luck with your project.

This truck is absolutely beautiful. Can I ask, what is the tire size and is there a lift on it?
Thanks for watching. The truck rides on LT 265/75 R16 tires and it is not lifted, that is the stock ride height.
