regarding the ember mug "universal adapter" - there are plenty of cheap mug heating pads that you can put on your desk and it will just heat anything you put on there. idk if they need it to be portable, hence on the cup itself, but yeah just a thought

14:55 - The reason why they won't sell the bottom part as an adapter is because it wouldn't work as well. When you set the temperature of the mug, you're setting the temperature of the coils to be hot enough to get the coffee to your desired temperature THROUGH THE MATERIAL THAT THE MUG IS MADE OF. This means the mug has built in calculations for heat transfers. Different materials have different heat conduction and different mugs have different thickness at the bottom, so anytime you set the temperature to 75° (for example) that would mean that the adapter has to know the exact thickness of the bottom of the mug AND the exact material in order to make your coffee the exact temperature you chose. If it doesn't know this info, you have two options: 1. it will make the coil 75°, which means the coffee could be either too cold or too hot. 2. It will make an assumption for a specific material and specific thickness for the calculations so that when you set it to 75°, the coffee is HOPEFULLY at 75° but it may be hotter or it may be colder.

Another thing that really frustrates me is Facebook with its ‘Top Comments’ comment filter. Most of the time it just doesn’t show any comments instead which doesn’t really sound like a big deal, but it really is a waste of time. Think about it, took me 2 seconds to change from ‘Top comments’ to ‘All Comments’ but we see like 100 posts (at least) per day. That means 200 seconds wasted in a day of my life 😂
Marquis released the WORST paid promotion of the Cyber Truck today.
I had to check the height thing. The UK has a higher average height than the USA and on average 200 pounds lighter
you aren't rough enough on how bad the outer shell of the Logitech mx master lack of quality
Adding physical controls to the ember mug is going to make it a lesser run production item and thus more exclusive, making it more expensive, not less. Sorry Adam.
funny how nobody seemed to know you could charge airpods with and apple watch cable (i feel so smart because i knew it)
31:06 what about a macbook pro magsafe type connector for all products ?
Netflix needs to stop blacklisting all projectors
bro who cleaned his MX master with ISO must love bongs, lol
thats what i do :)
Cybertruck rear view screen is a dumb idea. Sideview mirrors need to be permanently on the screen in smaller less intrusive size or they need a panoramic rear view that combines all 3 cameras.
I pulled the side mirrors out and honestly, having everything on one screen is much better than having to look up, down, and side to side to see all around as you drive.
Put your mug on a candle warmer
I don't get the point of the ember mug... Why don't just get a thermos?
I have one and I'm just a slow drinker so I keep the base at my desk and my coffee will stay perfectly hot forever. It's nice if you just want one cup. I also got it as a gift so I don't have to defend the high cost.
Because it’s a thermos😂. People like drinking from cups
And you can't control the exact temp in a thermos and if you only wanna drink a cup ember makes a lot of sense but its so damn expensive for what it does!
@@Chadpbj There are also insulated cups. For the money it costs, It's nothing but a gimmick
My laptop (Microsoft Surface Laptop 5) has Windows Hellow (face unlock)
My wife has an Ember mug the white one stains really bad
@waveform Andrew, how have you never heard of mug warmers? They've been out for ages and you cna use whatever mug you want.
I'm finally caught up on all your videos.
the concept of vacuuming manually in 2024 is broken. why can’t vacuums do this for us already?
Use a mug warmer for your ceramic cup.
Great segment 👍
24:56 what’s funny is our internal Apple group competitions they don’t have us use the Nike app though
What do you use?
Incorporated AI in cameras or editing software where horizontal video will transform into vertical video by pressing one button
The description needs typo fixing
The UK does NOT have a shorter average height than the USA! It's exactly the same.
Yep. Average male height of 5'9, female height 5'3 1/2, for both countries.
Nike Run Club NEEDS TO BE FIXED
