Some great Unge classics is "Pedofiler", "Periodare" (periodic alcoholic directly translated) and perhaps "Vaken i 53 timmar" (awake for 53hrs).
    Great stuff

He's been on radio a lot, and some TV shows. He's known as a guy that's always late to meetings, late with paying bills, sometimes just ignoring things he has to do. But very funny, this is not his best routine.

He's just genuie... The only thing he hates more than living on his mother, is physical work... He's totally screwed in the head, alphabeticly diagnosed, and is a lovely person (we hang out someimes) - so he uses his extremely high IQ and humour to actually make a living by participating in (well-paid for celebraties) TV-shows and doing Stand-Up...
It seems that It's what he wants out of life, I respect that and love him...
    Thanx for sharing 🙏

Extremely high IQ? You don't know that for sure. He has ADHD and they often have problems concentrating and are not known to score very high on IQ-tests. That is often done by the Aspberger types. Smart, for sure, but extremely high IQ as in 140+?

I think you will miss a lot in the translation since he often speaks in a special way with the emphasis on the wrong syllables in a funny way.
His timing when he speaks is also great and that get missed too.

People in Stockholm tend to look down on the 2nd and 3rd biggest cities in Sweden (Gothenburg & Malmö) in a kind of rivalry way.

If we dissect this a bit we find it's the migrated small town "lantisar" who have a problem with their blackwater places of origin. Us stockholmare didn't even know about their existence and are only reminded of it whenever they run out of money and force us, the economic engine of Sweden, to give them money without ever having to provide anything useful to this nation. I mean they say that they do important stuff but if that was the case they wouldn't all end up here in the 08-area.

    • @Ikaelgo
      @Ikaelgo 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

I don’t agree. True ”stockholmers” (i e did not move there from somewhere else)don’t have any rivalry feelings towards Malmö or Göteborg. I love my city, in many ways. I have my roots and family history in Stockholm and it is incredibly beautifulI. But I also like both Malmö and Göteborg, to visit. Why shouldn’t I? I have, however, several times been verbally attacked by people in or from Göteborg when they’ve heard I’m from Stockholm. Totally weird. So, perhaps they feel rivalry in Göteborg. Completely different cities, so no use in comparing. I love Skåne, where Malmö is (and lovely Helsingborg).❤

Please react to "POESI FÖR FISKAR - De Arbetslösa" it's got probably the best production value on a sketch on the whole TH-cam worldwide. They made it big and got a movie made later on in their careers. I think they where a bit ahead of their time...think they would have made it big if released to the algorithm gods today.

He's from Stockholm. Malmö is a bit like that, but he's exagerating, most people get along just fine.
IMO his best joke is (parafrasing a bit) "Weed must be the worst drug, all it does it make you drowsy and want to eat Cinnamon buns, everybody wants to eat buns anyways. Heroin is the best drug. People who use Heroin wakes up at 6 and think 'Oh no, I'm late, time to go out into town and do some Browjobs.' Heroin is so good that you quit your job and sell your house to be able to get more of it".
He's perhaps not the best known comedian, but he is well known.

Love him. Mostly because he crosses boundaries, which stand-up doesn't dare today, people get offended so damn easily. And in an age where humor is stifled for the sake of being politically correct, you just have to show that those who want censorship can go somewhere else.

Jonathan Unge is awsome, but maybe a litle harder to understand the humour in, especially as a non swede.
Short clips I recommend is Malmö, pedofiler, singel, mammor, bara två problem, periodare.
There is also some great shows in full length out there; Höftjuck, Semst, Helt fantastiskt, Babel... the is also some clips under the name of Oslipat.

He is from Stockholm but he has shared custody of his daughter in Malmö. That is why he is bond to the city.
Malmö is a devicive town. You either hate it or love it. It is so much smaller than Stockholm and all the city districts blend together and within walking distance or a quick bike ride.
Rosengård which is one of Sweden's infamous integration failures is present in a different way compared to similar areas in Stockholm, were you have to go 20 minutes with subway to reach them.
Möllevången is a cultural haven were a lot of cultural workers live in some time in their life.

Before I moved to Malmö I always said that I could never live here. Now I have lived here for six years (had to move for school) and I never want to live anywhere else. I feel like this is quite common. People who live in malmo often REALLY loves Malmö and people outside of Malmo hate it.
Unge is from a rich family in Stockholms nicer areas. He live in malmo because of his daughter, I don’t think he would if it wasn’t for her.

He's from Stockholm and he's got a kind of arrogant Stockholm accent. Sounds like some kind of Yuppie or advertisement guy. I was surprised of he's looks, because I used to hear him on radio and I thought he looked completely different like some suit and tie guy. I work work in Malmö and its full of annoying kids from the projects riding around on their electric scooters being rude to people. It's also the city with the highest SA cases in public. Lots of robberies too. Women don't feel safe walking alone at night in some neighborhoods.

This is the person in Sweden I think deserves fame the least.
Personally I can't stand him. He is always condescending, judgmental, sees himself as some kind of a genius while just regurgitating simple and self glorifing "thoughts". His interviews and comments displays views I find...I don't have word for it. There are not many people that I can't stand, but he is definitely one of them. I do like his mom however, and how they can be from the same family, I don't understand. He's a nepo-baby, and his mom is very famous, and his born into generational wealth. His family is one of the big owners of media and publishing in Sweden, and he's from a long line of authors, journalists and diplomats. He really reminds me of a narcissist, without the charm.
