5:42 - shock absorbers doesn't work. Usage of bearings as shims is also useless. Shock absorbers should be put vertically for each fork with two wheels or two absorbers (for each wheel single absorber). Also the second pair of shims should be on a bottom side or the board.
For the bearings as spacer, he is just using the resources he only have most likely he don't have other spacer and for the shocks it is correct and functional even if it is not place to the usual vertical position
The most simple way to make 6 or 8 wheels skateboard - Nice. For more than 5 years im searchin how to do that. I found about 5 options, but this is the best - you don’t need to cut the deck, the manufacturing cost is as low as possible, there is no need for additional stabilizing springs or splitter travel stops for 2 wheels, besides, you can at least replace all the wheels with motor wheels if necessary. by the way, you can print soft plastic tires for motor wheels on a 3D printer - it is similar in composition to polyurethane for shoe soles and is just as wear-resistant.
I wonder how people can think they're being innovative and yet over complicate a skateboard with shocks that don't do anything because they're dragging behind and adding another point of impact... Do you really think this useless part is creative? or is it just a useless part? Honestly, this would be like adding another tire to the back of a bicycle and calling it a shock absorber just because there's a spring in between.
You tyrelled the heck out of that board. I bet its heavy AF now, also the rear and the (most delicate) part still does not have suspenssion, so take it easy with the curbs.

I suspect that the turning ability of this board diminished, the weight increased for sure, most of the shock absorption is still done by the springy deck and the bushings of the trucks, and he could probably get what he wanted by simply increasing the height of the trucks. Over engineering at its finest.

0:35 you could EASILY skate down that curb without any modification to the board lol. Just bend your knees and get up some decent speed before rolling off the curb. With enough speed, the board will have enough momentum to clear the curb without scraping, and bending your knees will keep your center of gravity low enough that you can keep your balance.
