The damage output of this build was SLIGHTLY nerfed in a patch while we were editing this. Apparently sword 2 and 3 were cooling down way too fast due to a bug which has been fixed. Build still viable though.
@@wilfredwest67 Sword/Pistol then Hammer then rifle. However, I get higher numbers on Hammer than sword/pistol during gameplay while rifle is very consistently good in all content except CMs. Some CM's cause many power build to fall off and rifle is heavily effected on some of them.
Heh, thanks for the showcase Muk! Great video! I really enjoy this build and personally recommend it. It's easy to play, does good damage and gives good boons. Just a heads up I believe the sword 3 is still actually bugged! It's supposed to be 12 seconds, but it is currently 14 seconds. We are losing a bit of dps from that bug, but from what I tested I got around the same numbers I got prepatch anyways. Enjoy!
Very nice ^^ I have to say, i absolutely love this series you're making, helps a lot for people like me who don't play other classes to learn what other people can or can't do, in an easy to digest form. Loving it.
There's more and more player's abilities that can cover enemies aoe. A simple* solution would be to have the option (or by default?) to have the enemies' aoe drawn on top of allies' aoe. * I say "simple", but I'm not the one coding that game, so I don't know if it's actually easy to code or not. I'm not saying "spaghetti code", I just know that when something is not planed since the conception of a program, adding it in afterwards can sometimes be suprisingly tricky.
I would like to add that, in this build, your heal skill is a flex slot. so you have a choice to run Healing Turret for team condi cleanse, Med Kit for EVEN more team pulse cleanse and boons, or AED for one-shot prevention mechanic. Running AED while kiting oil with your tank in Deimos is pretty chill.
I recently started playing quickness Catalyst because of this series. Can't wait until you get to it so I can tell people how to easier keep quickness up.
As far as burst is concerned for Power Mech: Hammer > Sword/Pistol > Rifle. If your group is going to burst down a boss fast you bring Hammer over Sword/Pistol to help speed up the fight, but Sword/Pistol has amazing sustain DPS for longer fights. Rifle is nice on fights where you don't need to pump damage I always use Rifle for my T4 Fractals because lazy mode ranged lets me avoid attacks.
Pow sword amech is good, pow rifle amech is good too; if someone like juggle kits, sure, there's condi for that... but there is also EZ lazy condi alac mech - FLAMETHROWER ONLY kit to camp on, no bomb, no grenades - camp flame1, 2 more skills in kit, 2 outside, mash other buttons for ez win. For rotation - camp flame kit, don't interrupt auto attacks, flame 4 to drop fire fields, flame 2 is a blast, drop flamer for pistol4 every few seconds - if You drop thrower second early - with pistol4 still on little cd, use pistol2/mace2, or do it after pistol4 if available already on swap. Conduit/barrier and F1-3 on cd. That's a little drawback, no easy way to tell when to drop flamer - but we want our weapon2 and weapon4 skill outside flamekit - just use both with priority of 4 if available. Gear - mix of viper and ritualist, depends on mainhand - mace require less ritualist stats than going double pistol, barrier signet reduces that even more. rune of balthazar, sigils of bursting and smoldering, relic of scourge or krait - much depends on fight, no single ultimate here. Final note - flame1 is fastest attacking skill in game, do much fun on HT strike and ball pushing.
I just finished making medium obby armor last night n planning on running this build at raids on sat! I normally run condi alac temp and Bern looking for a power variant so I can switch for any bosses that takes better power dmg. excited to try this out!
Great build, with enough boon duration and swaping 3rd mech line to top I can provide myself with all the buffs needed in open world, great with rifle too
Loves your videos, it helped me alot❤ I started playing 1 month ago, i got rare drop "Fang of the Lion's Champion" 😍🔥waiting for it to get sold to buy all the living worlds ♥️♥️
I run Rifle, Hammer, and Sword/Pistol Alac Mech with throw mine, Shift Signet, and Barrier Signet with exactly 50% boon duration after utility buff. Simple, fun, and if you space your Alac buttons out it can get to 30 seconds of Alac within a short time. 10/10 would recommend. Runs like an Ak-47, it does its job and is reliable.
I use the exact same build for Open world, but with hammer. Thunderclap (hammer5) pairs nicely with Throw mines (blast for area swiftness) or Electro-whirl (hammer2) for some extra damage, Rocket charge (hammer3) is a nice 1k range niche-mobility skill with evades between the leaps, and Shock shield (hammer4) is a block that damages _while_ it produces barrier (=more alac). Probably does less damage than sword+pistol, but has better utility imo (rocket charge to evade or shock shield to block red circles from champions in convergences=op)
staff/staff alac mirage is very easy in the similar way. You have a bit of forced movement and clone management but you also get a lot of mobility and survivability with it (imagine evading half the time)
For condi mech: Instead of the 3 kits snowcrows recommends I use grenade kit (2,4,5) as well as shift signet and superconducting signet to great effect. Easier to play and basically similar dps
Yeah snowcrows is more like an encyclopedia than a build guide. It's usually fairly simple to tweak their builds to be easy to play and still be within the margin of error on damage output.
Depending on the fight you can also switch to rifle. Great for CC or on fights where you are frequently out of melee range. Rifle 2 also gives might. I switch between rifle and s/p for different fights. Sword is more fun though 😄
I suspect you could do a simplified version of pistol pistol condi as well by replacing kits with mine and signets like what was done with the power version. I wonder if it would be a better alternative.
You can play condi alac Mech with one kit and not lose on much damage. Bring grenade kit, superconducting signet and shift signet. Easy to play that way and still really effective.
Rifle PAM is great for W5 Soulless Horror Push. Why Rifle PAM over Druid and is it better? Druid who is Solo Healing, Pushing and Tanking with Quick Scrapper DPS would probably be the most optimal group comp which is the fastest. This is pretty much used only by Statics that optimize the runs. High KP Groups make the Tanks to Push Tormented Dead. Often it is Druid with another healer where Druid is also Pushing. Because you run two healers you basically lose the DPS Quick Scrapper does. Low KP Grops almost always run Druid as the Third Healer who focused on Pushing. This means you are losing a lot of DPS just to have Druid do the Pushing. all there options share the same problem that everyone in the Squad has to pay attention to the Tormented Dead so you don't accidentally either CC it or kill it. You have to delay your burst rotation and can't use any abilities that do hard CC like immobilize and stun when Tormented Dead is pushed trough he Squad. In case you have Scourges for epidemic everyone has to avoid using abilities that do hard CC like Knock Back and Pulls and Druid has to wait for Scourges to use Epidemics before pushing it out of the Arena (or until it has conditions) Rifle PAM basically replaces the Heal Druid and can be ran in Solo Heal Druid comp. The fight chance a little. Unlike before everyone else ignores the Tormented Dead only focusing on killing Soulless Horror while avoiding all Red like firewalls and scythes. Tanks only have to position themselves in a way that Soulless Horror is not on the middle or it will instantly die. The only thing people have to be mindful is long range pulls like Great Sword Dragonhunter or firebrand Axe 3 aimed at middle, which is rare but happens. Like reaper looking middle using Greatsword 5 to pull the Tormented Dead to Group 🤣 How to push on Rifle PAM? -Choose either Personal Battering Ram or Flamethrower Kit and start pushing with it away from middle and squad. Reposition and Delay Rifle 4 so you push the Tormented Dead towards the edge of the Arena after pushing it side ways but before it starts moving. Delay Rifle 3 before Tormented Dead starts moving. This kind of pushing makes sure you have enough time to kill the Tormented Dead. If for some reason the Tormented Dead takes damage and/or conditions you may have to do the pushing quickly or it will die closer to middle. The downside is that you don't fully push the Tormented Dead off the platform but usually that is not a problem, especially in CM where the arena is smaller. -Set the Mech on passive with auto-casting comands and stack 40% boon duraiton with 45% crit hance. Target Soulless Horror and press F6 so the mech attacks the Soulless Horror. Because your Mech is on passive it wont target Tormented Dead when you do, this is great as now your Mech is giving boons at the boss
I dont like the mechanist as healer and im pretty sure im gonna skip making willbender, catalyst, untamed, bladesworn and mechanist healers, the ones that I have are the ones I need. I might even skip doing berserker healer, but since it heals great in cm100 I might consider doing it. It deals with anything there with such ease. I doubt I will ever do a mechanist build of any kind.
Thank I use this a lot but I think I will try the sword and pistol out for my nexted T4 day and recs I use the rifle with barrier signet most of the time it works great because no matter where you are you can hit everything
The point of this build using swords is because at 3rd attack of sword (1) reduces the CD of sword 3 hence "rocket punch" occurs more often aka more dps. For fractals I use always Rifle as it makes more mobile and it's more safe to avoid stuff. The damage is about the same (in fractals)
you've linked to the power mech, not power alac mech video of mr mystic. You can swap in pretty much any weapon here, sword/pistol top dps, hammer for utility, rifle for heavy ranged and movement fights
at that point, just stick to legacy snowcrows rifle mech for an easy same dps and range. I was mech main, its the exact same dps, there is no change. if mobile boss, your dps is lost bcus of sword melee. PLUS you can run full bererker and still apply 100% uptime on rifle. If u run full zerk on sword, the diff is ~500 dps gain. but once again, if boss moves a lot its a huge loss
To make it even easier, for those that don't know, you can set the f1-f3 to auto activate when available for even more lazy play. Disregard this as people have said below haha
Agree with @TH-camChillZone - very bad idea. Every time the fight starts mech will get stuck behind doing F3 while the group moves to actually engage the boss. You actually need to have a habbit of ordering your mech to move by your side before you use F2-F3 otherwise it will rarely land properly.
Mech positioning can be managed with f6 and f7 as mentioned. Also f4 (disappear) before a fight then f4 again to drop the mech on the boss' head and he's right where he should be.
@@orcishhorde never start the fight with mech out, drop it in right ontop of the boss. getting used to ordering your mech to attack targets, or blastoff/re-drop for positioning and more cc dmg, is a good thing to get used to, and its not complex esp on a build like this with very little else going on.
