Good to see you Lux. I am about to start the whole trilogy in chronological order and 100 percent each as i go. Probably take all year. Love the content man. Keep it up.
The only game developer that can convince me to buy the rumored "switch 2" is monolith, so I hope the 10th anniversary brings amazing news for the series, xenoblade x remake would be nice, but I would preffer a xenosaga remake if kosmos is really important moving forward into the mainline series, either way, I will always hope for a switch version, as the system already houses the whole xenoblade triology, but if it comes out on a hypothetical switch 2 I might really have to buy it
loved the video, luxin! :D it's a warm feeling watching a xeno news video this well-put-together after not really keeping up with the series once i calmed down after future redeemed, needed a reminder why i love this series so much, and have stuck around for over half a decade at this point
Importantly, Kadowaka games (the publisher of this artbook) is the one sending the questions based off the survey so I wouldn’t expect definite answers on unexplained stuff. Things I expect are artwork of Mythra’s kid and maybe some description on her, Monolith might explain more about the Black Fog and Catastrophe of both worlds coming together, maybe an answer about why Z called Alpha his god and some small implied hints about the future. But I do think it’s extremely cool we are getting a questions section. I just hope people answered thoroughly about what they want explained. Also, agreed on the Xenosaga KOS-MOS collab and it’s extremely weird the JPN VA Mariko Suzuki came back as well as Monolith Soft retweeting stuff if there was no plan going forward for something Xenosaga cooking. We will just have to see though. I didn’t know you can remove the armour in game now and have everyone in their camp outfits! That’s so cool! I am planning to grind for N and M outfit soon too.
I was happy to find only 1 set of the Noah/Mio amiibo pack at the local Gamestop. The ONLY had 1... >.< come on Nintendo. Also, I'd pay to get that outfit for Velvet in Tales of Berseria....
Time for a boatload of speculation based on nothing. I think you're wrong. XCX remake is real, and will be announced for Switch 2. It might not come out this year, more likely to be next year. But it will be unveiled at bare minimum. I've always been team 2025 for the release of XCX myself, because XC1DE was the 10th anniversary. So I think from now on we're going to be in a cycle where after 10 years have passed, a blade game will get a remaster. XCX was also noteworthy for being the game that served as Monolith Soft's HD toolset's origin. I think it'd just be very fitting if a remake of that title then served as the basis and origin for a 4K development pipeline. But most importantly. I don't think that 2024 is going to go without a xenoblade game. I think that Xenoblade 3 was written in the fashion is way for a reason. It's because it was meant to be a multi game story arc. So...basically, I think there's a canon Xenoblade Warriors tie in. Mythra's child has not been revealed for a reason. They're the MC of that title, and it'll be set in Aionios's earliest days, and will depict many of the things we only heard in passing in 3 and FR. Things like Melia's capture, the death of Riki in aionios, the creation of the sword of origin, and so on. And given the time period of such a title, you could get away with having playable characters from all three blade games casts. Why do I think this is happening? Because Noah and Mio's amiibo came out so late after the game itself, which is extremely unlike basically every other series specific amiibo. Usually, barring smash because that's a special case, when a game has amiibo, most or all of the amiibo are day and date with the game itself. It's because they'll have functionality in this game, maybe something like allowing a city version of Noah and Mio to wear their XC3 outfits. And there might be a handful other figures made too, hence xenoblade being made an amiibo series now. How's this all feasible? Well, for warriors, outside of Tetsuya Takahashi and his peers directing the story, it'd be a mostly hands off affair for monolith in terms of game design and cutscene production and that sort of thing. Omega Force would do the vast lions share of the work. While the main Monolith Soft teams work on XCXDE and XC4. But to add onto that. I'm gonna go ahead and guess that XCXDE began work as a secondary project following the completion of XC1DE. When 3 wrapped, more hands would have been available to work on that. We probably don't see XC4 or whatever the next main project is till 2026 at the soonest, but more likely 2028, given that 2027 would be occupied by a 2DE if the 10 years pattern holds.
For the Xenoblade 1 logo for the amiibos, I guess they simply chose the X from Xenoblade 1 because 1 is the most iconic game that gave enough success for the series to continue. It's most likely the same reason why they used the Monado logo in Smash to represent the Xenoblade series as a all. I find this choice more fitting cause the Monado doesn't appear in Xenoblade 2 for example and yet, Pyra/mythra have the Monado logo. The X letter is more what represents the series as a all even though the Monado is a very iconic sword. But of course they had to choose a specific X to stay recognizable and each game title has its specific artstyle so the X from 1 here.
Hey Luxin and everyone else. I'm having post game fun in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and one of the unique monsters, Jadeite Polly only spawns during an aurora borealis event. That got me thinking... if Alrest is on the equator then according to science, it shouldn't be possible for aurora borealis to be present as the phenomenon only occurs near the poles. Just something to chew on. I doubt this has any significance to lore and what not. Thanks for reading, have a good day.
Outside of a XCX Remaster port, what I like to see is in 2025 a Trilogy port of XC1-3, a.k.a. the Klaus Saga, like the Metroid Prime Trilogy. I know, unlikely, but Xenoblade is still pretty niche, & I don't think Nintendo would lose a lot of money to sell them in one pack. It would be a great way to celebrate 15 years of Xenoblade.
• Xenosaga remakes • Xenoblade Warriors • Xenoblade Chronicles X remaster • Xenoblade Chronicles Waifu gatcha mobile game • Xenosaga re-releases • Xenoblade music rhythm game If they release any of these ideas I will be one happy Nopon!
21:39 I would love to see Monolith Soft tackle a licensed game, they would be great on tackling a Nintendo exclusive Star Wars or Transformers video game?
While they almost definitely won't release a new xeno thing this year, they might announce something together with the switch 2 at the end of the year. They might also push that to beginning of 2025 though so we'll see
There is another other alternative: Them doing a port (patch) of any current Switch games for Switch 2, maybe just to get a hold of how the new technology works. From what I heard from the people sleuthing away, the new system will have some new ways of tech, like mesh shaders and AV1 video encoding/decoding, and also DLSS 2/3.5 (basically, no Frame Generation), and they might want to, either internally or publicly, fiddle with it so the actual new game can make that work out of the box. Still, I hope they try a new IP. Not because I don't like Xenoblade, but because doing new shit can help find new gameplay. I don't think many people would like an out of the box Action game for Xenoblade (not what we have, which is much more a Turn Based RPG than even FF7R), but if they successfully do something like that with a new game and they are successful, they might be able to "backport" it into Xenoblade. Something like how Bayonetta 3 wouldn't have existed if not for Astral Chain - the demon workings is an iteration on the Legions of AC.
This might be off topic but will you be making more Trails content in the future? Like did the theory video you did earlier do well enough to warrant more videos?
i think a Xenoblade X remaster could be the next xeno thing if only too keep the pattern going a remaster between mainline games to hold fans over kinda like how DE was but yeah it wont be till at least 2025 if it is happening
could all this mentioning the number 7 be in regards to them having worked on 7 xeno story titles until now? Xenogears, Xenosaga 1-3, Xenoblade Chronicles 1-3 (Xenoblade Chronicles X being forgotten as always but only because it focuses on exploration instead of telling a story)
the biggest thing i want to know is why was noah entrusted to be the hero? like why was the original noah given the sword of the end? obviously our noah was given lucky seven because only he could counter N but why was N given the sword when he was still noah?
@@hermannator1 Deadass. The mystery around Noah’s existence and role was so fascinating to me, I’d love it if we got more information about it but I’m still cool if it stays somewhat ambiguous.
There's some SERIOUS thinking people need to do with this show and I believe you touch on why it's good to think critically super well. And while the argument "people get brought to Jesus through this story." Maybe true you point out "yes but what Jesus" The only thing I would add is the question on the second commandment about making an image of God. Jesus is that image and when you make a Jesus that ain't that Jesus in media like this I do believe that violates that commandment. It's another element to this show that needs critical thinking. I'm glad you posted this because people get really defensive with it and rely on entoional arguments versus taking a thoughtful conversation to work through this.
I hope Luxin doesn't consider the rare blade system to be a baseless criticism because that was horrible. There were other things I didn't like, but it was the main reason I never played it a second time.

Not like it really matters. Things need time to cool off and besides all of those games tended to fly well under the radar after Square was no longer directly involved. I mean the only reason the most recent trilogy even came up from the depths is because of Smash Ultimate. If it were not for Smash you would need sonar to find the games for that is how unpopular they are.
This would be ass asf. Usually the point of Warrior spinoff games is just pure fanservice, we already got an official trilogy that wraps everything up nicely. Anything else would just be a mess.

That Artbook does look great; however I did have to skip it since I can't read any Japanese. (also I just realized that Blood came out 27 years ago)
Funny story: You're talking about two different Studios that happen to have the name "Monolith". MonolithSoft is the JP studio that's been making the Xenoblade games, along with co-developing the Zelda, Splatoon, Animal Crossing, and Super Smash Bros. Monolith Productions, on the other hand, is a USA studio.
I want a continuation of Xenogears/Saga soooo badly, even if many folks insist it'll never happen. It continues haunting my dreams decades later like nothing else. Xenoblade hasn't hit me the same way, but in fairness I haven't had time to play them due to life and responsibilities (more specifically, I've only played 80% of the way through Chronicles, and none of the others.) But I'm happy they've been commercial successes and bought copies to support the cause and play some day, in hopes that their success will somehow, some way lead to the rest of the Gears/Saga story being told. I never want what happened with Saga's sales to hamstring them again...
I love having to read a Japanese only art book that released two years after the game to explain the copious amounts of unanswered questions and plotholes. I love this series, but good lord is this frustrating
How is this frustrating lol? All of it will translated by fans anyways. Every franchise has merchandise that has a couple of lore tidbits. None of it is necessary to play & understand the game, if it was it would’ve been in it. Shit like this just exists for lore heads nothing more nothing less.
The only Xeno game that I can see potentially releasing this year is Xenosaga remastered if it's a thing. I think the teasing in Future Redeemed and Baten Kaitos, a way more niche series from Monolith Soft, getting a remaster kind of hint that a Xenosaga remaster/remake is probably happening at some point in the future. Granted if it's just a remaster and got greenlit around the same time as Baten Kaitos I can see it coming out this year. Though if this is the case it will be a pretty bare bones remaster with some quality of life changes and visual updates. This is fine, but I think Monolith Soft might want to take a crack at remaking Xenosaga to be more like what they originally wanted it to be, which I don't think would be too much more work than making a mainline Xenoblade game nowadays since they're a way more experienced and capable developer than they were back then. I'd honestly prefer the latter than the former as I think Xenosaga deserves a remake. Though if this is the case I can see that coming out way later either right before or after the next mainline Xenoblade game comes out, probably around 2027. If there is any announcement for Xenosaga remastered coming out this year it'll probably be announced in the next direct and released this fall much like Baten Kaitos was last year. If there's nothing than there's definitely no Xeno game coming out this year. I do think they'll try and push for Xenoblade X to be one of the first year games for the Switch 2, as I think they'll want it to be a big showcase game for the system, but it'll release in 2025 for it's 10th anniversary much like Xenoblade DE released for that games 10th anniversary. This is what I hope they're going to do, and it would kind of suck if they don't have something planned to come out between now and the next main Xeno game as that's probably a good 4 more year of wait for that game.
I realy belive a Xenosaga colection is very likely as were 90% likely in the last year of the switch with its sucessor lauching this holiday season. Nintendo like with the 3DS is likely to wind down the switch with ports and remakes something we've already seen a bit of with the two mario rpg remakes. If such a colection is real I expect it some time between April and September that and Metroid Prime 2 HD i would place money on this year
Only problem with your theory is Nintendo has nothing to do with Xenosaga, and wouldn’t be the ones making a call on its remaster if one were to happen. Bandai Namco owns that IP and it is entirely up to them what they do with Xenosaga.
@NoonDragoon Nintendo teamed up with square twords the end of the 3DS's life for Dragon Quest 7&8 ports. I can see them talking to them about a collection just to fill in a release slot. Good to see you Lux. I am about to start the whole trilogy in chronological order and 100 percent each as i go. Probably take all year. Love the content man. Keep it up.
Honestly we’ve been eating soo well with 6 star quality meals with fantastic games that I’m satisfied without a Xenoblade game for a year or even two.
The only game developer that can convince me to buy the rumored "switch 2" is monolith, so I hope the 10th anniversary brings amazing news for the series, xenoblade x remake would be nice, but I would preffer a xenosaga remake if kosmos is really important moving forward into the mainline series, either way, I will always hope for a switch version, as the system already houses the whole xenoblade triology, but if it comes out on a hypothetical switch 2 I might really have to buy it
Damn i was just thinking yesterday when new vid was going to drop, this is awesome :D
loved the video, luxin! :D
it's a warm feeling watching a xeno news video this well-put-together after not really keeping up with the series once i calmed down after future redeemed, needed a reminder why i love this series so much, and have stuck around for over half a decade at this point
Major cope, but I hope that XB3 actually gets this art book translated to English 😭
For the love of LORD please bring X back
XENOBLADE WARRIORS
We probably don't see XC4 or whatever the next main project is till 2026 at the soonest, but more likely 2028, given that 2027 would be occupied by a 2DE if the 10 years pattern holds.
if this ends up happening its a huge dub
I didn’t get the age rating for smash spirits thing at first because in the uk all the Xenoblade games and smash are rated 12
I can confirm that it works without opening them!! 😅😂❤ Thank you Luxin so much for this information. 🙏
I see a luxin video, I instantly watch it. Lfg!
50 gigas ☠️
Thanks to you mentioning the X on the amiibo I noticed that DE has bigger text on the box art compared to the other two
Hopefully that art book gets an english release and doesn't jave anything cut from it since iirc the english xenoblade 2 art book had a few things cut
• Xenosaga remakes
• Xenoblade Warriors
• Xenoblade Chronicles X remaster
• Xenoblade Chronicles Waifu gatcha mobile game
• Xenosaga re-releases
• Xenoblade music rhythm game
If they release any of these ideas I will be one happy Nopon!
That Konami baseball game is pretty huge in Japan, btw. There's even Rule 34 of it and I don't know how. I mean, look at those characters.
Seeing Velvet doing Ultimum Teneritas has added minutes to my lifespan.
21:39 I would love to see Monolith Soft tackle a licensed game, they would be great on tackling a Nintendo exclusive Star Wars or Transformers video game?
SpongeBob lol.
We got a game this year after all lmao
While they almost definitely won't release a new xeno thing this year, they might announce something together with the switch 2 at the end of the year. They might also push that to beginning of 2025 though so we'll see
With the rumors that the switch 2 will support 4K resolution, I can’t wait to see what Xenoblade will look like in the future
I figured M's long hair and N's low voice were meant to show they were physically older.
I feel like XCX port will be part of Switch 2's announcement and its first lineup of games.
This might be off topic but will you be making more Trails content in the future? Like did the theory video you did earlier do well enough to warrant more videos?
i think a Xenoblade X remaster could be the next xeno thing if only too keep the pattern going
a remaster between mainline games to hold fans over kinda like how DE was
but yeah it wont be till at least 2025 if it is happening
Who do we contact to beg for an English translation of the Aionios Moments book??!? 🙏🙏🙏
could all this mentioning the number 7 be in regards to them having worked on 7 xeno story titles until now? Xenogears, Xenosaga 1-3, Xenoblade Chronicles 1-3 (Xenoblade Chronicles X being forgotten as always but only because it focuses on exploration instead of telling a story)
That 12:47 joke got me laughing so hard
Did you see that Bandai Namco published Strive in some reasons, that does in fact explain the Guilty Gear crossover event in Tales of the Rays?
What part of the story would you like clarified?
the biggest thing i want to know is why was noah entrusted to be the hero? like why was the original noah given the sword of the end?
obviously our noah was given lucky seven because only he could counter N but why was N given the sword when he was still noah?
@@hermannator1 Deadass. The mystery around Noah’s existence and role was so fascinating to me, I’d love it if we got more information about it but I’m still cool if it stays somewhat ambiguous.
good to have u back!
It would be great to have a new Xenosaga game.
I hope someone asks about Mythra's kid.
U forgot that Monolith soft is bigger with more staff than before
The creators said that the Xenoblade series is already complete however they still need to finish the X series
A Xeno game this year is still possible
Literally how? Following the pattern of the release we probably won't get a game...
Please.... KOSMOS V5.... XBX successor... i want it all... give me everything I desire..
DW KING U GOT THIS!!
Imagine Bandai Namco dropping the Nuke in the upcoming Direct probably in February regarding Xenosaga remaster..
Localization be damned
im going fucking insane bandai please give us our game
Xenoblade Warriors announcement this month.
There's some SERIOUS thinking people need to do with this show and I believe you touch on why it's good to think critically super well. And while the argument "people get brought to Jesus through this story." Maybe true you point out "yes but what Jesus"
The only thing I would add is the question on the second commandment about making an image of God.
Hmn, not sure about your take on X, what's your guess on what the XCDE team are working on then? I get COVID would've hit scheduling significantly but it's been nearly 4 years...
Will there be a vid on the role of music/ofseeing in aionios? Like how does the whole mote thing work?
great video but why is the id in the url only lowercase letters, it's driving me insane it looks so weird
DONT YOU TEASE ME ABOUT AN X REMASTER 😭😭😭
how many questions about mythra's kid are they gonna get i wonder lmao
Lol I thought you were mispronouncing “Tales of Arise” but they really went with “The Rays”
If we are lucky maybe xenoblade will be like dark souls and we will get clone games.
Xenoblade X will come out.
6:46 Your voice sounds different.
any1 know how to get the new artbook in the UK?
im trying to buy one
Didn't they say there are not going to be any more smash games
No, they didn't.
Haha! Smash Bros is to Nintendo what Halo is to Xbox. Sakurai will never be allowed to stop making Smash games.
Persona 25th birthday be like:
(a)Miibo[Mii]
Big if true
I'd be happy with some rereleases or a new series. Sick to death of the xenoblade saga. So much content for so little pay-off.
1:55 nah, a Xenoblade Warriors by Koei Techmo is infinitely more likely than an X port
This would be ass asf. Usually the point of Warrior spinoff games is just pure fanservice, we already got an official trilogy that wraps everything up nicely. Anything else would just be a mess.
@@ZephyrK_it already happened to both Zelda and Fire Emblem and the stories are terrible. Age of Calamity and Three Hopes had the least amount of fanservice than any other Nintendo warriors games.
@@ZephyrK_ Plus we got the fan service that ppl thought base XB3 was gonna be in Future Redeemed.
@@therealjaystone2344 Let's be honest, even the first Fire Emblem Warriors wasn't much of a fanservice to that franchise, unlike what Zelda's first Warriors game was. So much so, that the fans were peeved about it.
@@byronlyons3548 not true because the first FE warriors is just fanservice from the 2010s era. However, missing units were there too.
Maybe theyd finally do xcx switch edition
x and/or xenosaga remaster for switch 2 please, a guy can dream
Feathers are a b*tch to dry!
That Artbook does look great; however I did have to skip it since I can't read any Japanese. (also recently gotten into BattleTech which is taking up a lot of money)
Monolith Productions also created some great FPS such as Blood, No One Lives Forever, and the first two F.E.A.R games before making Shadow of Mordor.
They should have made noah and MIo fighters in the game... Spirits are dumb imo idc if they said no more fighters... just make an exception lol
I rather find the remake of xenosaga better because the first two games aged horribly even with the port itself to be HD
@@therealjaystone2344 Yeah only episode 3 has aged gracefully and even then it could be touched up to look much better.
What survey?
On top of that Nintendo and Namco Bandai have been very close lately to the point Namco Bandai is opening a new studio to work exclusively on Nintendo projects
@@demi-fiendoftime3825if it was entirely up to Nintendo I think it would have happened already tbh. People seem to forget that Bandai Namco already decided against remastering Xenosaga before when it was a possible project for them, Harada confirmed this a few years back.
@@NoonDragoonnot to mention why xenosaga haven’t been touched now all the localization got worse over the years with censorship
@@NoonDragoonPR talking and I doubt the game itself being scrapped altogether
Sooo excited about the art book! It's my first time buying one of these post-launch compendiums and I didn't wanna miss out after Nintendo fumbled the XC3 Collector's Edition preorders
