I thought I'd share something I pieces together from a few Takahashi interviews.
In an interview with Hashino, who's working on the Persona series, Takahashi gets asked about the original six episode story that he planned and was outlined in "Perfect works". To that he answers "Takahashi: For as long as I’m alive, I want to release the “answers” someday."
In a message he shared before for Future redeemed he said "I think that everyone who played this title and the additional stories in the Expansion Pass can imagine what lies in the future for Xenoblade."
This obviously points me to the ending of future redeemed, and the very interesting things said on the radio, especially that name drop, and the glimmer falling to earth in the end.
It seems we might actually be getting the perfect works story, that was never properly told before.
Given that Takahashi said both these things, especially that he wants to release the answer as to what the original plan outlined in Perfect works was, it's quite possible he's planning to tell the whole PW story, not specifically make Saga 4.
Also knowing how Saga's development went, and how Takahashi and Tanaka weren't allowed to work on Saga 2 and 3 as planned, or tell their stories, it's highly probable he'd want to actually tell the story he wanted to. It would be extremely strange if he'd' just continue from the story of a different series, owned by a different publisher, in Blade with no additional context or the story itself in the current series. It seams more reasonable that he'd retell the story in Xenoblade.
The lyrics in the end song, which was written by him, could easily be read as him deciding to go for what he's wanted to do for a very long time, go through the door as it is sung.

The biggest thing this scene implies is KOS-MOS and T-ELOS were made by Vector Industries before Earth's disaster in the Xenoblade universe. In Xenoblade 2's artbook KOS-MOS Refrain was stated to have been built by Vector Industries, specifically by a Shion Uzuki and Allen Ridgely. KOS-MOS also knew how the First Low Orbital Space Station was made, and in general had more special properties than a normal blade. Core crystals were not even fully realized back then, but were around. Vector making experimental artificial lifeforms with immense power sure sounds like something they would do. In a way that would make KOS-MOS the first "blade".
Now that we know there was a Vector Industries around at the time of Klaus's experiment, the artbook information may be more than just a slight reference. Clearly all the characters with names from Xenosaga are not the same people, being born on Earth and thousands of years earlier, but the fact they existed at all is very interesting.

Something important to note is that in xenoblade 2, where kosmos and t-elos are there AS CHARACTERS, xenosaga is NOT in the copyright credits. Meanwhile, in xenoblade 3, just for a logo and namedrop, they are credited in the copyright.

The main reason is because what happened at the beginning of Xenoblade X is very different to what happened in Xenoblade 1,2,3 when Klaus pushed the button. To the point that it doesn't even make sense without severe retcon of X. Meanwhile, it can already easily be seen on how they can tie it to Xenosaga. Furthermore, it is well known that Xenosaga was the story Takahashi desperately wanted to tell fully but didn't get a chance to, so it wouldn't be surprising that Takahashi wanted to connect it to Klaus trilogy so desperately. I would like a sequel to X, but even with the project Exodus namedrop, it still make far more sense to keep X as a spinoff series with its own story. Otherwise there are tons of holes in the story.

@@corundumkrabble5035 From base XB3 we know other universes exist thanks to the opening cutscene showing them in the background. The mention of the Earthlife Colonization project would be a case of establishing 1/2/3 are in a parallel universe to X. • @PenguinSage

@XenoWarriorQuite a few things. Firstly, all of Earth's technology, which is vastly different than the soverigns in both design and function. Then the fact that Earth's tech in all fields seems to be equally advanced and not all over the place (namely skells and mimeosomes being far more advanced than everything else X humans had). Humans in X never left Earth before the Ghost/Sammar conflict, while in FR we see humans leave at least a few years before Klaus's experiment. The ships also contain far less people than the Ark ships of X. Earth is not invaded by Aliens in 1/2/3, while it was in X. Earth's surface was mostly fine after the experiment, just hostile to life. In X, the Earth is disintegrated on screen, reduced to rubble. I think some people checked the dates from the radio, and gave some possible years for Klaus's experiment. 2054 was not one of them. Xenoblade X and 1/2/3 are connected in some way, and are implied to on several occasions, but they clearly do not originate from the same Earth. Same for Xenogears and Xenosaga. Both have big and small references, but can not take place in the same universe.

@@andresmarrero8666 I personally think Xenoblade 1-3 and Xenoblade X exist in separate, but connected universes because the lore makes it impossible for them to both be from the same Earth. Universal travel is shown to be possible too.
      For your points.
Telethia the Endbringer is on Mira. That can be explained by the many telethia that went through the fog rift in FC. None of them look exactly like TtE but time and space are weird in Mira in general. One of those telethia changed either quickly or gradually into the giant form we see in game. There is literally a rock in the collectapedia that allows you to see the past and present.
As far as I am aware there is no orbital ring remains on Mira. The giant rings of Oblivia does not fit the structure of Rhadamanthus (or Mechonis really). If you are referring to the one art book image with the space tower, that is on the pole of the planet, and we clearly see Rhadamanthus is not near the poles. Also if Mira was Earth were did Earth's Moon go, and where did the 6 others come from?
Now, a point of my own. Why do the Nopon of Mira know about Frontier Village? There are a dozen reasons, but one I just thought of and don't even buy fully myself is this. The Nopon Archsage is the only being known to enter and exit Mira, and also have a connection to the Bionis. Some wandering traderpon may of sought new, foreign lands to trade in, and were thusly transported onto Mira, memories and all. Its so crazy I almost believe it. Almost.

After listening to “Small to Pieces” (Xenogears’ ending song) and “Future Awaits” I have come to a very interesting meta interpretation of the post credit scene of Future Redemeed
    SPOILERS AHEAD
    *
    **
    ***
Riku is the Ouroboros form of Chu-Chu and Tatsu
    ***
    **
    *
    Ok, here we go
I believe that the blue light floating towards Earth in the last scene is neither KOS-MOS nor Elsa nor the White Whale or not even the crucified Chu-Chu falling to earth to save us from our sins: The light is actually…MONOLITH SOFTWARE
The scene is like a meta-wink to the fans to show that Monolith has finally redeemed his future and went beyond the “endless now” of trying to repeat the Perfect Works story over and over again and is ready for something new.
I believe this because both Xenogears and Xenosaga were supposed to end with the “Return to Earth/Lost Jerusalem”, but we never got to see this because both projects fell short and were cut before their expected end, so the idea of MONOLITH finally reacing Earth, finally going were Episode VI of the Perfect Works was supposed to go, it’s a very poetic and fitting end to this 20+ years experiment
Name checking the 2 projects that they never completed (Gears and Saga) in the radio-scene might also be a sign of this, it’s their way to say to fans “Do you remember these stories we never completed? Stop obsessing about those, embrace the future, we are going beyond those, that chapter is finally closing”
The last piece of the puzzle for me is “Future Awaits”
Someone, once said “"Music is a mysterious thing. Sometimes it makes people remember things they do not expect. Many thoughts, feelings, memories... things almost forgotten... Regardless of whether the listener desires to remember or not."
“Future Awaits” having the same singer and the same flute as “Small Two Pieces” from Xenogears it’s not a coincidence, it’s just another way to show that the series has gone full circle.
The idea of trying again and again to complete the PW saga, started after the end of Xenogears and the refusal of Xenogears 2 by Square, is now over, in the same place where it started.
The moment when the creadits of Gears ended and Takahashi let go of the future and fell into the “Endless Now” of trying again and again the rehash the Perfect Work story.
Xenoblade brought to full circle what Xenogears and Saga started. Humanity has finally reached Lost Jerusalem. The Eternal Recurrence and The Endless Now are gone, we are finally beyond the cycles. Monolith Software finally reached the end of Episode VI of Perfect Works
As what the future has in store, I have no idea. Future Redeemed core story is focused on the idea that we must not totally discard the past, but use it as a stepping stone towards the future. If I have to guess, the future of Monlith Software lies in the direction of Xenoblade Chronicles X, probably the only Xeno game that feels almost completely detached from the Perfect Works saga.
A new sci-fi adventure. New planets to explore, new stories to tell. A part of me will always have the desire to see the Xenogears and Xenosaga stories retold and maybe completed, but in my heart of hearts, I can’t wait for what the future has in store from Monolith.

Or they just confirmed a Xenosaga-influenced Xenoblade X reboot and the cycle will go on and on until Tatsu will rise again to consume the souls of everyone of us.

Damn, this is an absolutely incredible and beautiful interpretation.👏 Really got me thinking!
I could be misquoting here, so if I'm wrong don't crucify me and disregard this, lol. But I believe Takahashi said in an interview in the 2010s that he would try completing the Perfect Works story or at least some iteration of it, as long as he's alive. The opportunity with -Blade seems to be there, seeing as how successful it has become.
My curiosity wants to know if he is able to complete Perfect Works through Xenoblade, will he continue to make games and stories, or will he finally call it, and retire? The man is getting up there in age, so I'd imagine it'd be the latter. But obviously, no one but him would know that answer, so my question is more rhetorical than anything. Your comment just really got me thinking about a world where he finally completes the story he's been trying to tell for the past 25 years or so. What next then? Does he stay in the 'endless now' of continually working on games? Or does he entrust his company and work to the next generation of artists and bright, young minds?
All this might be pretty far off in the future, and is all theoretical, but I can't help but to wonder, ya know?

There's nothing in 3 that would contradict 2's DLC being when Shulk and Rex (and Elma) first met, as it only stated that they didn't start active communication outside the Archsage's control until after 1 and 2's main stories. It might have even been how the two worlds discovered each other.
Shulk and Fiora becoming blades could just be Archsage bs so the devs didn't have to create 2 new party members, but them being made entirely out of ether could be his in universe reason, since that's true for everything in 1's world but only for blades in 2's, which could have adverse effects if he didn't make the correction.
Nothing in X contradicts Elma being in 2, as she only ever experiences it in what she thinks are battle simulations or dreams, so it could theoretically take place during X's main story; although, I don't think it's impossible for it to take place afterwards.
2's KOS-MOS and T-elos are summoned from core crystals, so them existing in Xenoblade 2 could easily be explained by the Trinity processor containing their schematics and copying them into blades while the real versions are out in space being in Xenosaga's plot.
Nothing about the DLC has to contradict canon, so it's entirely fair to say that it is canon, especially with 3 lore and the blade series' future apparently having been in the works since basically X's release. It was likely meant to be canon to serve as foreshadowing for whatever happens in Xenoblade next, i.e. the # blades, X, and Saga all being closely connected somehow.

Project Exodus was called the Global Species Pan-Immigration Plan in the Japanese version of Xenoblade X. The radio broadcast (Lore FM) in Future Redeemed uses this exact name instead of Project Exodus in the Japanese language version. So not a coincidence.
It’s referencing X. Project Exodus, The Earthlife Colonisation Project, a new class of colonisation ship able to somehow transports millions of people launching in July, the Coalition Government… it’s X. It’s not a cute little nod or a coincidence, it’s outright talking about X.

    • @unnamed_protagonist

References yes, but the aliens throw a wrench into the entire thing, as you would think when Klaus was retelling the story of his experiment he would mention the fact they were literally in the middle of being attacked by aliens during it. But instead his entire problem was he hated humanity for constanlty fighting with one another. IMO they are reusing the terms rather than this being a direct reference to those events. The coalition government was already a thing in XB2, so thats not new. The context behind project exodus this time is a much less urgent universal colonization project compared to the last ditch effort plan to save humanity in X.
Can they bring elements of X into it, sure maybe, but the entire premise of X would have to be practicality rewritten so it wouldn't even be the same plot anymore.

    • @mrgideon666
      @mrgideon666 ปีที่แล้ว +4

@@unnamed_protagonist You’re falling into the same trap as Xenobits here: thinking all references to Saga are obviously intentional and canon and tying the two series together while all references to X are just a coincidence and a fun little nod.
A decision was made to have that radio broadcasting information about Klaus’s world before the fall. That information was very deliberately selected by the writers to directly mention elements from both Saga and X. No ambiguity, no lending more weight to one or the other.
So either we take the information at face value and accept that these references to known events, places, projects, organisations, companies and timelines are in some way related to the past and future of the series, or ALL of it is just a knowing nod to Monolithsoft’s history with no real relevance to Xenoblade’s past or future. Given the way Monolithsoft does things I know which of those I’d bet on. They clearly have a plan.
Alternatively: the Saga reference is just fanservice because Project Exodus/Earthlife Colonisation Project doesn’t exist without Elma, and Elma’s existence contradicts Saga. If you can exclude X’s mention because it contradicts Saga’s lore, you can do the opposite too.

    • @unnamed_protagonist
      @unnamed_protagonist ปีที่แล้ว

@Mister Gideon i'm not falling into any trap. I don't believe that they are even gonna go the route of "these old games are now canon." i think they are just going to pull in elements from those games into the new plot going forward.
Also, project exodus can definitely exist without Elma. Yes, in X, she was the one who not only told humans of their impending doom but also a way to escape in the form of tech. But in mailine blade lore humanity was waaaaay more advanced due to the Conduit, as Artifices completly blow skells out of the water. It's not a stretch to say that humans would come up with a universal colonization project on their own given their scientific advancement. Which is my theory to what they are getting at in the radio. But thats besides the point.
If they do just take saga and x lore wholesale and say "these are now canon", x literally can't occur in the current lore without rewriting basically the entire inciting incident, at which point theres literally no reason to try to fit it into the lore because it's not even the same game. That or they show us Klaus' experiment again but say "oh by the way they were under attack by aliens while all this was going on" which is also a pretty dumb change considering it's waaay to important if a detail to not have mentioned before. Saga would need changes too, don't get me wrong, but nowhere near as drastic as rewriting the entire inciting plot. Again, i don't think they are going this route at all. But if they do, x is just so blatantly contradictory to the lore that is more trouble than it's worth.

And if that’s the case then Dmitri Yuriev could be another guy with the same name and Vector Industries could be strictly a radio manufacturer.
Is it likely that Monolithsoft included names, organisations and scenarios from Saga and X and had them revealed in the same lore dump… but only the ones from Saga are relevant?

@Mister Gideon correct. I do think the names and references are slightly more important than just throwaway references, though, even for X. As i said i think project Exodus is just being recontextualized as a normal universal colonization type deal. Similarly, the references to Saga are also recontextualizing those plot elements. The saviorites having the same name in japanese as the Salvators and having yuriev name dropped is a big deal imo. Not in the fact that they're just loosly connecting to Saga, but that is taking stuff from Saga and using it in a new way.

Both for the Zohar (Xenosaga) and the Conduit (Xenoblade) share some identical info on where's was found. Story-wise for both games, both objects was found in Africa, but for the Zohar specifically was on Lake Turkana, Kenya-Africa (opening event for Xenosaga EP 1). And both objects was leading into the Earth-disappearing event of things. Also, Project Exodus in X is what's been called the Immigrant Fleet in Saga and Pilgrimage Fleet in Gears. Humanity's last ditch effort to escape and survive. Im guessing 2 things. Either is Takahashi reimagining Saga's lore/events into Blade's OR there's some strong story and timelines lore that we didn't know just yet between Blades, Saga and X. If it that was KOSMOS in FR ending, does that mean that similar events between Saga and Blades are occurring at the same time, but in different timeline and universe?

  • @RichardMV

I said my piece in the Discord, but I definitely think they'd need to do a full remake/reimagining of Xenosaga if they want to continue it. It was a niche series when it came out and even diehard fans were turned off by the changes to the voice actors, art style, and combat in Episode II. If the future of the series is a continuation of Saga and the Blade Fandom's exposure to it is a remake of the original games, it might alienate some of that fanbase.
It makes me really happy to see the community this hyped and excited about the future of the series. I'm 'old'; Xenosaga came out while I was in high school and I followed the series from the beginning. All the talk and debate happening now reminds me of the community that grew around speculating what would happen in episodes II and III.

What I find very interessting is that in 2, they were just very straight up in how the game was written and presented that "these blades have definite ties to characters in Xenosaga, but they are not the same characters".(Just that the localization messed with it by removing the "Re:"-destinction, lol)
Here, they just namedrop a Dimitri in the context of salvators with no clarifying contradictions or anything and with the only source of doubt being that we are not entirely sure that these IPs take place in the same universe. If they do, then that looks very conclusive.

If there’s any retconning for X, MOST of it can be explained since our source of the old world is from Alvis who let’s just say is not the most reliable AND the Architect. So we know 1 and 2 come from the same universe so I’ll just rely on the Architect who I’ll call Klaus from now on. Klaus a scientist in control of the Trinity Processor used it to go to an experimental world. However 2 explains that all the artifacts like Siren and the fleet of them, and things like Aion were all powered by the Trinity Processor.
Now why would you need Aegis level firepower? Insurgents? Maybe, I mean they were supposedly rushing to the space stations. What if they got information leaks that Project Exodus wasn’t some experimental fun project for human galactic colonization, but was actually to avoid extinction from an alien war. Sure this would be called a conspiracy theory, and while it would be true and probably exposed late into the project. There’s NO WAY that the insurgents are getting war machines strong enough to fight things like Sirens unless they were to hijack a Skell. Even then there wouldn’t be many Skells at all.
The reason you need that firepower is to protect Project Exodus while the ships make a last ditch effort to escape.
No Klaus was not informed of aliens, he believed that all the chaos was from people not aliens. Klaus probably even thought of himself as an elite so he’d be on those ships if that theory was true.
And yes Project Exodus was confirmed in 3 with even the Japanese version also making that direct connection to X
I hope this explanation shows the ties between X and the old 1 and 2 world.
Now to quickly explain the explosion of earth in X. It’s really simple, that was Klaus using his experiment. If you suddenly removed matter the size of earth, you’d make a void causing an explosion (probably idk), and even then Klaus just did it last minute and saved his ass before the explosion.
Now regarding the aliens, I haven't played through Xenosaga so idk how much of a conflict matter this is.

I think you're thinking too linearly with Xenoblade X.
Spoilers for pretty much everything Xeno related:
Mira exists as an amalgamation of data from other worlds within the Life Core. The premise Luxaar suggests is that everywhere humans go, destruction follows. This confirms NLA is not the only surviving ship, and may even suggest that humanity has continually colonized planets before ever reaching Earth. Xenosaga is literally on Fifth Jerusalem, and Xenogears makes it clear that they came from our earth but civilation collapsed and the fact they were from another planet was lost knowledge.
With that much complication and the universes resetting and evolving each time, there's no reason to believe X is non-canon nor even retconning since continuity between franchises is not based on a single timeline. Xenogears is episode 5 out of 6 but in terms of worldly achievements it's pretty primitive. By Xenosaga, they have the U.M.N., which is barely understood, and all the technologies of Xenogears that were disasters have been mass produced at what I imagine is an earlier point in time. The progression isn’t in the structure of one timeline. It's the blurring of technology, biology, science, and magic across evolving timelines. Mira is a middle point between roads.

I'd put money on the idea that the abyss in Xenosaga was Klaus' experiment, based on the visuals we see at the end. It could very well be those two black holes, and we do not have specific evidence that Klaus did that experiment on Earth, or that the conduit wasn't another kind of Zohar emulator. I think we need to start discussing prison island more because it absolutely interacts with origin, and in XC1 the end version inside the bionis head is nearly identical to the rift we see in FR. Prison island is an enigma, but weirdly matthew's clothing has patterns matching the monsters inside for some reason. We have a misunderstanding of the timeline, it does not appear that the Architects planet was just earth hanging out there, and the timing of creating origin and the merging makes very little sense, I think in XC3 we see the X game already merged in. The post credits of X talk about something about the planet letting them keep their lives and memories without the backup, sounds a lot like origin. I am not even an X fan but i just think we have taken assumptions and FR shows us a very different reality of two planets being split and the earth may not just be floating around, and moebius kept that cycle for a period of time in the outer universe. I just am not sure we see FR telling us that the XC series fits in as a slab to a part of another continuity but perhaps a different kind of integration. The world of XC will be a part of something bigger but i dont see them just going okay all these new chars just pop up in another continuity, we may see something different and we absolutely do not get confirmations, we get teases.

All they would have to do in X is say that the attack occurred on a different side of the planet. Its also pretty easy to say that the earth simply appeared to blow up. It already looked that way in XC1 and we know have a slight retcon in XC3 that suggests Alrest/Earth was also thrown out of the main universe.
Alternatively, an easy way to explain away the inconsistencies between Blade Saga and X is to simply say that Blade timeline takes place in a different Eternal youknowwhat to Saga's where events play out similarly but the events change slightly each time.

I want to first point out that the word "Saviorites" is actually translated from the same exact Japanese word used to describe the "Salvators" from Xenosaga. Dmitri Yuriev is also called "the first Salvator" in Xenosaga. I've seen many people here also say that Yuriev cannot be alive at this point since Saga would take place several thousand years past the Klaus experiment. Contrary to how pretty much every other character in Saga is handled, we NEVER get an actual age for Yuriev. Due to his exposure to U-DO, we know that he has perpetuated his existence for hundreds of years at the very least, and since we never get any concrete dates on when Designer Children like Yuriev were created AND when the U-DO experiments happened, his name drop is not a contradiction. If anything, it proves my point since there's such strict adherence to established Saga lore.
Admittedly, the Grimoire Verum lore is hard to reconcile. It's really the only thing at odds with Xenoblade's lore. However, that plot point was only included in Missing Year short flash animation, and I think it would be fairly easy to change or give more clarification on it and any other minor inconsistency that Xenosaga may have with the potential remakes. As it stands, Xenosaga has a far better chance of connecting directly to the Trilogy. X would have to retcon huge swaths of lore in order for it to take place within the same universe. And considering that we know that Xenoblade X and Xenoblade 2 were being written at the same exact time, it makes 0 sense why Takahashi would write something that he knows for a fact he would have to de-canonize.
If you have not played Xenosaga and don't know what happens in it, I would implore that you do research before commenting here and saying I don't know what I'm talking about. At least play the games before claiming to understand lore better than I do.

I have never played the previous Xeno series and truthfully forgot they existed, so the radio was just background noise to me while I was listening to Matthew and Na'el's conversation. Had no clue it was connecting Xenoblade to Xenogears until this video popped up on my feed just now.
That's pretty cool! Dunno if I want to play all the Xenogear games though.

I'm so happy Xenoblade isn't just its own separated saga anymore. We have so many lores in video games that aren't ambitious and complex to that degree so it's very satisfying to see few trying to make a giant Odyssey between series. It's so much better to have everything combined and an extensive lore no matter you're too lazy to learn more about Xenosaga or not. That really elevates the series in many ways and makes it so much cooler and deeper. I'm so pleased by this. Xenogears is still its own thing I believe even though I'm aware there is few connections between it and Xenosaga so it makes it more like a parallel universe or a distant past of Xenosaga I believe. That would also indirectly makes it canon to Xenoblade when you think about it, which is pretty cool.

I actually believe that there wont be a Xenosaga remake series. I think the Blade Series will continue at the end of Saga and follow the philosophy of Xenoblade, where no prior experience with the series is required, but the lore and info is heavily involved with the back half of the story.
Takahashi realizes that having a series which is predicated on consistent throughput is simply inneffective. He will tell his story, but it will also be re-designed to fit the Blade model a lot more.

Big disagree on X not being connected. Why would monolithsoft connect their biggest franchise to an old series they don’t own anymore (not even a little). When they can easily connect X and finally bring it to modern consoles. Makes much more sense story wise as well. Even though I disagree with you I believe your theories are more likely to happen (I really hope Xenosaga comes to modern consoles soon or remakes)

I've never played saga and only know the details every xeno youtuber talks about, but I found it very interesting how the radio not only connects the games in a nice way, but also tells basically the exact opposite of what Na'el is talking about. A world of endless peace and beauty, while we should just ignore all the conflicts and problems the radio talks about. Obviously very much like Moebius and Z, but I think that through Na'el in this game it recontextualizes Moebius in the main game. It seems much more like a critique of ignorance and how you should be more honest to yourself especially to the stuff you don't like.

So far I'm feeling pretty adamant that Saga and X are still both not canon. I feel there's just too much in the way, in the timeline and in real life, for me to buy that either story could be somehow implemented. This is gonna be like the connections between Gears and Saga again, just reusing prior ideas for a new story. I'm sure if there's another Xeno series after Blade, it'll have something resembling a Monado or Klaus in it, but nothing will tie its canon to Blade in any meaningful way. It's just Takahashi doing his thing.

Well they said they aren't done with Xenoblade, just the Klaus saga essentially. I agree though, there's too many factors that muddy things up to make Xenoblade X and Xenosaga fit without arguments from both sides. I'm also thinking that they'll incorporate ideas and concepts for both, future redeemed acting as a base for that. They retell and refit the games so that can match up with Xenoblade without issue and thus continuing their legacy in a proper fashion

Scrolling through these comments, I'm seeing so many different ideas, thoughts, and theories, all related to saying the same message, yet all completely different. I think that was the intent with the ending of Future Redeemed. You can talk about connecting all of the games and series as much as you want. And as much as I would love to, I don't think that's really the point of all this. I think the point is that no matter how one may theorize or interpret this story, this final message will always be the same.
Anyone is free to interpret the ending however they see fit, and can only theorize so much. But there are things about it that will always be certain. We have come full circle. This chapter of our lives is over. You can look back and reflect on these stories much as you want, but you can't just stay in this moment forever. You have to let it go, leave it to rest as it is now, and move on. You might not know what's in store for you in the future, but whatever it is, you should be hopeful. The future awaits you.
So look up, face forward, toward your chosen horizon,
    and just...
    walk on.

OK origin for some reason just started popping out universes, because I think after three, it started making universes and for the reasons Xenoblade X takes place thousands of years later, after origin for some reason, re-created the original earth, and thousands of years later it gets blown up again.
I know one thing about the Xeno verse, earth cannot catch a break. It keeps getting blown up, dissected into different dimensions, traveling back-and-forth the time, and also creating other universes.

I don't think X and Saga will ve fully hrought into the cannon of Xenoblade. This could simply be a way for them to incorporate ideas and concepts and such from those games to rewrite and retell them. Makes its fit better than just trying to cram them in and have people argue over how it makes sense (like how people are already doing). I can see Xenosaga be remastered still, maybe even Xenogears (Ideas from Xenogears were incorporated into three so its possible). Taking those past games (Xenosaga, Xenoblade X, and maybe even Xenogears) and retelling them to fit the universe of Xenoblade without need to fill in gaps that lead to speciation would be a lot cleaner of an execution. I also just don't think the vibes of those games quite fit into Xenoblade. In a light sense yes, but I the games all carry themselves differently if that nakes sense. So refitting them in seems like a better overall idea, at least for me
