I have the 2022 awd HR-V. I've heard others talk about being able to roll down windows and open sunroof with the "keyless entry" key fob w\ start-stop button. However, mine doesn't seem to have this ability. Is it only on certain models (the top model)?
Was this disabled on my car?

Any chance the second clock on the left can be programmed to show MPH digitally? I think it's odd that there are two clocks and not necessary. A friend mentioned her car (not a Honda) can be set up to show MPH digitally as well as the non digital speedometer.

Another tip...If all doors are locked and you open and close the rear hatch it will automatically lock without having to hit the lock button again. Found that out by accident on my 2018 HRV. A great feature if your just grabbing something from the back.

I have this car and the head rests are horrible. The front lean forward pushing my head fwd. Are they adjustable other than up and down? The back are even worse. For them to be borderline comfortable, I have to completely raise them blocking most of the view out rear window. Help
Bought me son the third model up yesterday. Sharing this with him now. Any other tip I would appreciate it. Me and my wife have owned three CRV and we stayed with the base to keep the 2.4 vs turbo 1.5. The normal 2.4 cars come into the dealership with 400 k on them. I doubt the turbos will last that long.
Thanks for the video justin...I recently bought a 2021 honda hrv after the dealer got it tinted the drivers side window when half way down squeaks a lot....they claimed its caused by the tinting...it has since been removed and the squealing left but can still slightly hear it....can the tinting alone cause such squeeking?
ooh.. i had this problem with my 2017 civic... had to get silicone spray/lube and sprayed both top and bottom tracks... took about 2 hrs from spray to dry... that squeaking was so irritating...
these are great tips! is there a setting buried somewhere to change the temperature reading from F to C? this is my one peeve that I can't change it lol.
I am pretty sure there is. I have to imagine they would give you the option to change it. But I would have to sit in the car to see if I can figure it out.

Hey Justin, thanks for the video! I was wondering, does this car beep when it senses objects, pedestrians, cars, etc as you’re reversing? If so how do I set it up? Please respond asap. Just got my hrv ex on Saturday and still trying to figure some stuff out. Thanks again!
I have one as well and it doesn’t do that.
Go into vehicle settings (using controls on steering wheel, small right side dashboard screen) and turn forward collision warning to max distance. Mine has been an absolute lifesaver. It beeps RIGHT when you still have time to safely stop. It reacts to cars, trucks, semis, motorcycles, and pedestrians both walking and stationary.

OMG, just got my new 2022 HRV EX and I see that WE DO NEED YOUR Tips and Tricks! (regarding the touch screen, door locks, etc. )Thanks! BUT I did come to TH-cam to ask one thing about the BACK SEAT HEAD RESTS on this car. They are VERY UNCOMFORTABLE when they are DOWN. Besides removing them, which I probably won't do, and since no one will sit in the back, Is there any modification planned so that they won't be so uncomfortable and twisting your neck forward while they are down?? They are VERY BADLY designed! Hey thanks!
You can slide them up before your passengers enter. Otherwise they’re smack dab in your back. I keep mine down otherwise because they do obstruct the back view. I hope that helps.
@@tmr3927 A company has to redesign them and sell them as replacement because the original ones are very uncomfortable.

Is there a way to push the trunk button on the key fob and have the trunk door pop open instead of the button just unlocking the trunk?
The vehicle would have to have a powered tailgate for that to take place. I believe I've seen aftermarket options of this though

One thing that bothers me with my 2022 HR V is when you get in close the door and you remember that you left some thing in the back, you get out an try to open the hatch and it will not open, only if you go back and turn off the car will it open (push button start). Thank You for the tips. Did you know that there's no compass on this car, crazy!! :-)

Those hidden menu button combos do not work in my 2022 HR-V. I get the Honda logo for a long time and then the system reboots. Am I not holding it down long enough because it seems I’m holding the buttons down a VERY long time?

I’m still really going back and forth between the hrv or the ridgeline
If you got the extra money get the ridgeline if you're buying new. I have the hrv AWD sport but if I had a extra 10k I'd would have gotten a ridgeline.
. Much more room to safely store my fishing equipment and poles in the hrv...open truck beds are pretty useless these days..

The door unlocked feature is stupid. Why wouldn't you want them to automatically lock? Automatic lock is great!!!
