There's a safety reason you want to keep "Driver's door only". If you're by yourself at night & you've unlocked the driver's door, a maniac that just appeared out of nowhere can't jump into the passenger door because the Driver's door is the only door you've unlocked.
Totally agree. Unfortunately, the 2023 HR-V LX doesn't give you the option. Major safety issue. Why did Honda take that away from this model? My old 2006 Civic LX had 1-2 clicks by default.

Very good information. I have watched this probably 15times because I am upgrading a 1999 Honda CRV to a 2023 Honda HRV EXL. After living in the 90s for 15 years, I am new to all of this technology.
We ahve the 2016 and think it's great. I was laughing about your 25 year old car... it reminds me of my 1991 Toyota, still running with almost 400,000 miles. I bet y9our CRV runs finw still too. That being said, these newer cars are great! Good mileage, less upkeep, the tech is fun... I like these great stereo systems too.

I just bought a 2023 HRV LX AWD. I've had it for a couple of weeks. Love it! The only think I don't like are the seats.
Seat color is also a no go for me

Justin, thanks for the tips. I just picked up my 2023 Honda HR-V SUV a couple of days ago. Big difference between the 2020 that I had. How do you adjust the rear-view mirror from night to day light driving? I tried the conventional way of looking for a clip under the mirror and didn't feel one. During daytime driving the rear-view mirror looks cloudy.
I guess that I have to ask Honda this next question. In the interior over the driver's and passenger's door there is no grab handle to hold onto while exiting or entering the automobile for us old or handicap people. Very good video, just slow down your speed of talking.

Same reason your phone videos and pics of your home TV screen are glitchy. Refresh rate vs the frame rate of recording.
Is there a way to set up your heat to to turn on automatically when you remote start?
I traded my 2020 Civic in for a 2023 H-RV. One feature i miss on the Civic is the ability to make the background on the display anything i want. I put a photo of our dog on ours that the display took from a thumb drive that i put into the USB outlet.
Can the 2023 do this as well?

Hello! I was wondering if there's any way to keep the car on while someone is inside, I recently purchased and I go into store and perhaps 10 minutes my girl texts me that the car turns off. Would I just leave the key fob with her next time or is there a way to fix this?
i would just leave the keys with your in the car. she can unlock it for you when when you get back.
So I can use my key fob to open the trunk? I figure since it’s not powered
Another question? Thank you for showing how to lower the windows with the remote when it is hot outside. I’m guessing that is the only feature? I am guessing that you cannot tap the key to make the windows go back up?
Correct, you cannot tap a button to roll the windows back up. If you are looking at the previous generation, you can put the key in the door hole and turn it twice and hold and it will roll them back up.

The Honda HRV does not offer Homelink, which allows you to connect up to your garage door.

Why is the one valve cap green and the rest dont have any? Is there Nitrogen in those tires?
Question, in the trunk, the gas funnel accessory, and all the other accessories in the Styrofoam area, is that available in the sport model? Or only in the EXL model?
Those are available in all trims.

It just occurred to me. Gasoline (in funnel) & Styrofoam. Doesn’t gasoline melt styrofoam? I guess you shouldn’t put the funnel directly back into the Styrofoam after using it to fill the gas tank from a can. But will people do this?

the window roll down feature isn't a new feature. I have a 2006 Ridgeline that can do that.

my display (sport ). - doesn’t have things like wallpaper and stuff like that. - that’s why I thought u were showing the EXL -. Am I missing something?-- the radio in your video looks a little different. Like more of the EXL - ( that I also did test drive)
-- apologies - u are correct with the “wallpaper “ feature “. After some digging into the “settings” I did * find a way to change the wallpaper background -. But no funnels or things in the trunk :(.

Hi, ty for video. I currently have a Civic and I’m looking to buy one of these. (Torn between red and yours in black) I put $500 down for Red in EXL with leather but thinking sport is better in black no leather, I don’t know?? . Please help !!
You will or would have loved Sport black no leather. Faint orange seam effects are not too loud/garish.
I personally hate fabric seats and the Sport doesn’t come with a moonroof 🥴. EX-L all day!
Red cars get more speeding tickets because they are easier to spot...as per insurance

Instead of having it on "auto" , turn the light knob down one, right under "auto" and it shouldn't be as bright

Answer is NO. Not in sport. Sport is plain. That’s only in EXL.
You have to connect your phone and use a app like google maps.
Apple CarPlay - Waze works great
Is there a way to use apple car play and play music off of a USB key at same time?
No, only the one USB port that does more than charging.
Is there a way I could do Apple play without connecting thru the cable?
Only the EXL model has wireless Apple car play & android auto.

Can I connect to car play using Bluetooth?
No, apple Car Play or Android Auto requires the USB cable, and then it disabled Bluetooth but does everything you need or like? thru the cable, without Bluetooth. The big reason to love this is having the navigation not only appear on the screen (7 inch like Sport or base), but having it interactive with touchscreen. For fun you can poke the touchscreen to show a satellite view instead of just road oriented!
