- context of this video: I just wanted to draw cute ponies and scary ponies 🦄
I love the vibe of visual novel and RPG horror games, and I plan to develop a real game someday once I learn the programs. For now, I’m enjoying creating animated videos that look like those games (mostly with ponies, because I’m still stuck in the 2010s era of MLP creepy videos lol)

Im guessing she didnt take it well when she realized she'd out lived all her friends.
Also, considering pinkie looked very different between the game and when she needed to address reality, I think the game versions are how she tries to delude herself into thinking the look still.
Rainbow was probably hard to get right, being that shes has such a striking mane and tail, and pinkie may have needed modifications, as I doubt the new pinkie was as happy go lucky as before.

thinking about it, her hair is very bold and sharp, so it was probably getting a blue pony, or one that represented rainbow better
Makes me think this is post her friends dying with Twi being immortal or living much longer, since shes an alicorn and all, and shes remaking her friends from people who are close enough in either personality or physically, seeing as they slowly deteriorate in "accuracy" rainbow being the wrong color, pinkie's well... everything.

I think it's interesting that Twi couldn't find a blue pegasus, considering how multicolored all ponies tend to be. Fake Dash is a pretty uncommon color type in general, whereas Fake Jack and Fake Pinkie seem more spot on. I wonder if it's to imply that ponies are less colorful in the future? This is all in some bunker so maybe the world outside is damaged by war or some kind of magical catastrophe caused by Twi? Such an interesting video.
Didn’t the Mane Six have their colors dulled once they all got into an argument in “The Return of Harmony” (the discord ep)? Maybe Rainbow, Pinkie, and Twilight got into an argument before Twilight went crazy, and the three most agreeable (fluttershy, rarity, and applejack) stayed with her while the rest left? And another commenter pointed out how Fake Applejack seemed to be bleeding from the eyes/has stitch marks in places which could imply her having the real applejack’s skin attached to her, so it could be that it’s Twilights friend’s real, discolored skin attached on other fakes’ bodies…I don’t know lol.

Well in Nature, Blue is the rarest color. You don’t see blue animals or flowers often. So I think this implies to the MLP ponies too, considering I didn’t see many blue ponies in the series. It’s just my theory tho, a FILM THEORYYY
I feel like this is a couple decades or centuries after MLP:FiM. She outlived all her friends. Instead of moving on, she's been kidnapping ponies and brainwashing them to act as her dead friends, just to fill that void.
Damn, I really love this idea. It makes sense. It'd be a great grimdark fanfiction, I'll tell you that much.

I feel bad for "pinkie" because if you look closely enough you can see stitches for her mouth, when twilight says to "applejack" that "keep talking and I will sew your mouth shut" this happened to the similar situation with "pinkie" as she tries to get help during twilights guessing game which then Twilight sew her mouth shut and made her have a forced smile to make sure the audience doesn't know about what is happening behind.
She didn't sew "Pinkie's" mouth shut, she sewed it into a tight permanent smile that makes her unable to move her lips. It is probably because this "Pinkie" didn't smile enough, maybe not at all after being taken, so she tried to "fix that".
I wondered why she had a forced smile...
It really is interesting how Equestrians are just one bad alicorn away from horrors beyond pony comprehension. Like seriously, even a single unchecked alicorn would be like Equestria’s Homelander, free to do however she pleased.
None of these ponies have any chance of escaping Twilight nor do they have any way of getting through to her. So it’s just a lose-lose.
This is why I think it’s really dumb that Celestia and Luna make Twilight sole ruling matriarch of Equestria. The two sisters could check one another but nopony can check Twilight. (On top of the fact of how jacked up it is that Luna gets banished for 1000 years then only gets to rule and be appreciated as a princess for a few years before having to hand off control to Celestia’s pupil.)

Twilight observed her mastery of science, and those five, unlucky souls could not do anything but gaze back at their captor, agony, torment and desparation lingering from the colours of their irids, the weight of their stares becoming unbearable to the few remaining raindrops of sanity that screamed in regretful despair in the calamitous storm within the princess’s mind. The train of thoughts ran faster and deeper, reaching her preconscious and scavaging through the dusty chest of memories, hoarding all the remembrances of her friends she could manage to remember; all the smiles, all the laughter, all the joy she had experienced with the five mares whom had brought so much light in her life echoed within her conscious, but all Twilight could hear was despair and anguish. A lonely tear ran down the alicorn’s cheek, and all her subjects’ ears raised in surprise at the sight, the unreachable desire to be released from that mad mare’s house of horrors burning more than ever within their tormented souls. They had forgotten their names, their sacred identities so mercilessly torn from them, reduced to be mere dolls for the scientist’s amusement. Yet, the memories of their beloved families and the comfort of their homes still remained within their minds, and they couldn’t recall how many times they had begged their deranged captor to be freed, to run back to their loving nests and finally feel the embrace of their loved ones once again, to abandon this atrocious hell pit and leave it to rot in the depths of subconscious, where forgotten nightmares and unwanted memories decayed with no chance of ever escaping. And just like all those bad dreams they had as fillies, those five souls had been rejected from reality, lost to time and abandoned to suffer in a perpetual limbo from which not even the sweet caress of death could save them from.
They had screamed, they had cried, they had begged to be released, but all their distraught, agonizing words had fallen on the deaf ears of a mare who was merely a shadow of whom she was once, the beloved, acclaimed ruler of friendship now driven mad by grief, the past haunting her to insanity as the eyes of her long gone friends began plaguing her being, just like they had done for so many nights before: she remembered Rainbow Dash’s proud, confident stare, her magenta eyes glimmering with the confidence and loyalty she held to whom she cherished; she recalled Rarity’s vibrant blue irids, shimmering like gemstones on her candid, strikingly stunning face; then, the gaze of Pinkie Pie suddenly flashed within her mind, bubbly delight radiating from her melodious laughter; the shade of Fluttershy’s timid eyes coloured Twilight’s conscious as she observe sweetness and felt the heat of a warm, kind heart, followed soon after by Applejack’s strength of mind and her remarkable sense of justice.
She tried to look into the eyes of her subjects for all the lovable qualities that had been lost along with her friends, desparately scanning those distraught souls for Applejack’s honesty, Rainbow Dash’s loyalty, Pinkie Pie’s laughter, Rarity’s generosity and Fluttershy’s kindness, but all she could find was distraught despair, which merely fueled her own agony.
And as her quiet tears soon turned into uncontainable, loud sobs, and then into brutal, hideous laughter, words crawled up her throat and mixed with her maniacal hilarity, “Get ready, girls!” her horn shone brightly as a magical aura surrounded the camera, turning it on and allowing the familiar, red light to glow intermittently, “It’s showtime!”

1:23 Everyone says that the weird and scary stuff starts with Rainbow, but I think it actually started with Rarity. One of her eyes is blue while the other is purple.
I think, because it could also be that because of the lighting the blue looks purple.
It's blue too, it's just that the outline is purple and there's a higher percentage of outline to colouring compared to the right eye.

Like HorridMEATsale said, something happened to the earth ponies. Not only is Pinkie also wearing a collar, but you can see her mouth is sewed up, with to keep an eternal smile or to shut her up. Fake!Apple has blood coming from her eyes in a way that makes me think she had a surgery to changer her appearance, maybe even stuffed in a skin suit? There's lots of dead ponies in the background so its probably the failed apple and pinkies

That is, imagine one of the endings:
Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo were fighting one on one. And in the end, when Rainbow wanted to push her, Scootaloo suddenly resisted and pushed the pegasus down from the bridge of the factory, and Dash fell on that thing which pumps out blood for rainbow, and just from Rainbow Dash started pumping out blood and she screamed in pain, and Scootaloo looks at this and leaves, leaving her there
And in the end, Rainbow Dash somehow miraculously managed to get out of this thing, and... in the end, she looks like this.

This was wonderful. Subverting expectations. Your art style is very charming and your animation looks so smooth. I assume that Twilight was re-creating her friends with other ponies. The detail that Rainbow doesn't white look like Rainbow was a great set-up. And, the shadow of the decapitated "Applejack" was awesome.

Damn, I really like the artwork this guy has. It feels cute enought to pass as a kid's stuff, but you can still notice the rugged details. The eyes look nice but rough, the shadows and blacklines also feel like they're made by a crayon or something like that, giving a "Creepy under the skin" vibe. Dunno how to spell it better than this

Honestly while the whole thing is unsettling altogether especially later on with the implications, but makes me the most uneasy is what could possible be the body count?
Those devices on them were able to make the cleanest cut I've ever seen the moment Twilight grew too detached from the image of what she was looking for as we can see with our unfortunate "Applejack" now I already know the whole Alicorn thing shows there's ponies legit have no chance to escape or even fight back but that doesn't mean that Twilight found success in majority of them. *How missing posters could possibly be sprawled about from town to town? City to city even?* Knowing barely anybody will suspect that it's the dear princess doing this either, that only furthers my point on HOW many of these ponies did we possibly lose? How many failures did Twilight have?
