As a person getting into story creating, I find the world quite simple but unique. The gossiping and chattering about one small being reminds me about how people are talking about someone’s pet animal or a trophy that is really stunning. The emotionless characters struggle to feel emotions is an odd thing to see in stories, but experiencing them for the first time symbolises a pathway to becoming human. Evola is what folks refer as an oddity for the lack of empathy she has and attempts to mimic expressions just to seem like she is an individual, like using a mask to hide yourself. But every conversation she has with Q I start to think there is a bit of emotion she express but I don’t know why. Though Ezra is an opposing character with a past thrill of murderous intentions and violence he inflicts (like an evil guy.) But as you notice the sudden change in finding someone similar to him it intrigues him. A powerful being that gains a goal to feel something besides what he describes are “bland emotions.” In the end Evola and Q run off and he goes on a rampage like a child throwing a deadly tantrum, with intentions to even lock up Evola for good made me think about intrusive thoughts could come into mind after being scolded by a parent. In the end they of course kissed, with Ezra’s gift to help Evola feel emotions. I really did like it, and it makes me want to get into romance shows. That’s my opinion about this movie.😌
This is not a cute or romantic thing I’m really worried kids will see relationships like this and think it’s normal. If I a guy treats you like you’re just an item to be owned and obsessed after you need to get away from him.
