I theorize that Fluttershy never coughed, and that it was Rarity. Rarity asked if they could forget about it and looked the most scared. Fluttershy was right next to her and would probably have been able to tell it was her. I think Fluttershy, hoping Rarity wasn't really infected, lied and sacrificed herself since it was clear someone was going to die for it.

A part 2 was made in 2017 and it said applejack was the one who coughed and lied about not coughing and it makes since sense she was near applebloom when she got infected and it said fluttershy had enough of the virus and lied cause she wanted to died and leave the hurt or should I say stop hurting

Think it was Rarity. Applejack being the element of honesty probably wouldn’t lie about it, Twilight panicked when there was a cough, and by the way she said it Fluttershy wasn’t the one who coughed but gave herself up to save others. Leaving Rainbow Dash and Rarity. Possibly RD but she panicked right away as well and it seems Rarity was the most nervous. She was the one to suggest to forget about it rather quickly.

I mean, yes. But at such rapid fire, it could be a very weak spell that’s not designed to kill.
Not as scary as i was expecting but as someone who relates to flutter shy and has a bad coughing problem it did get to me a little bit, i feel really bad for all of them but i will say who ever lied should be ashamed of their self as they put everypony throw that and got flutter shy k*lled because she didn't want anyone else to be hurt.

I will agree with one of the commentators, I really didn't believe that this video's thumbnail was depicting something from you channel. So I brushed it off and didn't even read the channel name beneath the thumbnail. But after some time I saw this in my recommendations again and paid some attention. And watched it, because I know that your work never dissapoints. And it didn't!
