Agree been using for many many years but did not see much difference
Yup it can't on the old stretch mark but it can lightening it and avoid new one
It lightens my 40 plus year old stretch marks and they’re barely visible unless you really put your face on my skin
It is works only on red / brown stretch marks... Don't bother applying it on white stretch marks- only clinical treatment works for white stretch marks

Also I was told by a medical intuitive years ago that vitamin and mineral imbalances contribute to the skin not being elastic and supple. I would consider eating well balanced meals for dense nutrients.
I used bio oil all my life for scars. I really like the results. however, it's also due to the mechanical pressure you make when applying the oil. it's good to massage scars. it helps them heal. so maybe it is that. maybe it's the bio oil. but I keep using it, besides, it smells good lol

@@winnifredofosu-manu5691 it's best to use scar treatments like bio oil and silicone scar sheets as soon as possible for scar prevention, however bio oil is affordable and good for your skin anyways so there is no harm on using it for older scars. Even simply massaging scars daily helps to minimize their appearance.
@@winnifredofosu-manu5691 I suggest using bio oil daily in combination with silicone scar sheets for best results (not a Dr, based on personal experience & personal research)

I’ve used it on purple, and white stretch marks for years. It’s really faded. You cant use it for a few months and expect it to do wonders. I do body scrubs as well

I thought I will never get stretchmarks not until I reached 32weeks on my pregnancy, I used Bio oil and Palmers lotion starting first trimester to prevent it. But it didn't work.😹😔
Gold Bond Retinol Lotion will help fade them. Get the big bottle.

Week 32 came along and boom, stretch marks on my belly 😅 still using it though cause it does make my skin more elastic and supple but it absolutely does not prevent if you're already prone to stretch marks genetically...

I am currently 25 weeks pregnant and was wondering if Bio oil really helped anyone ever.
Did you use it everyday? I used it when gaining weight and thought there was no point using it anymore. As soon as I missed out one day, I got stretch marks. Palmers works.

Please people , this does nothing for existing stretch marks . You need to treat it on a deeper level. Lotions , oils and potions is just on the surface level and doesn’t absorb deep . You either need to remove them by surgery but then you also left with a scar . Best solution right now is to treat it with inkless tattoo treatments injecting medical grade serums plus camouflage tattoo that matches your skin colour . It’s painful as hell but only way to reach those marks . Do some research and don’t waste your money . ✌️
There is no cure for striae stretch marks.
I pull out Bio Oil when things get bad! I have sporadic outbreaks of psoriasis, and Bio Oil is about the only thing that keeps the Rich Corinthian Leather thing from happening!

To the best of my knowledge the only topical product that has been prove to reduce them is strata mark. Bio oil will have an impact with consistent use, but not as good
My thigh stretch marks were a kind of purple color I used boi oil and they turned white I'm happy with that 😊
That means they scarred normally. After mine were all purple they all turned white without any treatment. Sad to say its norma and the bio oil did nothing for u haha

I actually have tried bio oil for more than 5 months 2 times a day but nothing has changed ( I have white Strech marks on my boobs) but on the other hand I’ve tried palmer products and i can see how they started to fade in 1 month and 2 weeks , and still using them everyday.
What product specifically were u using?
@@grace3853 I wanted to buy ( palmers bust cream , the green one ) but it was out of stock , so I tried (plamers massag cream) instead followed with the butter from the same brand and it worked well for me , i wanna buy the bust cream next time.

Hey this is what I used before only in the beginning you will think it's effective but when you already used longer not anymore unlike GiQir Stretchmarks cream never comeback even your stop using it. That's real one and it's very cheap 30g can use UpTo 2months

I used this oil during my second pregnancy and I got all stretchmars of the world! I got deeply depressed by this product - I regret that I did not use what I used during my 1st pregnancy when I got ZERO stretchmarks! All of my girlfriends told me I have to try that bio oil ...I was stupid enough to do that...we easily fall for these marketing tricks...
What did you use in your first pregnancy?
@@Queen-pz5sm I used Eucerin oil for stretchmarks and I used one local brand lotion "Šaljić - Striet" and my skin looked perfect after I gave birth, like I've never been pregnant before.
I thought topical use of vitamin A is not recommended during pregnancy. Or is it OK in low doses??

Used throughout 1st pregnancy 13 years ago and I didn't get not 1. The only stretch mark I got was from the failed attempt to remove my belly button ring resulting in a mark there. Pregnancy #2. Using 2x a day

I don’t recommend watching his videos studies have shown enough especially other real professionals have talked about how you bio oil is only helping (may) in preventing stretch marks. Once a stretch mark happens it will stay forever you can fade the color tho with oils! But please love your stretch marks they are beautiful

You dont need bio oil dear, you can use any pure oil like jojoba or rosemary or rosehip. Since its the pure version of oils its harmless (still talk to your doctor tho!) and its way more effective

Because they're paid by other companies. Bio-oil works great. It's expensive but I bought it for my wife and asked her to keep herself lathered in it. It was tough because she's kind of lazy but she didn't end up having stretch marks all over her stomach only a couple of stretch marks.

i read someone comment in some other video that she started using it after knowing she is pregnant. Using it daily for last day of being pregnant.
Please, don't use cosmetics or oral supplements containing vit. A or its derivatives while pregnant, shortly before or while breastfeeding! This product contains the least effective vit.A derivative, so it is super cheap due to lack of demand from skincare brands who actually care if their products work. Just buy a jar of cocoa butter- it will do the same job in preserving your skin's elasticity as this product. There is literary nothing beneficial about Bio Oil other than being occlusive, i.e. oily.

try some kind of topical retinoid as this oil product probably won’t help; i would recommend you buying some kind of serum that is either OTC (Loreal is good, but you could benefit more the Inkey List - either their retinol serum with .1% retinol or their new retinol product (from the Super Solutions line) with 1% retinol, which is for advanced users but since it’s the skin on your back and shoulders, it should be fine; or you could try Differine gel or cream with Adapalene) or you could something prescribed at your dermatologist, tretinoin for example. Regarding usage, they tend to be irritating at first and require patience (4-6 months even, maybe longer with stretch marks) and regular use. Hope you find this helpful :)
And also try adding collagen peptides in your smoothies/shakes. Collagen helps with skin elasticity and also great for your bones/muscles.
