TODAY WE REPLACE THE OIL ON MY 2023 TOYOTA TACOMA TRD PRO. THE 3RD GENERATION TACOMA NEEDS 0W-20 FULL SYNTHETIC OIL AND I DECIDED TO USE MOBIL 1 OIL AS MY CHOICE. Hey the color of the filter looks a little off, had this issue with a filter I got from Amazon, said it was authentic but when I held it compaired to the one in my truck, it was super soft! I did a little reading and it turns out it was a fake! Being a TRD pro, I would hate for it to have problems down the road.

That’s interesting. I bought this filter at the Toyota dealer when I bought the truck because I knew I wanted to switch up the oil just after 1k

@@artysgarage Oh thats good then, I ended up getting a Mobil1 filter since they are actually the same as the Toyotas. The Mobil1 one was way stronger, I could barely squish it compaired to the fake one. It would suck if the filter failed and ended up floating in the engine. Great video though!
