- I've never been to Muumimaailma, or even to Finland, but I've always had a fascination and love for theme parks and for face/walk-around characters!
I love how Muumimaailma replicates the cosy friendliness and acceptance of Moominvalley, and the actors playing the characters are all so talented and lovely! A lot of these clips are of Snufkin since he's my favourite character and I find it so cool that the actors can also play instruments :D
Watching these just makes me very happy so maybe it'll have the same effect on some of you!

The only thing i dont fit on here is being able to capture people's hearts cuz im ugly af but otherwise id be perfect cuz im all these things, especially the gay part. Though i feel like a few more requirements would be like

@JazzyKatt 123 No, you don't have to stay in character but maybe a little bit. Sometimes even at Disney parks they break character (I heard a story about a creepy bunny, I'm not sure why he was even there. I can't remember any Disney movie with a bunny in it besides Zootopia). Snufkin is NO creepy bunny, that's for sure. It'd be easy to stay in character with him because he's not someone real bad or someone who overreacts. He's real chill and calm

I was in the Moomin World twice in my childhood, but I've got vague memories from there. My grandma told me that the actors could speak in Finnish, Swedish and of course English. The Swedish language is for the Swedish visitors, especially the little ones. Like me back in the days.

The one with Moomin dancing with the kids was adorable! And Mrs Fillyjonk and Snufkin performing. Also, Thingamy and Bob dancing was cute!

I used to work in a privately owned toy store in my hometown in Finland. Sometimes on special occasions the owner would get these kind of mascot costumes of childrens characters to perform for the kids, you know be hugged, goof around a bit for a few minutes. I was usually selected to be that person, I didn't really mind as it was kinda fun and a nice change of pace. I got to be Emmet from the Lego Movie, and later some Lego Ninja in this super cool Lego guy costume. Bunny from the Sylvanian Families a few times. But one Christmas, the owner went all in and got... An authentic Moomintroll suit, looked pretty much identical to the one seen here. I got to be a Moomintroll, all the kids just loved me to death. Then they took me outside, helped me on a sleigh pulled by a horse along with Santa Claus, dragged me to city center on a stage in front of large crowd (no idea how many, couldn't see far in that thing. A lot of people is all I know), back to the toy store, some goofing around with kids and after some time, day over. Basically my life peaked at that point and will never reach that height again :D

Maybe I'll learn it when I get out school. ^u^ The only language class they offer at my school is Spanish. I'll learn Spanish eventually but right now. Wouldn't it be cool if I know three languages? I definitely will want to work at Moomin world

Nautilus Shells characters speak English too. Some of them also speak swedish and German. I believe Snufkin has to be able to speak little japanese too. Most of the performs are in finnish or swedish but few are in English too 👍

They can speak in swedish and in english for sure.
My boyfriend is from Finland. Many people in Finland learn English at a young age, so I’m sure they would be able to communicate with you!

You don't NEED to learn Finnish to go! They expect international visitors, English and Japanese speakers especially (the stage plays have English and Japanese subtitle options and the magic bracelets & app support English, for example). The characters and employees can also speak some English, though maybe in Finnish you'd be able to have more complex conversations!
