I test drove the Lexus Nx, Cadillac XT4, Lincoln Corsair, and the Cadillac XT5. Even with the technology updates on the XT4, Corsair, and NX, I purchased the 2024 XT5. The XT5 has plenty of technology for me, and I didn’t care for the tablet style screen in the other models. But the biggest deciding factor for me was the engine. All of the models tested only offered a 4 cylinder engine which was fine. However, when I drove the XT5 with the V6, the ride blew me away. I love the ride quality and I’ve been enjoying the vehicle very much. It’s very smooth and handles well which makes the ride quite nice. Great review!

That is great to hear. There is definitely still a big market for the powerful V6 and they are getting fewer each year. We have a direct comparison video coming out next week between the XT4 and XT5 so stay tuned! Thank you for your input, we appreciate it.

I have an 18 premium Lx 45,000miles & no issues & perfect. Car is shinier than new. It has just the right amount of space, tech & power310 hp. I bought mine 2 yrs old for 37k. My other car was an 11SRX,it was perfect too actually..

Sorry boys but the AFM in the GM/Cadillac vehicles is garbage. I have a 2016 Escalade parked in my driveway right now-undrivable - due to a misfire in Cylinder 4 and a collapsed lifter. Last year it was a misfire on Cyl 7. Cylinders 4 & 7 deactivate when AFM kicks in. Because all the dealer did was change my spark plugs for the Cyl 7 misfire, my AFM issues were over looked and now I am having serious engine issues. There is a Class Action against GM in the US for the AFM issue. Be careful what you promote.

@@cherylwhite1322I run my XT5 in sport mode,it doesn't deactivate the cylinders in that mode.No problems on mine at 45k miles.

@@richardmorris6365 Hi, thanks for the info. I actually have been driving a 2024 XT5 Sport Demo for the last 11 days! The dealership loaned it to me while they diagnose my 2016 Escalade, which has a ticking noise & misfire on Cylinder 4. Last year there was misfire on Cylinder 4. Cylinders 4 & 7 deactivate when the AFM kicks in so it looks like my top end is gone. And..the GM of the dealership who races cars, KNOWS my engine is done. At 128,000 kilometers! 😳So, they’re trying to take my Escalade in on trade but what are they & GM giving me in return, I don’t know yet. There’s a Class Action against GM for the AFM issues in the US but bot Canada, where I live. I am a part if the Canadian Class Action against GM for transmission issues etc. As for the XT5, it’s a big change in size but I am loving the ride. That V6 is powerful & boy does she have quick pick up. Much better than their 2L Turbo. My kids love the XT5 too! Sure is fun to drive BUT I can’t let the dealership know that. 🤗
