Just the linkage for the clutch that had rusted was all It didn’t get enough grease from the factory. Even if it’s not stuck it is highly recommended to grease up that linkage! Funny story how I got to look at this chainsaw. The guy bought it brand new and had a heart attack while using it. It dropped where it lay and the family didn’t touch it. When his estate was being settled then his old best friend came by to walk the property and grab anything he wants. And he grabbed the chainsaw and I offered to get it back working for him as a tribute ❤️

What was the cause. My hand me down poulin 25d automatic seemed to have locked up..maybe instead what occured to yours occured to mine.
