The Letshouer Galileo is currently my favorite IEM under 200 dollars. It's one of the few IEMs that doesn't require EQ for my playlist. It has a great tune for Contemporary Jazz, Trance, and Metallic Rock. People who are into EDM or Rap may want to add a bit of an EQ bump below 300 Hz. The IEMs do handle EQ well and I think this set is a good candidate for EQing to other IEMs for testing purposes, if you're into that sort of thing.
I've had my set for awhile now, I love how musical and relaxed it is. Plays my library very well. Def worth the price imo.
I’m so glad you mentioned the Legacy 2 bc I feel it’s hella underrated, despite it being very similar in tuning to the Galileo (and driver configuration)
Favourite bass in my opinion (the ones i've tried so far) around this price point is actually the letshuoer d13. Perfect bass. Controled, textured, detailed, perfectly in between dry and full.

New sub here, this review caught my eye and wanted to thank you for doing it. These were actually my very first IEM's that I bought to get into this hobby and I was glad that I did. I have been listening to my S12's for a while now, which is my current reference set, but after seeing this review I think I will switch out to Timmy's set to enjoy some weekend music and gaming. Keep up the good work!

Listened to Hexa for one week, sold after 15 minutes with S12Pro. Listened to S12Pro for two weeks, got Galileo and now thinking about to sell S12Pro and btr5 just because Galileo + cheap dongle-dac is more than enough for me to truly enjoy the music. Love its look, cable and of course sound. Fit was a bit better with Hexa, but it should be fixed with some new eartips.
What's the comparation between the S12 Pro and Galileo?
@@febriantoian7213 S12pro attacks harm vocals, "p" and "s" sounds unnatural, plus overall presentation is so fast and dynamic that the music sounds like 1.5 times faster.
The naturalness of Galileo perfectly complements the genres I listen to.
Which cheap dongle-dac do you have in mind? Thinking of doing the same
@@lukakapanadze6179 I have dunu dtc50 which was bundled to Galileo. Not very powerful - just 3-4 clicks less than 3.5 out of my phone.
Can you suggest IEMs that has soundsignature similar to Audio Technica MSR7b (same level of technicalities, same or better soundstage) ?
I have already ordered hexa, but i am confused now. I prefer good bass and clear vocals. So hexa or galileo?
I've really had trouble to make it fit and stay in my ears. I've tried several ear tips. Whizzer ET100 are good. S&S Dunu are really good but some Latex ones were the best of the three. Too bad they all are so expensive. So I found a pair of 20¢ ones and turned them inside out. I have never tried any ear tips better than these. Perfect seal. The iems is kind of suspended and free moving and creates another impact than any other tips do. They are so amazing so that I've stuck them on all my iems. It's like a new world. Reviewers have to do all their sound impression reviews all over again with tips like that. The bass improves a lot. Stage, voices and details are just so much clearer and wide. It's a must to try. Not all tips are equally good to turn inside out though. The ones I like best have a fairly stiff stem and soft outer with a surface that sticks to your skin. Good luck!
I had same issues. Tried a lot of tips too. But now I'm using the JVC spiral dots Plus plus I think it's the perfect match for my ears.
While I enjoy the EA500 in some ways, definitely not something I expect to be to your tastes. Looking forward to the review anyways!!

I'd order them if the nozzle wasn't so big (diameter). For me I find
Ditto on the 6mm limit. Hexa is 6.5mm and my ears get sore after an hour. Not many reviews mention nozzle diameter.
I wonder how does Galileo images comparing to Hexa, which many give Hexa low scores for image size
Interested in this as well. I ordered Hexa and it is coming tomorrow will return if it Galileo is better.

It’s already been addressed but here’s my take of the Galileo’s stage (I have no idea about Hexa btw):
I’d be more than happy with the Galileo as an only IEM. It has a VERY open stage and lots of space. I obviously think my 64a Nio is worth the extra $$$$ but the Galileo does beat it for how much reflections/room/space jumps out. Noticeably so. The center image, though, is hazy/fuzzy/seems very substanceless whereas the rest of the stage is very sharp/concrete, almost like you could reach out and touch it. I’m not sure if the center of stage is really that “bad” (bad isn’t the right word) or if it’s just in contrast but I suspect one’s brain would stop noticing fairly quickly. But it’s the most open sounding in ear I’ve heard. Even if imaging isn’t as good/uniform as my Nio and MEST MKII. For sense of space,… the Galileo is noticeably more open. If it weren’t for the center image I’d use it over my more expensive IEMs just for that. At least use it as much. Even though literally everything about the other two is a lot better.
What's the best Iem for music and gaming between galileo, hexa, em6l, and s12/pro. I would also love a recommendation iem for music and gaming under 200. thanks!
Hexa is my pick. At $200, Binary Chopin.

At a point it comes down to taste, I can only say for me it's worth it.

Sorry for the follow-up question, I’m looking to get this IEM for my friend who is foreign to in-ears, she’s only been using regular earbuds for years, specifically the regular Airpods, so I’m trying to find a tip that seals good while also being ridiculously comfortable as if they aren’t even in her ear.

I was quite impressed with everything about this IEM except the case so I put it into a regular case and now it is hiding somewhere among the other regular cases. Very clever indeed. 🤔

I mostly love the aesthetic of these. If the plastic shell was a clear or gray instead of blue it would've looked almost perfect to me
