I’ve had the Galileo set now for the last two weeks and I am extremely happy with them. Perfect for a high mids, treble sensitive person like me. A very unique iem set has quickly gone into my daily rotation. Thank you for the rec and congratulations Timmy…you have hit a major home run imho. Alison Krause never sounded so good. 😀
This video made me go to check with the brand how to open the case easily, and it seems there is a secret way actually: to press the top and bottom by one hand together and open the buckle by another hand. 😅
Thank you for the review, always refreshing 😉💯 I feel like Timmy got inspired a lot by the og Thieaudio Oracle, which I have here and love. Btw it's not an easy task if this suppose to be $100+ IEM. 👍🙋♂️
Sweet review Andy on the Galileo, from the comments, Timmy and LetShuoer especially Timmy wanted a Oracle type of a signature,. I'm not saying that the Galileo is a baby Oracle, but Timmy wanted to achieve that type of signature and hopefully he achieved it in the Galileo, and have a great, blessed, wonderful, positive, productive and safe week
Great review! I'm a fan of Mele due to the lower treble and bass boost but im looking for a upgrade with great vocals. The Galileo sounds interesting, but is the sound a bit boring?
Hey Andy! Another nice review, thank you! Do you think this set will pair well with the iBasso DC03 Pro? I just bought this dac because of your review!
Great review Andy, this sounds like something I would like. LETSHUOER have some diverse range of iems. Their OG EJ07 is crazy good for metal and its my most favorite iem, since you like DF target, you might enjoy them as well. Hope ypu get the review it sometime.
Thanks for the review. I believe the tips are from KBear aet07 or copy. It should be medium small. Medium is totally white in colour. This is the best fitting eartips to my ears. Wan’er and Timeless AE come with these as default tips and I realised that I didn’t change them as they sound and feel ‘correct’ right from the start.
I think you will find Truthear NOVA will be as pleasingly suited for your preferences, lovely made IEM and with similar sound tuning (just a bit more denser with Bass). 4U is non Harman tuned so it may appear sounding different from Galileo
Hi, I was looking for a pair of IEM'S to play live. I was between the KZ AS16 Pro and the Truthear Hexa, but I must say that this ones are astonishing. Do you recommend these to play guitar and vocals live or are the focused to just listen to music? In that case what would be your recommendation between the other two? Thanks a lot!!
You are talking about IEMs for monitoring. I would say you already have a great candidate with the HEXA. Instead of Galileo, I would recommend you try Tanchjim ZERO instead, that thing probably cost equal to a McDonald's Double Cheese burger set, but technically Tanchjim ZERO would be great for monitoring of guitars and vocals. Galileo on the other hand would suit best to pure listening to music
I love how it look , but please tell me the what you think ok ? 😁 im using S12 and aful p5 , is it any better or should I get it ? I ask because i see you have them all 😁
Galileo will be positioned between P5 and S12, where S12 would appear brighter sounding, and P5 being Bass rich, Galileo is the middle ground of those two sound
@@donglemadness ok , so they all have different style of sounding right? 😁 i need to know before i go on and buy it , because having IEMS have the same sounding or have same style of tune is boring 😁 thank you very much for fast reply 👍🫰❤️ thank you
@@donglemadness may I ask you 1 more question my friend ? Under 100 usd , is there any dongle dac better than truthear shio , I watched your shio review video and i can see that is a very good choice of Dac 😁👍
I have the mele and BL03 and I go back to them just because they both have similar treble and are rolled off sounding. But this has less bass and can help the upper treble have more air compared to mele or Bl03. For the money I believe it's a bit pricey is my only criticism when you can get a truthear hexa for 80 dollars. Just saying
@@donglemadness I see. If I up my budget below RM 400. What would you recommend? Currently I am seeing letshuoer galelio , s12 pro , truthear red. Like so many choices. Which of these would be a step of from the one you recommended? Because tbh I just want 1 good IEM. Since I don't use alot of IEM I am more.of a headphone guy. What do you think? Btw I am from Malaysia. So RM 400 it's around USD87 below.
Is there any advantage of getting this if i already have the Aful P5 and Hexa? I found the Aful P5 to be my jack of all trade and the Hexa's bass and mid profile to be the same as Galileo.
That's a tough one because P5 and HEXA are already amazing in their own rights. Galileo is something you want if you need variety in your rotation, something you can wear for longer period of listening without any chance of fatigue
@@donglemadness That's a tough one indeed. I already have no fatigue problem with stuffs like Timeless and S12, let alone Aful P5's safe tuning. Galileo is even safer than that. I think i'll pass this. Thank you for your answer
I think Andy and Timmy (Gizaudio) have a completely different taste because Timmy said that Tanchjim Zero sucked and that's why he didn't review it at all
Think on your Head FI pros / cons you mention not good for gaming, I am looking for something for metal music / some dance and gaming, this is on my shortlist, was going to go for the S12 but treble isn't kind to me so.
Yes, Galileo is one of those IEMs that will be great for Metal especially those with aggressive guitar attacks and blast beat drumming, the Midbass of Galileo suits well as does the upper frequency presentation. S12 is great if you use it on less aggressive music
@@JackBWakeham Separation is good and the speed is good too so it will not get congested. I already mentioned in my video why it is not suitable for gaming, due to less holographic spatial projection which is more 2D rather than 3D
Different tuning, VX Pro is strong V and among the most holographic sounding IEM, more energetic and frontal with dynamics. Galileo goes for a bit more of subtle sound with smoothness and less aggression, also less holographic
@@donglemadness do you recommend i get the galileo if i have vx pro? i am looking for something neutral around the same price range. or just go for the zero?
Thank you. I just ordered a pair.
