MK2 done right! The tuning seems very similar to the Ultras, which has become one of my favorite sets in my collection. Even topping the Mest MK2 mainly for its coherency
Hey, besides coherency, what about clarity and technical performance between MEST MKII and SA6 MKII?
@@ramaidaugirdas overall I’d say the Mest is slightly better in detail retrieval, but the DD bass is slower than the BA, which makes those frequencies slightly less clear

If possible please do try the timeless ae (new version of timeless) with the white straight tips given inside the box. They are very good for the price, would be awesome if you could try them and pin them against other iems in the same range.
Saying, cos you are one of the few reviewers who has tried so many iems in different price range. Imo they sound better than heyday, blessing dusk and penon serial. I have not tried much iems like you but these are so good specially the soundstage.
Sadly many discarded this as a retune timeless :(

For me, idk how this would worth for the price it is unless you have money to blow and that would be the only one you ever need to get for an iem. Probably I will stay with my 7Hz Timeless AE and new Rinko I got, one neutral like Bose QC35II and one bassy like Sony XM3, it would need to have significant difference in some way other than... It sounds magical, I can hear the details...

I'll have to make do with my timeless EQ'd to the sa6 mk2 target, i dont have a spare 600 sheets atm lol, i love this type of tuning with relaxed mids/upper mids, 80% of iems getting released lately have way to sharp upper mids for me which ruins them.

Hi akros :) my P1max just died and besides other qualities a really really liked its capability to handle complex tracks (never congested). Could you please suggest me something u really like but has this quality (never congested)? What about the mega5p? I think u said that the orchestra lite struggles on the complex tracks? What about the hisenior t2? What about other suggestions from you? 😊 thank you mate ✌
TSMR Sands is the best at around 300, not much more than orchestra lite and much better in the bass and separation/layering

@@maegnificant you'd be surprised at how easily an iem can die, depending on your region. In humid countries condensation builds up easily and ruins everything.
@@TheSaniwaa I see! That sucks honestly. Really depends on the build and drivers I would say though.
@@maegnificant in my case that was factory issue that was getting worse. I wasnt able to detect it right away, but to be specific there is distortion in the left driver (it is loose or there is a tear in the membrane). Faulty unit. I contacted linsoul they didnt respond and now its too late. Shipping is not cheap I can use the p1max for gaming and buy another iem. It was cheap anyway I got my p1max for 84 eur...
I have the Xenns Mangird Top right now. Looking for a good second set! Would you go for the Dunu sa6 mk2 or the 7th acoustics supernova? I'm looking for Vocals. Thanks!
Well the SA6 Mk2 edges the Supernova out because the bass switch does confer the vocals the extra little body sometimes needed.
Also there is a almost 200us price difference in favour of the Dunu.
On the other hand Supernova has insanely good mids and exclusivity factor going for it.
They are both very solid , but I probably would go with Dunu.
How does an iem like sa6 compares with a headphone in the same price range like dt 1990 for example?
I'm curious about this too.
Iems usually are much more technical with way superior frequency response and lower distortion. Buuuut they lack the stage.
@@humanbass This means that sa6 MK2 may be able to compare with a headphone that costs over 1200+ dollars( or even more..) technically apart from the stage..? Last night I did a comparison my dt 880 with my p1 max and I was surprised.I could hear a lot of details especially in the upper register but there was a huge mis match in the frequencies not only in the stage.I had to crank the bass all the way up ( especially the sub bass) in the Panda to feel the bass and the warmth of my dt 880 and my monitors and cut the tremble by makimg it ruler flat over 1kHz..Same thing happened with my SSR.I also discovered that the pick of p1max in the 8 kHz is REAL..and not the usual defect of the process of measurement as they say..I guess that the Sa6 with its lifted bass maybe is closer to what I hear from my headphones and monitors..and those who say that SSR or etymotics are close to neutral are far away from reality.I also have serious doubts that the usual raise after 1khz in iems and in the 8khz region produces balanced results sonically.Maybe this is the reason that many companies lately started to diminish the tremble over time and lift the bass without fear..however I have to admit that the 8 kHz raise gives a fake.. sense of spaciousness..but it makes the iem also colder
It's better. IEMs with decent soundstage have as much soundstage as any closed back headphones.

Yes it's an upgrade... although having said that it's a upgrade that is dependent on a few other factors.....music style....DAC/Amp are the main ones.

Honestly the MK2 makes more sense to keep.....however much it pains me to say this the RSV considering it's price is no match for the MK2

I cannot say as I haven't heard the MEST..... But I have an Anole VX and prefer the SA6MK2

Ambos são muito bons. O AüR Neon Pro tem uma reprodução muito energética, como se de som profissional se tratasse, mas sempre com grande qualidade
Já o Mk2 tem uma tonalidade mais agradável especialmente no grave
Também achei o agudo do MK2 ligeiramente mais maduros.
@@akros9333 , a nivel de IEMS, tenho o dusk e o s12, adoro detalhes, mas gostaria de algo diferente deste dois. o MK2 parece ser uma boa opcao!

Used VE 2RA Fe plus Prime DAC, used A50s with M15 or Cayin Ru7 as the DAC
