This video is corny. 🌽🌽🌽 There are crackle files available for TrueFlex stages, if for some reason it's not showing up for you our support team will happily add it. Enjoy TrueFlex, we worked really hard on it.
@@colgatemk7gti698 I’m still on stock is20 but I’m currently waiting for them to drop the stage 2 trueflex high torque files. I’m still on stage 2 high torque.
Dawg whatchu do for a living??? I’m out here struggling to buy a clutch and Inter cooler lmaooo good vid tho! I’m glad I’m not the only one going IE 👏🏼
Did you have to change anything else? Because I want to pull the trigger for Stage 3. And TrueFlex is required for it. So I just want to be clear that all I have to do is buy the sensor and a HPFP and I’ll be set to run E85.
I’ve been running their flex tune for about 5 months now on the is38 now. I recently picked up a accessport and bought eqt e85 ots tune. EQT is way quicker. Since eqt makes you pay $350 for each fuel. I only bought that map. If I need pump to switch I flash stock and back to IE. I was disappointed as IE only gains 12 whp on e70 over pump. Their e85 is20 flex tune actually makes 360whp and 12whp will not pull a torque happy is20 when it jumps very far out.
@@colgatemk7gti698 I wouldn’t even have interest in the Garrett. It makes 20-30 more whp than a is38. A standard vortex will make more power than it. I would go that route with a custom tune. You’ll need put sensors and lpfp. But if I were you put the stock pump back together and go mpi and lpfp.
@@colgatemk7gti698 yea that Garrett won’t be available anytime soon on IE. They starting on s3/golf r first. I was one of the IE first people on gti is38. It took them a year to update the tune to fix minor issues. I’ve spent a lot of money with them but they just have too many things going on and not enough calibrators. Since having IE. I’ve had their stage 2 tune, is38 tune, flex fuel tune., and dsg tune. It’s a good solid tune the support just take way too long. The mk7 been out 7 years now. The power difference between the flex tune e85 and eqt e85 is a huge difference. Nearly 2 seconds faster 60-130.
I was thinking about switching to IE and put an is38 in my car in the spring. I’m sick of having to swap maps everytime I can’t get ethanol 😂😂 it would be cheaper as no LPFP needed or buying multiple custom tunes
If you want the convenience of TrueFlex do it, but if you wanna be really fast go hybrid or wait and get ie's new turbo when it comes out and get both👌
You actually can run this sensor and E85 on an is20 turbo. I'm glad because I was getting bored of the is20 but don't wanna upgrade yet 😬 this will be next.
Same boat, will go IS38 in the spring. Is that part of the stage2 pack or do you need to buy some other credits to get it? I’ve got the autotech hpfp, just need the sensor installed. Let me know

Sayin its corny, you are *Truly Flexing* IE! 👍
Bro I’m glad you are running this tune, I’m glad you are one of the few who are tuned with ie and actually trying their new stuff.🙌🏻
I got you bro!!

Hell yeah bro!
Any updates on the ie flex fuel?
Hell yeah man!
Looking forward to a full review. Do some logging & Dragy runs too.
Working on it already!! Stay tuned bro!
The tune runs cooler but it’s not that quick. It’s around a sub 11 second 60-130.
Yo! IE support my man Colgate!!
Fr 😅
bruhhh your car is goals fr
Thanks bro!!
why 2 sensors
Because I have a ethanol gauge senso and a sensor for my tureflex tune 👌
@@colgatemk7gti698 Wonder if IE just sells the harness separately so you can splice it in with the existing sensor.

I work for the DOE 🤭 and I'm broke af 🤣
Same story bruh. I saw the price for installation in garages and I convinced myself to do everything by myself
@@RazzmanMK8 bruhh same 😎 I’m not the best car mechanic, not even close, but Ima try and install the clutch on my own 😮💨😬

That should be it! But if you wanna make sure I would email IE there super helpful!!
@@colgatemk7gti698 thanks for getting back so easily they actually explained it on their website! Much appreciated my guy!

Yeah I know that most other tunes are fast 😭, I'm really hoping this Garrett turbo makes good power on trueflexs 😬, if not we're going vortex xl 🤭

@NerdGenius yo what are your thoughts on running EQTs OTS E85 map with HPFP alone?
Bro where in Washington is there a 91 pump I been looking for one for the longest I wanna tune my gti but damn can’t find one 🥲

Yeah it's really convenient 👌👌
It's not the fastest tho 😬, so for the late response 🤭
@@colgatemk7gti698 what do you think is peak power with the setup? They say E70ish makes peak power, that should be good for around 400WHP?

Yo what’s the IG so I can follow along w the build
About to buy this kit and tune. Do you think it was worth it or should I just buy a hybrid? Any issues with the tune so far?

The pumps after the click is just a big no! The charcoal canister is not a cheap part.
He'll learn eventually if he keeps doing it. Also IE isn't coming out with a new turbo. Its Garrett
Haven't watched the video yet, breezing thru comments. What do you mean pumps after click? When he's filling up with fuel?
Hold up you need a is38 turbo for this?
Is38 GTIs were the first to get it 🤭 but it will be coming out for alot more cars soon if not already 👌
Thanks for the video. What HPFP are you running? Do you know if the Autotech one will work?
Autotech will work! Just make sure there the upgrade internals 👌
More powwwaaaaa!
Brooo let’s see them dragy times!
Soon 🤭, heads up don't expect to much it's still an off the shelf tune 🤣
stop buying i got a giant hole in my pocket because of them i regret going ie
