When you installed your air filter box, did the foam seal around the tube get fully inserted into the car or could you see a decent amount of the foam? Mines is making a whistle sound in my 2019 Camaro2SS.

I just took my sound tube off because I was installing my new intake and realized it didn't have a fit for the sound tube, I unhooked it and put the new intake in and left the tube inside the engine bay is it okay like that or should I completely remove it?

Also, I was looking at the difference between oiled and dry air filter and it just shows a cleaning difference... is this truly only it? What do you think? Thank you!

A couple visual touches like the ACS side skirts (not sure if I’ll go gloss black or ILE black. Car is jet black) suggestion? Also the smoked tail lamps. Thanks again for all the videos. They are great.

So why is everyone charging more for dry filters now. I've been out of the modding community for years but it used to be better to go with oiled. What am I missing now?
@@patriotsfan1236 Wrong better filtration with a Oiled filter. Most people don't want to bother with oiling the filter so they choose dry. I've run oiled filters in every car I have owned and they perform better

You can clean them with saopy water, but they will need to be replaced every so often.

There is a little sponge filter inside of the sound tube. If you remove it, it sounds way better. I'm keeping mine.

The video doesn't make it obvious, but the sound tube connection at the firewall needs about an eighth-turn clockwise to come free. ;)

My 2021 ZL1 has the ports for the sound tube on the air intake and firewall, but they are blocked off from the factory. So no more stupid sound tube.

Once a dry filter gets to grease and dirty you can’t rinse it and it’s better to buy a new one

There is no top for this kit, it seals with the hood.
