Back once again with a new Touristenfahrten (Public driving) video from the Nurburgring Nordschleife from the 2023 season. This time one of my favorite videos, slow cars being driven on the limit. Its always fun to drive a Ringtool or Porsche on the Ring, but the most fun I have personally had is driving a slow car on the absolute limit, for some reason its a lot more rewarding. I don't know which games you want to play, but Asetto Corsa have almost every possible car 😊
@@carreviewer6345 which Seat Cupra? Leon, Ibiza, Cupra GT(the weird racing car), since neither of those are slower than cars already in lots of games(vw golf gti)

I don't know why but pushing slow cars to their maximum ability is much more fun than just driving faster cars. I 'enjoy' driving much more that way. Revving little 1L 3 cyl always gives so much fun
Yeah throwing around the grocery getter can only get you so much trouble. I drove an 80s 911 Turbo that would put you in the grave if you lifted in a corner, I found out within 15 minutes that it was a little too much car for me
The most fun I've had driving a car was a 1 litre Fiat Panda that would sound like it was about to explode just keeping up with regular traffic. The tyres were really thin so they would make a lot of noise going around corners at normal speed too.
My 1ltr Yaris feels like it's going fast and revving high until I look at the speedo and I'm doing 38mph lol
Yes. Partly because mere mortals can push a slow car fully while having capacity to enjoy it still😊
It because you can only have hobbies that show that you have money. If you have a ton of fun pushing hard that 1985 Fiat Panda you are socially designed a loser, you only supposed to have fun only by pushing hard a brand new McLaren.

That Rover 800 series at 0:24 is a majestic sight 😍 It's like seeing a Georgian Tallboy wiggle through Adenauer Forst.

Sh*tboxes with squealing tires, excited, grinning people inside and the most enthusiastic drivers. Best thing ever. They almost look faster than all the new Porsches and BMWs (especially the ones stuck behind them) lmao
This is what I like to watch: regular cars doing their best. Thank you.
Apart from the obvious fun, this is a testament to the safety of small front-drive cars, modern suspension geometry and current (even skinny) tires.
Yeah when you see all the roll over videos from the early days of tourists driving the track it's night and day difference

And a quick reminder for myself: Golfs are considered slow cars on Europe (here in Brazil Golf is considered a "sport car"... Please, stop laughing).

I see a Golf TDI drive through here like once every 2 minutes, they're nice, pretty cheap, good power, widely available and often the choice of work vehicle for Companies (my brother is an electrician and has one as company car)
if its something like Golf IV R32 all wheel drive it's a fast car that can actually be scary fast.
The Rover 800 made my day... easily the best thing I've seen.
I wanna take one of those Rare RHD Caddilac Seville STSes on there one day (after the Northstar is Modified for reliability) perhaps even an LTI FX4 Black Cab.
The Daihatsu Copen (14:24) was my absolute highlight! The Daihatsu Applause did also very well, and I loved the Panda's! Great video!
In Japan they got a whole racing league just for modified Copens. And the (600cc turbo) engine Daihatsu put in them has actual racing pedigree, as it was originally developed for a spec series rally car. The more you know!

I heard a turbo when he was flying past, what a Madlad.
Don't think it's a turbo. That's a 100hp Panda which has a 1.4 engine from the Abarth 595 minus the Garrett turbo. It's a momentum car so you need to full send and brake late into corners. I have 2 of them, bloody great cars! Love an Alfa!
@@CheekyCultured I’ve seen them with a Turbo swap and with the speed that panda was carrying and hearing a turbo flutter I don’t believe that car is standard.

I was hoping to see a Toyota Hiace gen 5, since it's the fastest slow car i know. Dudes in Yakutia drive those filled with people and huge cargo on top at over 130 (maybe 120 i don't remember) km/h on dirt roads between cities and towns, and slow down on turns only if it's too sharp.

The Jumper is the best!!! It won't be powerful, but it can take you hundreds of laps on the circuit and it will never break down.

I am the owner (and driver) of that jazz. It indeed can be send even harder, i just have to find out where the limit is. But 83 hp are still 83 hp.
Honda Fit’s are very underrated cars, they’re basically the spiritual successor to the late 90’s Integra/Civic’s in terms of driving feel & mods available. Also heard it handles a K24 swap from a Gen 1 TSX well, makes it quick
