Back with a brand new video, this time with the funniest moments at the Nurburgring Nordschleife during the 2022 Touristenfahrten (Public driving) season. I thought it was a good time to look back at some of the funniest moments I filmed during the season, including the weirdest/strangest cars, crazy drivers in slow cars but also funny drivers. The funniest thing I've witnessed at a racetrack was the Laguna Seca crew taking the corkscrew about as fast as they dare with a bunch of guys in the back of a pickup truck.

I used to dream of running my Exige on the Nurburgring. After watching all the crash videos, I decided there's no way I would risk it with all those idiot BMW drivers.
Now, after this video, I wouldn't even risk my Miata. These clowns are terrifying.

Somebody needs to tell the driver of that Audi RS6 C8 that the track already has maintenance to cut the grass.
Why point out the rs6 the volvo at the very start shredded it up more than the audi

All those drifting FWDs were actually doing pretty good until they slammed the brakes mid-slide
The ring is so humbling drivers come feeling the have mastered the art of drifting. They stir at the right direction and end up over steering 😂
I can't believe they had me remove my goPro because it was "dangerous" and then I see all these people with things on their roof

The shit boxes & oldies with bike tires (+ their drivers knowing what they are doing) beating the bling bling supercars for clean trajectory & cornering will never stop being funny to me. You can't beat knowledge & feeling. My hats off to the legends.

How does that help? Traction control is not a magic cure all. If you're going too fast into the turn, start praying!

some guy brought a 2018 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road to the Nurburgring. Btw, the tacoma is only sold in North America. Lol

Similtaniously the best and worst taxi ride of my life.
I'd like to see a Mustang II out there with it's passenger beating the top of the car with a hoarse whip.
i'd love to bring mine, it actually might do quite well, wouldn't need to be whipped, rather surprised how well the car handles provided some extra weight in the rear end (still in the process of removing the useless spare donut well and installing a much much larger fuel tank, along with shifting several components to the rear that don't need to be stuffed under the hood like a large battery).
Though preferrably still looking for a mach 1 that i can pull the 4v cleveland out of for it.
But in terms of cornering and downforce, it actually glues itself to the road very well and the sway/roll bars from factory do seem to keep all 4 tires planted firmly. IMO the only thing to be worried about is applying a little to much throttle at the curves or biting into it to quickly pulling out of them at least.
BMWs are fun to drive , i see!😂
Nüburgring is basically a GTA online race with no car restrictions 🤣😭
And full of clueless people... I raced on Nordschleife for 10 years in before I got on it in real life... If you go without the track knowledge, you WILL crash soon or later if you try to push it... Like all these people in this video has.... fast car won't make you any fast without knowing the track up side down . ... period

I think fun is everything. It doesn't matter what car you drive.
It's considered an actual road. As long as the car is road legal its all good. Also only supposed to overtake on left side, like a public road.

It's hard to understand why this track allows roof racks piled with stuff and people holding blow up dolls and stuffed animals out their window. So dangerous for the people behind you.
Because its supposed to be a fun track on these days.

@Go Clunker nope. Not at all. It takes great skill and understanding the limits of a vehicle. Many people here didn't know their vehicles and how they would react. I love my vehicle and know it very well. A lot of these turns would be borderline impossible at the majority of these turns at the average pace as my rear suspension consists of spring, shocks, control arms, and a watts link. No stabilizer bar to be had. Brakes would need a significant upgrade, too. Luckily a lot of the components on a crown vic are compatible with my merc. Town car not so much.

i can't help but notice since i've watched a few of these...is cutting across the grass there the "dutch" line? most people seem to try and make the turn but I frequently see dutch drivers go yea not making it cutting across >.>...might also be the audi line it seems :P

The turn is Adenauer Forst. If you're going to fast into the turn, you're going to understeer and go into the grass anyway, but your wheel will take a brutal beating. Others try to do power drifts around it, which is quite cool. Others freak, and lose composure of the car which can cause it to flip.
If you know you're going too fast and you're not going to make the turn, then the easiest thing to do is cut your loses and go straight through. That curb is significant enough to damage the suspension or the wheel depending on how hard you plow into it!
